The customer service was excellent throughout our stay. Good Wifi, decent AC (if a little slow to get going), and a nice size bedroom/bathroom. We greatly appreciated the free parking for our rental car; even though it was a few blocks away, we didn't need our car during the stay, so it was nice not to have to worry about. The location was great - only two blocks to the main square, beach, and funicular for the upper portion of Nazare. We appreciated that the free breakfast had a decent variety of items (though see the caveat below).

The coffee at breakfast had an unpleasant burnt flavor (it was from a vending machine type dispenser, so perhaps it needed servicing?). There was a sign in the kitchen area of our room that said "use of the kitchen" cost extra but it wasn't clear what was considered the kitchen versus the included "minibar", so we just chose not to touch anything (we've never seen a sign like that in any property we've stayed).

It's a nice hotel in the town. The personnel is very nice and helpful. The parking place provided was good, safe and spacious. It's just around the corner with the security code and accessible 24/7. Room provided had a covered and uncovered terrace with a nice view of the hill. The room is basic, but has all you need. It's clean. The breakfast is basic, but ok for 1 night stay.

I have to first recognize the staff. Many streets in Nazare were closed on our arrival, so Google Maps just couldn't get us and our luggage to the hotel. My wife set off on foot to the hotel. A short time later the receptionist showed up, hopped in our car and guided me to the hotel -- removing and replacing street barriers as we went (and after unloading the luggage on to the garage). We'd have never got there without that hands on help. We appreciated the upgraded room in the new section of the hotel that we received and liked the location (close to the beach and boardwalk and tons of good places to eat). The breakfast was really good, and the kitchen staff very nice. Wi-Fi works well in the room, and the upper floors are served by an elevator.

The beds were too firm for our liking -- but, based on our experience, that's pretty typical of most places in Portugal.

The room was beautiful and big, we felt right at home. Something about the decor made the room relaxing. Lots of space for your luggage, and also great for working. The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything, but not where it's too crowded and noisy. Breakfast was perfect and rich, and they had vegetables!!! We loved it. Everything was spotless, the loby was also nice. There was parking which was supper important for us. And last but not least - the staff went out of their way to help and be hospitable. Thank you!

Hotel Magic was a great stay in Nazare. Rooms were lovely, location was good (a short walk to the beach, restaurants and the funicular) and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay there. A special note: we travelled by car and when we arrived in Nazare there was considerable construction and one way streets (very confusing to us and our GPS). We phoned the hotel for advice and when we arrived, staff was outside looking for us--that's great service!

Road construction that made getting there a nightmare.

Location is excellent. Close to water and restaurants. Free parking is a plus but bring a small car. A staff person will go with you to find the garage and get parked It wasn’t far when we left and we rolled our suitcases to the garage and got out on our own. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. Everything you could imagine. The staff is as good as I’ve seen in any hotel or resort. So pleasant and efficient The public facilities and the room itself were spotless; a lot of care goes into maintenance A ten out of ten in all facets

That this hotel isn’t in every town we go to.

The location is superb, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by numerous delightful restaurants, very close to the cable car, there is also a shop nearby. The room was spacious, very clean, and boast unique, stylish decor. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of both hot and cold options to suit all tastes. Good wifi.

Some areas of the room could have been cleaner. We also had issues that the air conditioner, as it didn't seem to work. I mentioned that the A/C wasn't working when we checked out. The Clerk at the desk checked, and admitted that unfortunately it was set on heat and not a/c on their end. She changed it, so should be good for the next guests, just not for us. We should have mentioned it sooner, would have made for a better sleep.

Hotel Magic is a modern, upbeat property with a great personality. Great location that is close to the squares with shopping and great restaurants. The beach is a 3 minute walk. The funicular leading to the top of the ridge with the famous Nazare red lighthouse, small chapel, and view of the big wave beach. The staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. The breakfast is great.

I cannot think of anything that would have made Hotel Magic better. It is a gem. Location, helpful staff, fantastic modern rooms. Even enclosed parking, as available. Who could want more?
