The location is fantastic and really close to beach. Staff Were great at reception and super helpful, breakfast had good selection. Room was big and plenty space.

Paid extra for a sea view which the balcony was lovely n cute but a roof top just overcoming the line of the sea isn't quite a Seaview. Could maybe use TLC in the room but fine overall. Unfortunately the shower curtain was hanging over the bath, which was my own fault and didn't see how much water was on the floor from it and took a slip in the bathroom.

The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure and there was lots of hot water. Breakfast was tasty and had good variety. The location was excellent, steps from the beach and most of the good restaurants in Santa Cruz.

The WiFi was flaky and unreliable. Also, the hotel was close to a public square which had live music on weekends, which was quite loud.

Santa Cruz is a small town with beautiful beaches and very interestingly landscaped promenades, stops and rest areas right on the rocks around the sea. We were there in late February so the town was almost empty, but the views of the beaches and sea were amazing. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the sea, breakfast adequate, staff friendly, parking for the car in the car park directly behind the hotel.

The location is central to everything and could not be better. There are many local shops and restaurants and the beach is less than 5 minutes walking. The breakfast is very good with several options. Every member of staff at the hotel went above and beyond and made this stay truly exceptional. They checked in on their guests as they passed through reception, gave recommendations and local knowledge, assisted with bookings and were overall just very kind! The room comes with air conditioning as standard and worked very well.

Due to the central location, the town can be noisy in the evenings - certainly not a deal breaker though! The beds are a bit firm, but I was still able to sleep well through the nights.

It was a great hotel with great people and a very good breakfast. It is so close to the beach, you simply don't get tired, you have great restaurants one minute away and great shops, including a supermarket and ATM machines. It was a wonderful stay and we also had a room with a view of the ocean. I stayed here with my son and we will always come back to enjoy Santa Cruz at this hotel. We simply loved it and miss it already. I also recommend visiting Santa Cruz in October, November, December, January, February, March, and April when the tourists are gone and the place seems like pure paradise only for the happiness of your eyes.

What an excellent stay! The room is what I would call a "standard" hotel room. It has a balcony which is nice, bed was comfortable, good pillows (for us, as we don't like them too big!). The included breakfast is basic but adequate, the staff (particularly the gentleman who checked us in) were wonderful. And to to it off there was an amazing drummer band parade on the street right outside our room - honestly the best surprise ever and we had the very best view of it imaginable!! What a highlight

Nothing not to like - a mentioned above the hotel is your basic standard hotel, nothing really special, a bit dated but great value when considering the amazing location and inclusions - oh and parking was available on site too, just behind the property.

The hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone of Santa Cruz a few hundred meters from the Sea. Despite the hotel is past its best years, it is kept in quite good shape and I liked the atmosphere of it. I have to point out the personnel! Exceptionally kind, helpful and attentive. The receptionist even asked us about our favourite TV channel, when sitting in the lobby. Parking is available either in the hotel's own courtyard, yet there was enough free space on the street. The receptionist said "the village is easy" - which perfectly expresses the atmosphere.

One notices details like a not well-fixed wall outlet, and replacing the silicone sealing of the shower would definitely improve the impression. However, the lighting in the room was really weak, which did not bother us much, since we stayed for one night only. The breakfast was rather basic and could include a wider variety for the price.

Staff, everyone encountered, is exceptionally friendly & helpful. Due to size of the facility all general area’s and breakfast buffet area huge and able to host very large groups comfortably.

Plumbing is aged, water pressure in bedroom bath was low, the shower & sink couldn’t run water at same time.

The rooms were variable. The first room they put us in had very hard beds and was very small. They offered us a different room with more space and softer bed after we said we wanted to leave because of the quality of the room. They did their best and we appreciate that.

The location was great very close the restaurants and easy access to the beach. The breakfast was very nice. Fresh fruit and good coffee. There was staff available 24 hours a day. Room was clean and the shower was nice and hot.

Bed was a bit firm but still comfortable.
