-My apartment 's location directly on the oceanfront. It was spectacular. -Overall, a very lovely place: clean, well appointed, comfortable. -Staff were thoughtful and brought me water (no power, see note below) and a loaf of bread the next morning.

It was hard to enjoy this special place for 2 reasons: 1) I happened to stay there the day power went out for all of Portugal and 2)I was exhausted when I arrived from walkung a long distance on the Rota Vicentina and xould not enjoy the comfort of a warm shower.

I loved our apartment felt very private with our own little back garden with grass and patio. One pool was really close by and we had virtually to ourselves, the other pool had stunning views. The cafe was very friendly and we immediately felt at home. We also unexpectedly had freshly baked bread delivered to our door each morning! A really lovely touch.

The mattress in our room was uncomfortable (my partner didn't notice though). I didn't complain though so I'm sure they would have sorted it if I had.

Water heating didn’t work properly, had to take cold shower :( pool working only 11-18 so means you have no chance to use it if you stay for one night only and even after 11 it was closed

Very spacious, two bathroom and two bedrooms were exactly what we needed, the location was convenient to local stores and points of interest.Waking up in the morning to see the ocean right out of the windows.

The bedroom pillows were not comfortable but I covered two cushions with a pillowcase and it worked out for me.

Helpfull und welcoming staff.

There was no password for wifi in the room, staff tried to find the right one in the reception. Eventually got one password, but it was most likely from the other room, because it was working only outside. Not a big deal for a short one-night stay, for longer time might get problematic.

Picturesque resort, amazing pool & views. Property traditional, functional, very clean, (cleaned daily, sheets/ towels changed every two days). Fresh bread delivered daily. Staff were lovely and made sure we had a great stay.

Air con would have been good overnight.

This was our second visit to Belver Porto Dona Maria. This time we chose a garden view instead of an ocean view which was lovely. It was so quiet and beautiful. They gave us a bigger apartment than we booked and just closed off the other two bedrooms. The apartment was very spacious and quiet.

It would be nice to have some relaxing sunbeds for outdoor furniture instead of just a table and chairs which were a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast we had the last time we stayed there was not something you'd miss so I'd suggest to make use of the small kitchen ans enjoy your own breakfast on your terrace.

The WiFi didn’t work for the first two days but then it got fixed by the super friendly staff. The bed could be more comfortable.

Our Villa was with central pool view and sea view with balcony, very good. Villa´s living room is well decorated

Kitchen needs an upgrade along with toilets

Separate apartment which was nice as picked up groceries & self catered on our balcony looking down to sea. Very private with large pool area.

The door locked us out without a key or phone so lucky to find someone to give us another key after 8pm! No internet available - not crucial for a short stay but would be for business.
