The room is as per photos on Website. Located further away fr the noisy centre but also means 1.5-2km walk to restaurants & beach & sunset & furnicular unless u drive. Friendly & helpful staff tt offered to help park car & give great recommendations of places to eat, visit around Nazare & surrounding towns. Room is clean and well kept. No kettle or conplimentary bottled water within room but water can be obtained fr dining room. Nice dining room for breakfast & free beverages & fruits till evening. Pty has its own pte carpark & a lift tt takes 1 passenger at a time. Also a pool. Lots of parking space outside the pty including free space.

Bathroom basin is small with narrow vanity top. Bathroom has no hooks to hang clothings. Pte parking for 5€/day. Some lots not easy to park. Lift takes only 1 person each time.

The breakfast was a continental and was perfect for us. They upgraded our room for no extra cost, and we're there anytime we needed anything. The staff were top notch and were very helpful with all our needs. We only booked for 3 night because we were going to Madeira to meet family for two weeks, then back to the main land for 4 more weeks in the south.But after stopping in Obidos on the way back to Lisbon, we are thinking of going back up to spend another week in Nazare b

Nothing, except we couldn't stay longer. I'll also found the bed a bit hard, but that was down to me having a broken back, and nothing against the hotel. We didn't know until after the stay that the nice lady that cooked us breakfast was the owner, and a very pleasant host.

It was easy to find and has great parking. It's within walking distance of everything as well. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room over looked the pool and had a balcony. There is a lift to get your luggage upstairs as well. The room was spotless, the air con was great. Breakfast was very good with great coffee. There is also a bar at the hotel. We were given information on the area when checking as well. It's a lovely area to visit and this is a great hotel to stay at.

Really enjoyed our stay here. I wasn't expecting too much when we arrived - it's a modest looking place, but the location is great - a short stroll to the beach and with onsite parking you don't have to stress about where to park. The welcome was warm, the rooms were large and clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I really liked them and you could tell that they wanted you to have a nice stay, pointing out places to visit and helping in any way they can. Sometimes that's the most important thing about a stay. So really recommended and would stay again if I go back to Nazare

Lovely boutique hotel, perfectly located, immaculately clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful although not many of them. Had to ring a bell at the poolside bar to get someone from reception and vice versa. But it was fine. It’s a small hotel and the wait was not long. Breakfast was decent but not much left at 9:45 when we rocked up! If you want a quality restaurant visit Panageia. They have a restaurant on the front and one up in the hills. Absolute class…

Loved everything..,

Villimar is totally lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ellen, the owner, is on hand much of the time, checking in with guests, offering sight seeing suggestions, making sure the property is tip top and that her services are wonderful. Breakfast is a highlight. Fresh items, great coffee. Lounging around chatting over breakfast is the start of a fabulous day. The pool, of course, is spectacular. Villimar is a few streets back from the Nazare beachfront, which in fact is perfect, less noisy. Walking to Nazare for dinner takes minutes, and there's a lot on offer for dinner. The beaches are exceptional. Nazare is also close to Portugals 7 wonders, We had a car and visited several of them during our stay. There's a tanning, beauty and massage salon literally around the corner from Villamar. The therapeutic massage on offer is highly recommended. Nazare itself has much to offer. The old town is delightful. What a brilliant holiday.

That we didn't have more time to stay longer.

Feeling welcomed at check by the friendly lady makes all the difference. Also the pro active receptionist (Elio) in resolving our heating was much appreciated. Breakfast was diverse and catered for all our taste. Beds were comfy, wifi great and having a smart tv for screen sharing allowed us to see our favourite Netflix series and films.

Not much to say except for location. Not near the centre but near enough to walk so we didn't really see it as a problem but for people with mobility issues, it might be a problem.

The staff works very hard to make this a good place to stay . Everything was really as good as it gets. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious . The staff was courteous and helpful.

If I had to nitpick I would say that the shower door in our particular room did not close all the way so water got everywhere inside the bathroom after a shower but no big problem .

This small hotel is very new building, all furniture, room and bathroom are new and good quality. Good location. Small, but hotel has private parking. We had nice room with balcony, really enjoyed our staying. Bed very comfortable. At arrival day personal explained all information regarding Nazare – where to go, how far upper city etc. Promenade wit a lot of small souvenir shops in 6 min walking distance.

Café was not good.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and attentive. They provided detailed recommendations for tourist attractions and restaurants, and even lent me an umbrella when needed. Whenever I encountered any difficulties, they were always there to help, making me feel at home despite traveling alone. Because of the amazing service, I decided to extend my stay by two more nights, even canceling my next destination. Highly recommend this place!
