The view, the mountains, the architecture - made for views in every direction for every room. The pools were great.

The food needs an upgrade to a greener, healthier diet with more whole grain products to address modern families. It is pretty good as it is. But needs upgrade to get a recommendation on that part. There were loads of ants in one of our rooms. Could be nice with more English speaking staff. We had some bad confusions because of this. The deal with the bath towels was strange. The whole having to deposit cash or passports and giving the towels back at 8…. We wanted soundproof rooms. But we could hear everything from people passing our doors.

The location is perfect, surrounded by hills and with a view to the river. It offers the perfect nature getaway with comfort. The spa has two swimming pools, one adults only. The room was spotless and the cleaning team, restaurant staff and receptionists were exceptional. The breakfast was also very good from fresh fruits and bread, to good Portuguese cheese, and some homemade cakes and cookies. Also English breakfast available. The exterior playground was maintained and had a sand box. My only suggestion would be a room for children to play.

The view is astonishing and the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the house was very clean.

There is a lack of entertainment for children; apart from the swimming pool, there is nothing else for kids. The bar kitchen closes at 6:30 PM, and the restaurant does not have enough capacity to accommodate all guests, forcing you to leave the hotel to eat. The rooms have old blankets instead of duvets, and there is a lack of clear information about the facility's rules. For example, you need a swimming cap for the indoor pool and jacuzzi, but you only find this out upon arrival at the hotel.

Good breakfast, very comfortable room with balcony, bathroom very good. Great location with beautiful views. Easy onsite parking for our motorbike. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool areas were lovely also the garden areas with some attractive plants.

Nothing in particular although we felt the music in the common areas was inappropriate and too loud at times.

The view and the remote location were two of the primary reasons for us picking the hotel and we were not disappointed at all. We stayed in one of the mountain cabins which was brilliant for us (a family of 5).

We had a few language issues which gave us an unfortunate event at the outdoor pool. Luckily it was cleared with some other staff the next day. The staff in the bar were very friendly, but also a bit slow with both food and drinks.

The location... the pictures don't even do it justice, it's outstanding. The pools were glorious. And the staff, muito obrigada to each and every one of you, you made our stay so pleasant. It's so luxurious yet so relaxed, and ideal for children.

The wasps were quite aggressive near the mountain swing, but this is nature.

I specially enjoyed the location, the beautiful surrounding gardens , the outside swimming- pools(two for adults and one for children) the spa with two interior pools and jacuzzi. The room was spacious and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was excellent.

We liked the view, pools and gardens. My wife did some small hikes, and I enjoyed using the gym facilities. Our children enjoyed the pools very much.

Breakfast is a bit of standard continental.breakfast buffet. No option to order something like an omelet or fried egg. Be early at the pool with your towel to secure your favorite spot.

Beautiful property and wish it has been warmer so we could have appreciated it. The location was great for exploring the region. Very good breakfast.

We had to take two elevators to get to/from our room every time, which was annoying (Down two floors from reception, then walk down a hallway to the other elevator to take it another floor down to get to it).

The view was amazing, the pools were open 24 hours so we could go for an early swim or a late night swim. Which is amazing in this heat. The good was amazing, the breakfast as well, it had everything needed. The hotel rooms were big and spacious qnd had everything we needed. There were plenty of sun chairs so we never had to be quick for a chair next to the swimming pool. We fell in love with the pools.

The staff at the Spa were amazing, but the staff at the bar next to the pools were very very slow. We sat for more then an hour before getting attended. He asked for forgiveness for the delay. It was fine with us since we have time. after another half hour, another barman came up to us asking to re-order, because the other waiter was gone and didn’t note our order. We weren’t satisfied with this behavior. But the other staff at the reception and the spa were phenomenal. Especially the lady at the spa with brown hair needs a raise. very very friendly, we loved her!
