Hotel is literally on the main square next to a lovely park and arcade. The room was immaculate and featured a lovely private terrace that looked out on the square. Staff was welcoming, attentive and spoke English if needed. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Items were fresh, hot or cold as appropriate, and delicious. Variety was good. Check in and out was smooth as silk.

Two very minor drawback. The coffee machine which served mediocre brew. Freshly made espresso and other coffee drinks were available if the staff member was present but early in the breakfast session she was not always in the room, apparently having other duties. When we managed to catch her, when we managed to catch up with her we quickly got excellent beverages made to order. Secondly, the hotel walls are a bit on the thin side. WIthin normal ranges of conversation they are more than adequate, but we unfortunately had neighbors in the middle of a stormy and nearly violent argument that went on for 45 minutes. The hotel staff was sympathethic but not much they ould do about it. Just be aware.

Excellent room with a nice balcony in a very nice, clean, and quiet hotel in Fafe. The breakfast was good too, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Aside from a slightly broken toilet knob, (and those things can happen, and the staff was very apologetic) nothing, really. Everything was in good order, clean, and we enjoyed our stay.

We were made so welcome by staff. The room was beautiful and had a balcony with seating overlooking the town. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable. Had a great night's sleep. Close to town amenities shops, bars and restaurants. Wonderful local market on Tuesdays. Breakfast was amazing. Couldn't recommend highly enough

The hotel do not have parking and you need to find a place around which during the day is paid for.

Hotel Fafentse’s staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Everything was clean. They even upgraded us. We enjoyed our stay with them and will definitely recommend them.

The hotel is very modern and stylish, and our room was incredibly comfy. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious! We loved the Vista Alegre ceramics! And the little sweets at reception!

The door in our room was a little difficult to open.
