The person receiving us was very friendly and working hard serving both the bar and reception. Our room and adjacent bathroom were super clean and there were extra bathrooms that we could use so we could all shower at the same time to get ready for dinner. Our laundry was done for a fee and there was plenty of space to hang it including a clothing rail with hangers in the room. The lockable storage space under the bunk beds were a great bonus and helped to keep the floor tidy and to move around the room. The beds were comfy with fresh towels and a curtain for privacy.

Calming, relaxed atmosphere, a bit quiet music sometimes, nice yoga lesson at 9.00 a.m.with a good teacher from.spain.in the morning. Most of the people try to be quiet in the 4 or 6 people's bedroom. I feel really fine here and prefere a hostel like this instead staying in a hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff at the reception, cleaning, yoga. I'm 57 and feel like home here, because travelling like this most of the time in my life. All young travellers are really ,,taff", friendly open minded and respectful with others. Open doors , noone take something from others, it's a kind of ,,trusting each other" atmosphere. Really nice here.

Good,.modern, clean showers. Some don't hat warm water early morning like 6.00a.m. unfortunately you loose to much cold water til you get a warm shower..it's a pity because of serious water problems in Portugal and so many tourists. So maybe the director can find a way that he don't loose clean water..nice working space, but people talk laud with their meetings online like they would be completely alone in an office in the coworking space..nothing for people.who can't concentrate well. Bit of you beg them to talk more quiet most try to handle it to work fine together.

I had a great stay at The Lighthouse! One of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed! Everything was super clean, the hostel has all the facilities you could need, and the bed was really comfy. The barbecue is such a nice touch, and the view from the rooftop is just stunning. And let’s not forget the breakfast absolutely delicious!!! What really makes the place special though is the team Giulia, Artur, Nico, and Gloria the manager are all amazing, and the volunteers do such a great job. They really make the whole experience unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

In my opinion and some other travellers this is the best hostel I've ever seen! It seems just like a little piece of paradise on earth with beautiful gardens to chill or exercise, a very nice pool and a new co-working space. There are activities like yoga, bbq and pizza night that is great to socialize and all the spaces are juat perfectly clean all the time. Staff is always kind and helpfull when you need them. I loved to spend somedays there last vacations in Sagres. I'll care many good memories from there. I'd say it needs at least 3-4 days to make sure you won't miss nothing!

Hostel is clean and well taken care of, co-working space and yard is beautiful you can also enjoy the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop.

If you are searching for more raw village experience will recommend to book something else. As hostel is very commercial they are upselling everything and have more beds then house itself can handle. So lines in the bathroom and kitchen should be expected.

The facilities of the hostel were great, such an amazing set up, all super modern and clean. The hostel itself makes an effort for social activities which would've been great (if everyone got involved). The room itself was a bit small but the beds had their own power points and curtains which made it much better

The people working there weren't very friendly, everyone kept to themselves, would say hi if you walked past, but nothing further than that. It was a very weird atmosphere. Wouldn't be great for solo travellers unless there happened to be a good group of guests staying, but potential to be so good! Also location wise is quite a far walk from all the main places!

The breakfast in the morning sun is amazing. The shared kitchen and the bathroom are super clean at any time of the day. Even though the hostel is fully booked there are enought showers and bathrooms available so you don’t have to wait at any time. If you want to relax after surf the pool cools you down while you have a beer at the bar. The staff and the guests made this holiday amazing! If you have to work remotely there are several quiet places with good wifi where you can have your business calls.

The lighthouse was great! Most importantly it was really clean! The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a relaxed atmosphere there and an easy place to hang out and rest between activities. They have yoga mats, a pool, bicycles and surf boards to use. It's near some backroads and countryside to run or cycle. Parking just outside. A light and two power sockets by my bunk and bunk curtains for privacy. Good storage underneath. A terrace on top for sunset or to exercise. I also liked that they didn't fill our dorm but spread us out between the rooms so it didn't feel crowded. I'll be happy to stay here again!

Amazing property. Really great socialize area by the pool with a bar, tables, lounging comfy stuff with free blankets. free yoga on roof in morning. great staff. clean facilities. the separated facilities are brand new! and best pizza i’ve ever had at all you can eat pizza. Also everyone was so social and get along really well.

the only thing i could recommend is putting up hooks on sides of bunks. would be a great addition. they’re is a bunch of empty space there.

Really helpful and friendly staff, free yoga on the rooftop was a great added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped for everything you need if cooking, as well as access to the BBQ in the evenings. Prices for breakfast and the bar in the evening are really reasonable. The hostel itself has a great atmosphere, with comfy shared spaces.

While distances are walkable, you are on foot, you will need to walk along the main road to get to any beaches. Better either to rent a bike or car to get around.
