The staff here are very friendly. I was rewarded with a room upgrade when they realised I was a return visitor. The breakfast is always very good - especially if you have a sweet tooth, as the cake selection is excellent! My room was comfortable and spacious, equipped with everything I needed for a one-night stay. One of the three swimming pools was right outside my room. The location is a bit off the beaten track unless you have a vehicle. It was perfect for me as I was walking the Fisherman's Trail, which passes right past the rear entrance on to the coast path.

There is no onsite restaurant for lunch or evening meals. The nearest restaurant is a 15 minute walk away if you know where you are going. Some of the paths around the site do need a bit of maintenance, so be careful if exploring on foot.

This hotel really impressed with its lush vegetation and secluded apartments. The staff were all friedly, helpful and efficient and the breakfast was truly a feast to enjoy each morning. We chose not to drive but to enjoy the coast path instead. The hotel is well appointed between Burgau and Luz, with easy walks to both resorts. There is a collection of bars and a restaurant not far from the hotel along the road to Luz. After a long day in the sun there are three pools to chose from and a cosy bar area at the back of reception. Our room was very spacious with two large bathrooms and everything else we needed for a relaxing week in the Algarve.

Initially the layout of the complex is a bit confusing, but we soon got used to it. Paving along the paths was a bit crumbly in places, so you do need to watch your step, especially after dark.

The vibe was relaxed eco boho with modern facilities and outstanding breakfast and location for appreciation of stunning clifftop walkers.

Only minor but the Check-out Receptionist was very indifferent, which was at odds with all the other staff. I was 20 mins late checking out and I don't know whether it was a language issue but I apologised and stated how much I enjoyed my stay and likely to return and there was no positive affirmation. All other staff I encountered from the cleaners to servers and other Receptionists were extremely warm, courteous and delighted to engage and interested / open to discuss my experience at the Resort.

Beautiful location set high near cliffs with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Felt like a mini complete home - each “room” is effectively a 3 room villa. The breakfast was great with much choice. Very local in style. Several great restaurants and at least one notable restaurant within 10km. Very close to Luz which has a great beach, fantastic waterfront restaurants and a beautiful uncrowded beach. You would need a car to stay here and to get the most out of the area.

Would be nice to have a bedroom fan, in case of mosquitoes.

You feel like you're at a tropical resort or retreat. Very relaxing. Great spot to explore the Algarve region with Lagos, Sagres and Cape St. Vincent nearby. You have access from the property to the cliffs with amazing views and trails including, I believe, the Fisherman's trail. Staff was very kind and was able to accommodate us with GF bread. The buffet style breakfast was amazing with a huge amount of choice.

Though comfortable, the kitchenette rooms were a little small and dark and the vast grounds could use some gardening TLC.

I like that it felt like I was in Portugal , it had everything you need to cook or just chill at the village by the pool or on the soun loungers by the apartment - lovely scenic walk to the other towns to the beaches plus we rode our bikes but also easy to get Ubers if needed.

Really liked the apt we stayed in. Had a nice kitchenette. If I return to that area will definitely stay there again. Recommend stopping on the way there at a grocery store if you are getting an apt with a kitchen.

That we didn't spend more time there. Three nites wasn't enough to enjoy the full charm of the property and the area.

lovely pool areas, which were quiet enough at all times for everyone to enjoy. the rooms are spacious and clean and the gardens are lovely. the staff we’re also very friendly and helpful and the daily breakfast was great.

almost nothing available after 10:30am to eat, and bar drinks and snacks were very expensive. the rooms could have done with a few extras I.e. an iron, a safe etc. the fridge didn’t keep anything particularly cold. the location, although picturesque and peaceful, was an awkward distance from either Luz or Burgau, so I would recommend hiring a car/bikes, or be prepared to walk / pay a lot fortaxis.

Wonderful quiet location, the scenery is amazing and the breakfast was excellent. A fantastic place to rest. Very close to walking trails by the sea, the swimming pools are great and separated by zones. Everything was very clean and you can get a fantastic night sleep as the blinds block out every bit of light.

The rooms a little dated.

Too many bed covers, I like a duvet & the cushions are tooooo big & hard :s
