We were in Sagres July 12 - 16. Wish we stayed longer. The location is the best part. Really close to the beach, next to the supermarket and restaurants. Having supermarket next to your hotel is great. I think we tried all the cheeses from it and candies. The hotel staff was really nice. We had a premium room for 2 days and the view was astonishing. Small things that I really enjoyed - the hotel interior design. If was really comfy and cute. Rooms are good size, have a window and a small balcony (the premium one has a walkout patio with lounge chairs). Also, they had teas in the lobby and muscatel wine, fruit and cookies. Outside was a sitting area and you could enjoy evenings sitting out and having a drink or just chatting with family/friends. The walk to the restaurants was maybe 3 minutes (in direction to the supermarket). There was one we really enjoyed - on the rooftop. They had really great hamburgers and strawberry matcha. The view from the top was gorgeous and staff was really friendly. Also, one of the restaurants had a live music and karaoke (every Thursday, if I remember correctly). We had a car, so we also took a ride along the coast. It was nice trip to view all the landscape around and go to a secluded beach. Just want to mention - drive to the town goes through some rough parts and at first we thought that town was a dump. Not the best first impression. But area around the hotel is great. And a last note: bring warm clothes, the evening may be really cool due to the wind from the north.

Since it is 2025, would be nice to install USB charging outlets in rooms, so you would not need to bring adapters. Also, was not sure if water in the room was complimentary or you had to pay. We just enjoyed the water from the lobby.

Overall i like the 'vibe' of the place. Nice room, balcony. Staff was friendly. The sort of room I could iamine returning to with a laptop to spend a week writing or other form of remote working.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Azul Sagres. From the pre-trip communication, to the on-line check-in and self-check-in instructions, to the service on site, large room and breakfast, everything was of the highest quality. Our room (Lima) was huge, and had a sofa, king bed (two twins put together), tons of storage, a desk, mini-fridge, and balcony. Bed was comfortable and sheets/towels were white, clean and crisp. The air conditioned room was facing the street, but very quiet at night. There was a SPAR supermarket across the street. Breakfast had tons of choices. They staggered the entry of guests so the breakfast bar would not be crowded. The person at the front desk gave us excellent suggestions for dinner.

The large, comfortable room and bathroom; great breakfast with good choice of fresh fruit. The front of the hotel was very well maintained and very welcoming. We were able to park opposite the hotel, otherwise there is a free car very close by. I would like to thank Catherine, who was on reception when we arrived. A lady who was very friendly, polite, helpful, and made us feel welcome.

The bed was firmer than we prefer,but that's just us and not a complaint!!

Casa azul is perfect. It’s cozy, comfortable and very well equipped. The spotlessly clean room is a great place to rest after surf or long walks or a day at the beach. We were in Sagres on some of the windiest days & hence spent a considerable indoors and had a good time. The breakfast is complete. The people working here are very friendly and helpful. They even arranged for pasteurised eggs for me on their own as I am pregnant.

The staff was really friendly. The room very clean and has a nice design. The location is pretty close to the center. All the internet and TV services are working well, you can have access to the streaming platforms , you can even find an HDMI connector on the desktop. The bed is comfortable and the cleaning maintenance is doing a great job. The only thing i would complain is that the shower cabin is leaking sometimes. Overall a great experience.

Lovely studio apartment with everything that I needed in the middle of Sagres with dishwasher, good shower, comfortable bed and a nice outdoor area outside the studio. Shops like supermarket and pharmacy just a few steps away. Great beach a couple of minutes away, the same goes for restaurants which were close by. And then of course, there's the beauty of Sagres itself with walks and views just around the corner. And an added bonus, they have lovely well taken care of wild cats that greet you everywhere. Also, the host was most helpful when my booked Über didn't show up, within minutes he found me another transport to the airport.

Liked everything.

The room is very big, is super modern with amazing decoration, has a nice balcony and comfy beds. It is not the most central accommodation but still in a good, walkable distance to everything. A big parking lot is very close to the hotel.

Something was wrong with the electricity. No matter what button we pressed, the main light in the room turned back on after a few seconds. Sometimes even in the middle of the night, without touching any buttons. But that's a minor issue.

Everything! Rooms are stylish, clean, with very comfortable matraces - I slept soooo good! Stuff at front desk is so nice and welcoming, I felt with my friend like visiting good friends not being at hotel. Table with water, tea, coffee and even tasty muffins and candies 24 hours per day available. Breakfast is continental served as buffet with eggs, bacon, peanut butter, chia and many, many more tasty things that are above the average standard. Close to the beach, hiking paths, cute harbour and huge public parking just next to it. So far the best spot we stayed during our portugese road trip. Fully recommended.

None, all perfect.

The apartment was exactly as described, but even more cosy, easy to heat, comfortable and well located than I expected. It was a fantastic place to stay on my own as it felt 100% safe and all amenities were very easy to reach. The biggest surprise was the wide range of really beautiful clifftop walks and paths in all directions out of the front door. Really, dramatically beautiful landscape right there outside the door.

A little smell of drains... and no plug in the bath.
