Everything was very nice and staff was very helpful , they have only been open for a couple of weeks so some of the amenities were not available yet but still were accommodating.

Hard to set toiletries in bathroom- no shelf near sink and no place for shampoo or soap in shower

The hotel was great, the staff attentive and helpful. Cleanliness was an 11. The room was very comfortable and spacious. All very good. A Hotel I will choose in the future.

My only small request is to broaden the breakfast offering. I like some vegetables with my scrambled egg. Some simple additions might be? Fried Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Spinach, Dark Brazilian beans please (Feijao preto)

Despite chosing the hotel based on its location, it was the decoration that made us fall in love with our choice! The hotel has been recently remodeled and it just suits Figueira's vibe and history perfectly! The staff was also extremely kind and helpful, making us feel at home right away.

Our room's shower and toilet where built within the room itself, isolated through a glass structure. While aesthetically it was well thought of, the practical side of it needs some improvements. The glass of the toilet could have all been opaque, not just the division between toilet and shower, providing more privacy. And the shower cubicle needs to be better isolated for water leakage. These are two small details that do not weigh down on our choice of hotel. We would gladly stay in the same room again, it was small but lovely.

This was the best experience I have had with accommodations during my month of travel. The staff were extremely helpful, the facilities were amazing, the room was luxurious and the location, perfect. I highly recommend Dona Maria. Also, get the breakfast, it's worth it!

Just about a perfect place to stay. We had the seaview rooms which were well worth paying a little extra for. Really good value for money. Staff were extremely helpful.

Only one chair in the room. Would have been a totally excellent stay if there had been two chairs.

The little hotel is located at the estuary of river Mondego and next to a marina. So, it's pleased to have a view of the river and the sea on the roof or in a room facing the south. It's amazing to see both scenes of sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the afternoon. The room is well decorated contemporarily. All the staff we met were very helpful and patient.

It's quite rare to make tea with a capsule coffee machine, as they just couldn't provide any electric kettle to boil water. The space sems not plentiful for staying longer in the room, with only one chair and a camped desk. Probably because of the low season, the breakfast was not abundant.

Lovely hotel, with very polite English-speaking staff. They give good recommendations and are always eager to help. Hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the strand. It has a couple of nice restaurants nearby.

Complicated parking situation. They do advertise as having parking, but the hotel is very central, and basically, you park on the street, where they have a couple of spots. Otherwise, you need to park at a distance from the premises. I prefer more protected parking.

This place is beautifully done with a great sense of style. The view is amazing and the overall atmosphere is just perfect. The rooms are clean and cozy. But the best part? The outside tables! You can sit there, drink your coffee and enjoy the view of the port. It’s such a relaxing spot.

Breakfast is too basic. It works for Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian people, but not for us. I was really missing something hot not just eggs.

my absolute favorite on the Portugal trip. I felt like a queen on every level. Extremely friendly staff, extremely clean, rooms with love and attention to detail and at the highest level. great views of the harbor in many rooms, public parking spaces. Luxury hotel at an affordable price with all comforts, free use of expresso/tea machine in the room and large mineral water. I heartily recommend this hotel to everyone to make their trip unforgettable
