Staff fabulous. Room needs upgrade... definitely not 4 star, but bed is comfy so that's the most important! The suite space worked well for us. #1 most amazing was the feeling of quiet and gorgeous beach and gently curving boardwalk over the dunes where you can walk for miles along the shore. Few people off season and the fine granular sandy beach is gorgeous. Fugeira and other beaches further south are all sand but much busier and less accessible- a much longer walk across from the hotels. The sound of the surf from our room and fresh air were marvelous. Besides the good breakfast, the menu food was good quality at reasonable prices and the wait staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend. Excellent value for $105/ night suite.including breakfast. Correction: this beach is not rocky, mixed up with another. See pix, just endless sand.

Room needs update. Sand-themed carpet a fail. Bathroom light triggers fan which is noisy. Massages were not available due to hvac in that area. A window renovation is planned for this winter.

The apartment was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the beach - just crossing the road - and the swimming pools were good as well. The beds were comfortable as well. The hotel restaurant (Sal) and snack-bar (Farol) had good service and variety of food. The breakfast was excellent.

Some of the furniture was old (one of the chairs of our dining room was broken, the front of the kitchen drawers was loose and kept coming out) as well as the cooking equipment. There were only small things, and I left these suggestions upon checking out.

Breakfast was good. Reception staff are wonderful and helpful. The outdoor pool is great with a seperate pool for toddlers that my kids loved. Overall experience was very good and the location is perfect.

If I have to fault anything it would be the pillows, I really did not like those.

Location is amazing, 100 m from the beach, beautiful dunes and pine forest. The ideal place for a stay with the family before the peak tourist season. The hotel is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

In principle, I have no major comments, at the beginning of our stay the water in the indoor pool was too warm.

This is a lovely hotel right by the beach. Our room (suite) was comfortable with everything we needed, although ore sockets would be good. The meals we had in the restaurant (breakfast and lunches) and the bar (snack) we good and the service was excellent.

Wasn't clear that the main pool wasn't open on time of booking... that was one of the main attractors for me booking.

The desk and restaurant staff were fantastic. Very friendly and well-informed about the surrounding area. All staff we interacted with were also fluent in English and Portuguese.

Many items in the room itself were in disrepair. The bathroom door didn’t latch or lock, shower head fell off, lights only worked if you pressed the switches in a certain combination, sink drain was broken off, no outlets near bed

The hotel is a bit secluded from the big cities. but it is a superb hotel where you spend time and what occasion, everything No. 1 Lovely beach

Everything was perfect

Very impressive hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Food at the restaurant was exceptional. Gorgeous beach is literally outside the hotel

Nothing seemed to be open, staff had to be phoned to do anything like get a drink or use the spa. Pool was closed and being worked on. None of the local bars or restaurants seemed to open during the week, weekend only. Shower could've been better
