Lovely rural accommodation in a beautiful location on farm with animals. We were upgraded from a double room to a studio, which has been done up very nicely and we appreciated the upgrade. You can park right in front and have your own entrance directly from parking with small patio overlooking back of the property. It’s not a big hotel, smaller than expected and so you cannot just walk in to restaurant/bar at the spur of the moment and order anything (this is off season not sure other times) need to plan and book ahead.

Pillows and curtains need upgrade, really need some black out curtains as gets very bright in the morning. The major issue however is the water pressure, so weak it is difficult to shower. Although the quality of breakfast items was very good, the variety is limited and disappointing for a 4star place.

We liked everything. The property itself is very unique: it has very interesting design, multiple options where exactly to stay, it has eucaliptus grove on the territory. In addition to that they have a farm with deer, llamas, alpacas, sheep, ponies, horses. All the animals look healthy and happy. Hotel staff was very friendly and always trying to help. When we were checking in, we received the free upgrade of the room, totally loved it. The room itself has all the amenities listed on the site. It is very clean, cozy and stylish. The hotel has the free parking for guests with plenty of space.

Outstanding staff and location. Property is very well taken care of. The farm-feeling with all the animals is great. So are the outsdoor green areas and pool side. Cozy studios with an incredebly relaxing mood. Proxikity to the beach is a huge plus. Food was delicious, quality ingredients including salads from the garden. Pets are allowed - major plus! A place to return.

Too many screaming kids around (adults-only area would be welcome). Restaurant requires an advanced booking incluing what to eat, which is not so pleasant. Pet daily fee is too expensive.

An amazingly relaxing holiday destination with everything you could ever want and a touch of luxury. Towns to visit are close by, but just relaxing in the hotel is an experience in itself. There are animals, bikes to borrow, tennis and paddle among others. Beaches are just a short walk away. What makes the place truly special however is the staff. They are beyond amazing and really take care of you. Food was among the tastiest we've had in Portugal and that is saying a lot. We could not be happier and look forward to returning.

There were mosquitos during the night but that's something the hotel can't really change.

The property is on a stunning location next to the ocean, with everything you could possibly need. Including a restaurant with fabulous staff and wonderful food. The animals in their enclosures around the property are so well taken care of and a joy to visit and photograph! We didn’t take advantage of the pool as December is a bit too cold for us, but it is beautiful and quite large. The paddle tennis courts also look to be in excellent condition and having rackets and balls to borrow is a huge plus.

Beautiful location, pool, garden, animals, sea views. A good option for Fisherman's Trail trekkers, especially when you prefer staying in nature rather than in towns and villages. Limited dinner options are available (reservation required). Nice, spaceous rooms (we were even offered a free upgrade).

There was a larger Czech group staying there as well who were rather loud at times, but that's not something we can blame the hotel for, and indeed the friendly staff were very apologetic about it, and did their best to accommodate us as well as possible, for example seating us well away from the group at dinner and breakfast.

Excellent breakfast. A quiet place for morning time not only for families with children. The surrounding area is full of places to explore. Porto Covo is a quaint little town. The surrounding beaches are amazing. The whole coast of the Costa Vicentina is amazing. Praia das Furnas in Vila Nova de Milfontes is simply beautiful with great ebb and flow. We will definitely be back here soon to enjoy the tranquility of the Portuguese coast.

The environment was clean, beautiful, sustainable and quiet. I love all animals and so hearing livestock sounds and birds is very joyful, and we got to hear animals a lot. The gardens, animals, forest were all beautiful and it was a 20 minute walk to a terrific but rocky beach. So so beautiful and clean. Good small restaurants quite nearby, but the dinner served at their restaurant was superb. Breakfast was amazing, plentiful and varied. Snacks during the day--get tuna toast sandwiches!!!--were a nice touch. Staff just so nice, but boy must they be working all of the time, as the staff is small. Need a car, I would say, to get there, but it is so relaxing that there is not much of a reason to leave [ever!]. The pool and seating are all gorgeous, there is sports equipment and bikes to use for free. One can ride horses, though we did not. They even loaned us a little beach umbrella to use! The first night there was a very obnoxious 'hen party' of some people from the UK and US. They were unbelievably rude, but luckily toned it down the next day and then were gone. Oh, and the interior of the suite was terrific. Too much good to say but a beautiful stripped down aesthetic which really appealed. Super comfy bed! Thank you to Margareta, who managed everything!

Nothing. I have not really been to a place like this before. A sort of nano-resort. So it is posh but understated, and of course that means that there is not a lot of diversity of customers. But for a few days, a welcome recharge from the real world.

What a beautiful property. The country setting with a view of the ocean in the distance was gorgeous. We were on a bike trip and only stayed one night unfortunately. We were able to walk into town and got Thai food to take back which was so delicious and a relaxing eve after a strenuous cycling day. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Loved all the peacocks greeting us.

Small „agroturismo” style hotel, cosy and with all the comforts, including great onsite restaurant. Excellent stuff. Swimming pool and attractions on site and around. 5 min walk to the beach. Animals friendly.

Like it all, but be prepared for small kids present hence noises and pool full of kids.
