Lovely and quiet and restful. Hotel spotless inside and out. Helpful staff. Spacious rooms and balcony. Cleaners always smiling and very polite. Lots of fruit for breakfast and gluten free rolls. Although some bread would have been nice.

No rail to hold to get into the pool and out. Would have used pool more I am 80 this year. Also could not use the jacuzzi for the same reason. Shame no proper bar to sit in the evening. Only eat dinner once as really the food was a let down. Dining room was very cold. No Need for the air con to be on in the evening. Lot of people complained. Yes will be back. Been visiting Luz for over 40 years.

The hotel was very clean. The room was cleaned daily. Our room had a sea view. It was beautiful. There were sun loungers on our terrace where you could sunbathe. There were also tables and chairs in the shade. The room was lovely and spacious. The beds were firm, but I liked that. We were half board, so we had breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was lovely, with a variety of cooked food, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. The dinner was Al la carte, and the options were lovely. There wasn't a meal I was disappointed with. I used the gym, which was really good. The opening times were 10am to 7pm. The health suite and indoor pool were amazing. It was all clean and I really enjoyed using it. I also had some treatments and the staff were brilliant. The location is really good. You have to walk up a hill, but that didn't bother me.

The only issue we had was with accessing water in the hotel at times. I am going through cancer treatment and I felt I couldn't use the water in the bathroom because I couldn't get it cold enough (I was worried it was coming from a heated tank) so I was concerned I could get ill. There was some water at reception, but none in the gym or health suite. While in the restaurant I was given water. I asked a staff member at the restaurant if it was ok to fill my water bottle so I could go to the gym . I felt she got snippy and said "we sell water". That was the only staff member I had an issue with. The water thing as a whole is minor and for some, it wouldn't be an issue. I loved staying in the hotel and would be back in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was very good, fresh pastries and toast, yogurt and fruit and lots of savoury options. The herby tomatoes were so delicious! Coffee was from a machine but not bad. The hotel had beautiful views to the sea and palm trees, the spa is extremely nice and the balcony was a lovely sun trap even in February. Useful to have a little fridge and kettle in the room.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the beach and restaurants etc, no big deal but the hill is pretty hard work with a pushchair and after a meal out! There were some ants in the bedroom, and it didn’t seem to be that well swept but apart from that was very clean and comfortable. There’s no kids pool, again no big deal as the beach is so nice.

This hotel had a complete refurbishment in 2024 so it felt new when we stayed. It's been very tastefully done out. Everywhere is sparkling clean with a modern feel. We had a suite room, there is lots of space, with a great balcony area, and good sized bathroom. The double bed was a standard size which was comfortable. The room had a fridge, coffee machine and bottled water. The spa area is lovely, this area opens at 10am. Though the gym was open whenever. As were the outdoor pools. The weather was averaging around 26/27 degrees for our stay and the outdoor pool was refreshing though definitely fine for a pre breakfast swim. Loads of choices at breakfast. Its buffet style with hot and cold food. I've never tasted roasted tomato's so good! Plenty of pastries and the coffee is good. We didn't eat an evening meal here. Albeit lunch in the outdoor bar was very nice. This hotel is about 10 mins walk down the hill to the beachside, there are shops, restaurants. Though do look further than the restaurants along the front, for example, a restaurant called Latitude is extremely good and its not directly on the front. If I come back to this area, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. It's lovely and the staff are English speaking and super helpful.

Nothing not to like. This hotel has everything for a great stay.

Very close walk to everything. This property has hot tub, steam room, sauna, indoor and outdoor pools. Food was also very good

The facilities in which I booked this hotel were in not working order. The hotel tub wasn’t working properly and wasn’t hot at all. The steam room was lovely however only worked half the time and the other time they had workers banging around inside the walls which tbh wasn’t very relaxing. This is where the staff and their customer service are lacking. The beds and pillows are terrible. However if you ask for a feather bed they will put one on for you which makes a huge difference.

The hotel is nice renovated, the pool area is very clean, same the welness. The gym is nice, they could put some more weights, but still, you are able to do a proper training session. Dry Sauna is really good, have proper oven which heat it up very fast. "Cold mist" is a joke, but you can always cool down in swimming pool or regular shower. The hotel is a quick walk or 3 euro Uber ride from the beach. In my opinion the View is spectacular, breathtaking, best part of the stay. I could sit on the balcony most of my stay. Food is nothing special, i end up with sandwich with cheese and croissant with jam for breakfast. I would stay again in the hotel, just i would buy 6pack of water before arrival.

The hotel didn't provide water. You can get one complimentary bottle at the arrival, and that's all. In the welness area, same situation. It's crazy that after a sauna session, you can't get water anywhere. Staff seems nice, but there are a couple of bad apples that destroyed the mood of everyone. Girls and guy at the reception were nice, very helpful but restaurant staff seems strange and stressed. Massages are a bit too expensive. In the town you can find for half of their price. In my opinion if they would put lower prices more people would try it.

We arrived at 18:15 and had to wait at the reception untill we got the key to our room. Because of this we could not enter the pool/spa area anymore, as these rooms close at 19:00. This also goes for the pool. I think it was a bummer for us, because we payed extra for this hotel especially because of the facilities, but unfortunately they close very early. Nevertheless, all facilities are very nice.

That the closing time of the facilities was very early and that the swimming pool outside was freezing cold. You also had to wear a headband to go into the swimmingpool, which we absolutely didn't like. You need to buy one at the hotel to use the small indoor pool. We eventually didnt use this pool, because there were too many in their. We hoped the pool outside would be a little warm, since the ocean was freezing cold, but the pool inside was the only one that was warm. The night that we arrived, another family arrived aswell next to our hotelroom. They came later in the night and we could hear them all the time. The kids were loud and going inside and out. We believe this hotel should be an adult only hotel. Otherwise there is no relaxing here.

I have stayed at this hotel before and was so pleased to find that along with the beautiful new spa, the character and friendliness haven't changed at all. It's a small, quiet hotel in a lovely spot with amazing sea views and great facilities. My room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The pool bar food and drink offering have improved from my last visit and the sun loungers and parasols are a vast improvement. From the greeting on arrival in the early hours of the morning to checking out, every member of staff I encountered was friendly, authentic and helpful. Can't wait to return again.

It would be really helpful to have a clothes airer back on the balcony for wet swimming gear and towels.

The property was beautiful and it was pristine. The facilities were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated on a hill requiring a walk of around 5 to 10 minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants which is fine if you don’t mind the effort to get back again in the heat. The property itself was faultless.

The cleaning staff and restaurant staff were amazing! So friendly, helpful and understanding (with our small baby).

The gray haired woman working the reception desk during the day was not friendly. Maybe she had a bad day (for the week we were there). The rest of the staff was amazing! The breakfast could be better, some more fresh vegetables. If you’re here for more than two days (we stayed a week), you may get bored with the food.
