From the moment we arrived at Monverde - Wine Experience Hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and understated luxury. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, always anticipating our needs with a genuine smile. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay. The hotel's facilities are modern, impeccably clean, and seamlessly integrated into the stunning landscape. Our room, with its private pool, was simply breathtaking. It was without a doubt the greatest hotel room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Truly, I can't think of any significant downpoints that detracted from my experience

Breakfast was amazing. The restaurant at dinner was very good as well. The room was spectacular and perfectly cleaned. The view is breathtaking and it was really one of the best hotels to rest where I've had the pleasure to stay. I can't say this enough: the staff is wonderful. Specially the ones in the restaurant at dinner. Top quality! Best regards and thank you for the wine recommendations.

Nothing, really.

Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices. The dinner choices were good. Wine choices were varied. The staff were very helpful. Our day trip by car to Guimaraes was a highlight of our time in Portugal. The time we spent in Porto was enjoyable on a Sunday afternoon, but the city was crowded.

The resort is a little isolated. Going for a walk was a little challenging once you left the property. No sidewalks on local roads. The wine tasting we attended was very well conducted but the wine itself was underwhelming.

I liked the uniqueness of the property and the sheet beauty of the landscape. Perfect place to unwind. The rooms were incredible

I didn't have a great experience with some of the “experiences” offered to me at the property. If I could take back any experience, it would be the Monverde Explorer package, which was just a lunch on the patio and there really wasn't much of a tour of deep dive into the property that I thought there would be.

The room! Omg. So private and comfortable. If I stayed my whole stay just in that room I would have been happy

I wish the spa had a comfy quiet area that you get at other spas other than the pool and treatment rooms. But I used my room for that... so not really a negative.

I went with a friend who wanted a Portuguese wine experience, relax and good food. It was more than she expected. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is great. Delicious food and breakfast. Comfortable, clean and beautiful rooms with vineyard view. Friendly and very receptive staffs. For sure I’ll go back again.

Great location in the middle of the vinneyard. The reception welcomes with a glass of local sparkling wine. Good service and excellent breakfast. Restaurant has very delicious food. Wine tasting was good as well. There's SPA, which is not huge but enough to chill in the sauna and heated pool.

Was a bit disappointed when after dinner in the restaurant olive oil, butter and bread which was brought in the beginning as an appetizer (and wasn't ordered by us) was included in the bill. The staff needs at least to ask guests if they want this at extra charge as normally such appetizers come as a complement. After several minutes of conversation it was removed from the bill but emotions were negative (it was not about money as 14.5 EUR won't make a big difference but rather about the approach), and the next day we chose not to have dinner at the property. Though the quality of food and service in the restaurant were very good.

WOW! We were absolutely blown away by the property, vineyard, views and the room. It was worth absolutely every penny - from carefully considered interior, unique and superdiverse breakfast to a delicious dinner. The staff made sure that my dad had an unforgettable birthday. I'd come back any day!

Absolutely nothing - it's difficult to think of something!

breakfast was delicious! Also, the room was beautiful and had an amazing view. We had dinner at the restaurant and the snack bar and it was perfect. The staff was so great and made us feel really great and we felt that they took care of us.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that we had to wear a swimming cap for the pool. We did a lot of spa around the world and i design spa as an architecte in my country, and never we had to wear a swimming cap or had to buy one to be able to go in a hotel pool.

The hotel grounds (vineyard) are serene, the room was spacious and beautiful, staff were very friendly. The highlight of our stay was the dinner, we took the degustation menu with wine pairing. A bit pricey in local terms, but very tasty and generous in wine (a whole bottle was provided for each dish...)

Having to purchase swimming caps for the pool, even for short hair man.
