What a superb apartment which was spotless and cleaned every day by a couple of lovely ladies how took great pride in their work. The apartment was one of four in the building and we had the top apartment with magnificent balcony views out to see and over towards the famous Peneco beach. As an added bonus we also had a small terrace towards the rear of the apartment which had a couple of sun loungers and a lage parasol. The actual photos on the Booking website do not do the apartment justice - after climbing the marble stairs our front door opens into the very well equiped kitchen (microwave. kettle, fridge, hob. cooker etc) where the read door lead to the terrace. Just off the kitchen was the living room with TV, big dinning table with 4 chairs, a bed sofa and decent doubled doored wardrob. The bedroom was spacious and the two large single beds quickly became a huge double. The bathroom had everything you would need and like the rest of the apartment was spotless. Both the bedroom and living room had their own air-con units and both had access to the balcony which was great if someone wanted a lie in. All rooms had plenty of storage plus there was a safe built into the wardrobe. Access to the pool was via spiral staircase from the balcony

In the apartment the wifi signal was poor at best and non existant most of the time - I understand the router in the front hall is some distance for the top apartment but some sort of booster would be a great addition. Booking in was delayed a little but finally worth the wait

Our view from our room at Apartmentos Rossio Mar was amazing. We had booked sea view with pool access and had both a view of the sea and pool. The temperature of the pool in very hot weather was very refreshing, not too cold, just the right temperature. The location of the apartments was very good, away from the noise but only a few minutes walk to where all the bars and restaurants are if you want to walk into the old town. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and very modern. The cleaners come every day, and clean towels are left every other day. All of the staff are very pleasant and helpful and I would like to say thank you to them for making our stay enjoyable.

Everything, second stay but this time in a different apartment. The sea view was stunning and the whole apartment was decorated to very high standards. The pool was perfect and the location for us is the very best. 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants, 2 mins to the beach but set back so very peaceful at night. There is not one bad thing I can say about this place, cleaned every day also. Once we have confirmed our dog sitter, we will be booking again.

There is nothing to dislike.

Literally everything, the guys at reception were so friendly and welcoming, the place was huge and so well equipped I loved our stay here! Coming from London the ground floor stay wasn’t difficult to sleep in really with the windows closed you don’t hear anything but we loved leaving it open and listening to the people outside! The beach was 2 minutes away and it was so refreshing to quickly get back to the hotel, the restaurant in front is also a really nice spot with a great view and after a few drinks an easy return to the hotel :)

Nothing it was all great! Planning to rebook for next year!!

Location, Secure Building, Modern Décor, Scenic Views, Pool, Friendly staff at reception, value for money.

There was no black out blind in the main bedroom and the room can be very bright in the morning time. The curtain rail is designed to take a black out blind but it is missing from the curtain rail. It is present on the rail in the living room which suggests there was one previously that hasn’t been replaced. Also the cleaning staff have their storage press outside the door of the apartment and they made a lot of noise directly outside the apartment door. A clothes iron is present in the wardrobe but doesn’t work. Small details like this need to be addressed.

Excellent location, short walk to main beach, quiet yet close to centre. Coffee shop on the door step for great breakfast/brunch. The private access to the pool from the balcony was great addition. Although we didn’t use it during our stay. Beautiful sea view. Apartment is newly renovated, has everything you will need. The owners really thought of everything to your comfort. Kitchen is fully equipped, modern and great for self catering. We had Free coffee capsules for 2 days of our stay as they are limited per room/stay.

If I have to think of one thing may be it would be great if cleaning service does vacuum the floors - it got quite sandy after day-two. But we didn't mind it that much.

Very comfortable apartment which was well equipped for self catering. The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to end of stay. Fantastic beach location. Great to have a coffee machine in the apartment. Lovely reception and cleaning staff. Beds were very comfy, we slept well. I would love to return and highly recommend this apartment for any family or couple.

I liked everything but If I could have more kitchen equipment I would have liked a blender to make smoothies and a baking oven dish but these would be extras, as all the essentials were included.

The location was excellent. It was on the doorstep of the old town very near the steps to the beach. It was also on the side of town to walk to the Marina. The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned with new towels each day. There was a nice small bar near by. There was also a nice small place near by for a healthy breakfast and cafe.

This room category did not have access to a pool whereas other rooms did. There was no washing machine but could use a laundrette 5 minutes walk away.

Everything. Location amazing. View from top apartment of sea was out of this world. 5 minute walk to the beach which was a fabulous beach. 10 minute walk to the marina for the boat tours. Apartment is in a nice quiet part of town with 10 minute walk to the busier areas. Apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. Highly recommend it for couples or small family. Pool area is only accessible from a spiral stairs on the balcony. Only 3 apartments share the pool which is great. We stayed in top floor apartment and had a second veranda at the back with lounge chairs and parasol. Book now

Nothing really. Perhaps a lamp in living room for more ambient lighting rather than the bright centre light. But this is being extremely fussy.

Perfect location, 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Stayed in the sea view apartment, which was spacious and had everything you could need. An iron and board was so useful, the air conditioning and balcony and view were perfect. Can’t think of one negative thing to say. The roof terrace was also very special. This was an our 25 th wedding anniversary celebrations and it met every expectation. We booked again whilst there, for May 20 25, couldn’t get the same apartment as already booked. But got one in the other block owned by Rossio Mar. The apartments get booked up quickly, which I think speaks for itself. Thank you for a lovely stay.
