I really enjoyed my time at this property. It’s incredibly cozy and peaceful — such a rare find these days. Exactly what I needed to take a break from the noise and fast pace of city life. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing place to recharge, this is ideal. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a lovely terrace, a barbecue area, and a swimming pool. I was lucky with the weather — warm but not too hot. On very hot days, an air conditioner might be useful, though I didn’t need it during my visit. The location is fantastic: close to shops, restaurants, and stunning beaches around Luz and Lagos. Communication with the host was smooth, and all instructions were clear and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located getaway!

Everything was great

Very cozy little cottage, we loved the covered terrace under the vines, the amazing garden and swimmingpool, and the quiet location on the outskirts of the Village. Would definitely stay here again :)

The ants in the kitchen and the bedroom, coming up from cracks in the floor, and in the wall near the coffee machine. But we knew this could happen based on other reviews, and it's expected when living in a garden.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was wonderfully peaceful, yet perfectly central for exploring the area and taking different trips. The accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped, making it easy to feel at home

While the bed was a bit narrow for us, it didn’t detract from our overall experience. We’d love to come back again!

Lovely quiet location, gardens beautifully looked after, super comfortable bed, clean spacious apartment, ample kitchen, 20 minute walk into luz, or 5minutes to bus stop.

Would love to come back, but prices seem to have gone up x3. Kitchen very tired but did the job, ideally could do with a washing machine, especially as prices have gone up so much for 2025, better equipped apartments around for less money

This place was wonderful. The accommodation itself was totally adequate - living area, large bedroom, well stocked kitchen. The outside terrace was lovely and got the afternoon sun. We did use the pool which was nice. We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. We would describe it as charming and we loved it. We are already saying we would come back.

Can not come up with one negative

This was our second stay at Casa Da Montanha, this time in the smaller studio apartment. As expected it was wonderful. Charming property in an excellent location a short walk away from Luz. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and visit to family living nearby.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. It is lovely

Very cozy place in amazing location. It has everything and more then you nees for your stay: every type of glasses, dishes and household necessities, air condiniotier, amazing room lighting, bluetooth audio set, and overall it seems like every little detail was thought of. Very clean. Totally recommend, would love to return here someday<3

Carport for parking the car underneath. Everything is forseen in the studio. Enough drawers and storage capabilities for a small studio. Large swimming pool.

The humidity in the room and lack of bathroom ventilation. Double bed but separate 1 person blankets is a bit weird. Thin pillows.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and mindful equipped with everything needed. The kitchen provides a great opportunity to prepare food: it's spacious and well-equipped. The garden is well-maintained, with lots of trees, plants and a lawn. With the pool it's is a great space to hang out. The arrangement of the different apartments allows for a high level of privacy. There is a self check-in and check-out, but a very friendly online contact with the owner.

The bed mattresses were a bit too soft for my taste, but still ok. The outdoor furniture might deserve some maintenance. Also here: not a big issue.

Everything was perfect. A quiet and lovely place to relax. The check in was very easy and the communication very friendly and fast.
