This is a modern hotel perfectly located on the peninsular, with a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet with a spectacular view from the balcony. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. Dinner was good in the adjoining Italian restaurant as was the complementary breakfast in the morning. We were able to park for free, right outside the hotel.

The hotel was perfect, but we visited in May 2025 when the square outside the hotel was being completely re-laid. The only way to access the hotel by car was from a side lane from the parking lot for the fort. It was easy once we found it.

Lovely thoughtfully presented little boutique accomodation. Fantastc location with picture perfect garden leading onto a path taking you straight onto beautiful soft sandy sheltered bay Very comfy beds, tastefully decorated bedroom which was spotlessly clean. Frontage on a little square with family run restaurants where we found the food to be delicious, locally sourced ingredients with tastes for everyone. Would absolutely go back, delightful find! Spent the late afternoon sitting watching the sunset in the hotub which finished off a wonderful holiday. This place is most definately boutique, so unique and individual, with lots of special touches.

Amazing boutique hotel that is essentially beachside in Sagres. I stayed here for three nights while hiking Fisherman's Trail in Feb 2025 and it was absolutely worth it. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, included breakfast downstairs esch morning was quite nice. The room was fantastic, balcony overlooked the ocean and the grounds which were also lovely. Very comfortable bed, good wifi, good hot water pressure in the shower. Amazing location by the beach, short walk to a chiringuito bar as well, and direct access to a small hiking trail as well. 10/10, absolutely recommended and I would stay here again.

The jacuzzi was nice but did not really get to a hot enough temperature. In summer season it would probably be fine though.

This was a perfect location with a scenic view of the water. Close to restaurants and the start of the hiking path. A beautiful deck made me wish I would have booked for a longer stay. The room, restaurant and staff were all friendly and fantastic. This is a place worth booking and enjoying! Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the sun or shade. This is a location that ought to be a kept as the best secret ever!!

Nope- nice decor and spacious room. Lived it!

Location is perfect overlooking a beautiful beach down below. Hot tub is great with beautiful stars overhead. Concierge placed us in one of the two ground floor rooms which was too loud (can hear everyone coming in and out; probably fine if you’re a heavy sleeper) but he kindly moved us to a second floor room and we slept great. Breakfast was top notch and can eat outside even in the “winter”. Sagres has such a great vibe and this place was no exception.

Would have been annoyed if the place was fully booked and we had to sleep in one of those two ground floor units only a few feet from reception.

Very new property, clean and well maintained, comfortable room with mini bar and a nice shower. Big balcony facing Mareta beach! There is a Jacuzzi and access to a heated pool nearby. They clean the room and change towels everyday and breakfast is excellent.

No elevator 😕, if you bring big bags getting them up and down could be hard.

After a few weeks travelling and having apartments with large balconies it was a bit of a shock to end up in a room with only an opening Juliet balcony. When we got settled and explored the hotel and grounds more it was not an issue (note this was a budget room, other rooms have sea views and balconies) There was a lovely Continental breakfasts in the morning and no rush to move us on. For this basic room it’s a good night stay to explore the town, it will a bit cramped if it’s bad weather and you’re there for longer.

We had to ask for a kettle, there were no facilities to make tea in our room. No cups supplied.

Friendly staff excellent location to the beach great views and sagres has a lovely vibe with great bars near by the chiringuito was lovely and the laundry lounge with live music and amazing yoga twice a day lots of helpful knowledge for surfing if needed from staff at the laundry lounge we loved sagres.

Very convenient location for walking to beaches and restaurants. We stayed in the economy room with bunk beds, which was spacious enough and had its own ensuite bathroom. The room was comfortable and very clean, the common areas (both indoor and outdoors) were a bonus. The breakfast is worth all of the hype, as mentioned in previous reviews. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had included with accommodation after two weeks in Portugal.

Wonderful place with a comfortable bed and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean and the rocks—a peaceful place to unwind and do some work. The jacuzzi was a real treat after hiking the Fisherman’s Trail, and the breakfast was extensive and well-prepared. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the stay extra special. Even decided to stay an extra night - just to relax and explore Sagres a bit more.
