The pool and kitchen are free breakfast are all great features of this place . I don’t surf - but from what I could tell there were also many surf lesson options . I lost my phone behind the bed and the staff were very helpful in assisting me to get it . Worth mentioning again - the pool was great ! And although the location is kind of at the end of town it is very close to the big supermarket where you can get anything you need and deli / or ready made food .

The bathrooms were very dirty . The air didn’t circulate very well in the women’s dorm and the window opened to the outside where many people Were up making quite a bit of noise at night .

Salt water pool, nice breakfast, washer and dryer, friendly staff. Good kitchen with decent selection of knives and kitchen tools.

A minor thing, the light switches in bunks - one controlled the personal light and one was the main light for the room. This sometimes means that the main light was turned on accidentally by other guests. Labelling the switches would stop people accidentally turning the big light on.

Nice, helpful and friendly staff, clean facilities. Good atmosphere and a social hostel, I had a great 3 weeks there and would love to return!

I was there during the winter and it could get quite cold in the dorms during the night. And the coffee served at the breakfast was not so strong, it was from a coffee machine. And it is quite a hike from the beaches Mareta and Tonel (15-20min)so it is to be considered if you are planning to surf without renting a car.

The room was very nice. Staff were awesome. Breakfast was really good.

There was a bit of a dispute between an older and younger person near the pool where our room was around midnight. The staff person did an excellent job de-escalating the situation and it was all settled amicably (ish) in about 15 min or so.

The pool area is great to relax by during the day, but do note they have a ‘pool party’ once a week I believe on Thursdays (I moved hostels to avoid the noise). Comfortable beds & a good coffee machine for brekky.

The breakfast is pretty light on options, the lights in the bathroom turn off about every 10 seconds if you’re standing still at the sink or something, there were ants all over the kitchen / in my dry food (pasta, oats) that was double wrapped in bags… This the only hostel this has happened at that I’ve been to.

A nice place in Sagres, all about surfing! I liked that they took sustainable practices seriously, saving water etc. The free breakfast was nice and there were plenty of options. As I visited during the low season, I couldn't try out their pool unfortunately. It gets pretty cold in the dorm room at night in the winter, so next time I'd ask if they have an extra blanket :P However this shouldn't be a problem at all most of the year.

Great spot to enjoy the southern tip of Portugal! The hostel has great lovely additional offers for surfing and other things at low prices. Breakfast was perfect for starting a day of sports or other outdoor activities. Amenities etc were clean, personnel were very friendly.

Evenings can be a little loud since there’s many activities going on there, not necessarily a downside.

Very organized. Secured perimeter with an electronic door. Pasteleria around the corner. The photos really correspond to how I found the place. Kitchen is equipped with an induction cooking surface. Bikes and surf equipment are available for rent.

The kitchen entrance is closed during the night hours. Perhaps it would be a good idea to close it until 6am and equip with guest cards access.

Not very far from town center, also big supermarket is close. Friendly staff. Not bad breakfast, considering that it's a hostel and it's price: meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables, cereals, jams, coffee, tea, vegetable milks. Near the bed you will have a drawer with a lock, which is rare in hostels. Comfy bed.

WiFi in Block A wasn't very strong, but good enough. Breakfast starts at 8:45, which is a bit late, especially if you will need early check out. Shower accessible with token, for 10 minutes, for me it was right enough time, but can assume if I would need to wash long hair, I don't know if this would be enough time... :) Administration says you can take more tokens at reception. For me this moment wasn't critical, just saying.

Big room with a small balcony and heating. Comfy beds. Staff accommodated our early check out, we were provided with lunch packages.

Breakfast at 8.45am is quite late and was too late for us. I would prefer a bookable breakfast option in that case that I can opt-out of. Reception opens at 8am, so I am unsure how check-in is supposed to work if you have to leave earlier.
