My husband, myself and our 13 yr old stayed in the studio which was ideal. It is a self contained space with our own kitchen and bathroom. The vibe was laid back surfer/young chilled. The staff were very friendly. We loved the decor-rustic beach house style. We would definitely stay again if we could have the studio. We also booked into snorkelling on boat trip. Easy access to beach. We had a car but you could easily walk to beach and shops.

Bathroom was a bit cramped but it was fine for us.

Our stay at the travel / diver hostel's studio was overall very convenient and tailored to our needs. The mezzanine with comfortable mattress-beds provided a cozy and restful sleep experience. The small kitchen, equipped with basic cooking utensils, allowed us to prepare simple meals, adding a practical touch to our stay. The location was excellent, being walking distance from the seaside, a supermarket, and restaurants, situated at the edge of the town. One of the highlights was the wooden deck in front of the studio, complete with a table, creating a perfect setting for enjoying meals outdoors. The shared part of the hostel, which we didn't eccessively use during our stay, looked also friendly and cosy.

The studio didn't smell as fresh as expected, likely due to dampness in the humid time of the year. It could greatly benefit from improved ventilation to address this issue.

This was one of my favourite hostels I’ve ever stayed in in the almost 20 years I’ve been backpacking. It’s one of those places that feels like a home. The attention to detail in the decor is fantastic. There’s a large living room, and the place just invites you to socialise and hang out together, without becoming a party hostel. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. Being here made me feel at home and I would really like to come back for a diving course. Thank you all so much :)

There were a lot of mosquitos. Like a LOT LOT! You have absolutely zero chance of getting any sleep without mosquito repellent, and even then they’ll liep low-key bugging you. For the type of accommodation/ the amount of people staying, a separate toilet would’ve been nice. It wasn’t a problem though, and it’s very doable as long as everyone is considerate of each other and doesn’t lock themselves into the bathroom for an eternity.

I came to Sagres to dive with Pura Vida and can be nervous diving with new people so it was great to spend time with instructors and other divers before (and after) diving. The hostel is perfect for my holiday lifestyle- very close to the beach with lots of tracks to run along the coast, easy access to the centre, lots of spaces to relax and a well-equipped kitchen. Dorms are well done with curtains for privacy, electrical point and light for each bed and a locker with hangers and drawers each too. Huge choice of common areas and useful info about diving, hiking and walking in the area.

I initially planned to stay for only two days but ended up extending my stay because of the amazing atmosphere! The open common room with the fire place and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and sharing meals. Most of the other guests were super friendly and many stories were shared during my time. The staff was also super helpful and made sure everyone felt at home.

Lovely staff, with the dive lessons and ixvursions right from the property! Nice set up in the little cottage accommodation we rented:) Loved it!

Wish it had been directly on the beach but it was only a short walk to one of two close by beaches and from the great of the village and working harbour :)

Very nice, cosy house where you feel like at your home. I was in a mixed dormitory, nice and clean, comfortable bed. There are only two toilets but it was not a problem, the crowd is pretty selected, the majority are surfers or walkers. The position is good to explore around, there are amazing beaches facing cliffs nearby. A must see

only two 4-bed-dorms plus 1 apartment - very cozy, very clean - small supermarket is a 7 minute walk away - very relaxed atmosphere

the pictures from a guest which show curtains on the beds aren't recent, there aren't any curtains - no lockers - the house, the rooms are always open so it lacks a bit of security

Very convenient location if you are traveling around Rota Vicentina. Friendly atmosphere, the kitchen has everything. Great Lavazza for 50 cents and free tea! I met interesting people there and had a great rest after the 40 km walk and was able to continue the next day. But I regret not staying one more night to explore the lighthouse and both capes easily.

what a place really nice 👍 in a very good location. so clean and tidy lots of space, good bathroom kitchen with all you need to cook a lovely meal. outside area are really nice to chill read a book have a nice drink 🥤 lots of different beaches with in walking distance don’t miss sunset. awesome 👏 diving center. Thy know the best site to dive, I was lucky enough to do 5 dives with Julia very kind and full of joy also Gonzalo a funny 😆 lad and helpful. over all you will never regret staying here was their for five wonderful days.
