I loved everything about this place! Our room, a suite, was very big and spotless. The breakfast they serve is very good. The position is excellent: you can easily reach it on foot from the train station, it's a two-minute from the pretty seafront. There's a great fish restaurant at the end of the street where we ended up having our four dinners in Portimao. Best perk ever was VITOR! The manager of the guest house is simply amazing. He did his utmost to make our stay pleasant and unforgettable!

We recently stayed at NDS Prestige Guest House, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location was one of the biggest highlights—it was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from key attractions and public transportation. Whether you’re in town for sightseeing or business, the proximity to everything makes it a perfect choice for travelers who want to be in the center of it all. The cleanliness of the guest house also stood out. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that great care is taken to keep the place spotless. The room, bathroom, and common areas were all exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It gave off a fresh and comfortable vibe that immediately made me feel at ease. Parking was another big plus. Finding easy and reliable parking in busy areas can often be a headache, but NDS Prestige Guest House made it simple. There was ample space, and the process was smooth, which took away a lot of the stress that sometimes comes with city stays. Breakfast each morning was a pleasant surprise. It was well-prepared, offered a good variety, and provided a satisfying start to the day. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or more filling, the breakfast options catered to different preferences without feeling overdone. The room itself was spacious and comfortable—definitely more generous than what you might expect for the price. There was plenty of space to unpack, relax, and feel at home. It struck a great balance between cozy and functional, making it ideal for both short and longer stays. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the manager. Communication was excellent throughout the entire booking and stay process. The manager was responsive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had what they needed. It’s rare to find that level of personalized service these days, and it really added to the overall positive impression.

The location is a short taxi ride from the train station. There is a water view from the street and several restaurants and at least one grocery store close by. The owner was there in person to greet us and made himself available should we have any questions or requests. This personal touch was most welcome. It’s rare now in my experience for someone to take the time. I found the room most comfortable and the whole place shows the care that has been taken to make it attractive. Excellent location close to waterfront and bus stops to nearby towns on the Algarve. (Note: long-distance bus station and train station are farther from the town, a short taxi ride away). Friendly staff, nice clean room. We had the largest room downstairs. Other rooms were smaller. Refrigerator and complimentary water provided. Portimao is a good place to stay if you depend on public transportation. Frequent buses to Carvoeiro, Alvor, Silves, Lagos, Faro, Ferragudo, etc. and boat trips along the coast to Benagil Cave and other locales. Close to Praia da Rocha and Praia do Vau, the latter easily accessible.

Impression from photos was it was closer to the river. Roof terrace to nothing. Car park a fair walk away

- Very helpful manager, responded to our needs very quickly. - Quiet guest house with only 6 rooms. - Room very clean, good size with safe. - Beautiful roof top terrace. - Location close to harbour front.

- There was a problem with water leaking from the shower after every use. I think the guest house knows about this cause they put mats outside the shower and also outside the bathroom. I reported the issue to the manager but it seems there is nothing he can do. - On our first night, there was no hot water. Contacted the manager by whatsapp (no reception after 5 pm) and he quickly came to fix the problem. Had to wait for one hour until we get hot water, not so pleasant when it's already late at night. They use a storage system with 6 rooms sharing 750L of hot water, so if some guests used more than they should have, then you have to wait for the water to heat up again.

Location is amazing, downtown, all restaurants and bars are walking distance. Room is comfortable. The person working in reception desk is super nice and helpful, was always answering questions and helping with everything. Breakfast is fantastic! Really recommend this place

Reception was not open between 12 and 16h which was inconvenient as we got to Portimão in that window of time

Fantastic location, Vitor the hotel manager was very attentive and made us feel like we had a second home in Portimao! The place is immaculate and we were able to use the lounge area like our living room.

The back alley is a little sketch, but the area is fantastic.

Nothing worth it a mention

Above and beyond customer service experience! Me and my friend had a long flight from the USA to Portugal and we did not make it to Portimao until 8pm. Only when we got to the hotel we realized that check-in closed at 7pm. There was no one at the desk to help us and our reservation was already cancelled since we were late per the policy. We called the phone number they have at the door to seek for help. Once management Mr. Nuno got to know about our situation he left his family and friends in the middle of dinner and went out his way to come to NDS Prestige hotel and set up our room after hours. I must say Mr. Nuno went above and beyond our expectations! I am really happy to have picked this hotel for our stay! Thank you!
