Great value for money. Clean, comfy, homely, and Mario and Rute really make you feel at home. I experienced the daunting black-out of April 2025 there, and Mario and Rute were very reassuring and calm. They have a range of useful books and pamphlets about the area/activities in the area, and you can rent bikes etc. from them. Watch the sunset from the balcony :) Perfectly placed to walk the Costa Vicentina- the stretch south of Porto Covo is particularly magical- ask Mario for the scenic/short bicycle route to get there through the orchards! The location isn't served by public transport, but if you have a car or catch a taxi, it's only 15 mins or so from Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. I didn't see the hosts or other guests but they were all very friendly. If you're looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is the place :)

Adorable place with free parking, water from the local natural water source, cozy facilities where you instantly feel home and are treated like family. The staff is STELLAR and literally sorted out any problem we came across, accommodating for earlier check-in, later check out and even shuttle service. Can highly recommend.

Getting there by car can be tricky (google maps kept sending us to very bad roads), ask the staff for clear guidance before you go to avoid getting lost! :)

Very quiet rural location. On a bicycle using Google Maps it was a bit difficult to get there. Driving it would be no problem. A nice old farmhouse I would guess. Quite large with nice common areas inside and out. Nice kitchen. Old but functional and comfortable.

Could have used a top sheet on the bed. Could have had a better fan in the bedroom.

The owners, Mário and Rute, are extremely nice and friendly, and very invested in making your stay as pleasent as possible. The rooms are very clean and the common kitchen/living room and the toilettes as well. The hotel is extremely peaceful as there are mostly fields in the surroundings. You can cook or prepare light dishes, and use the kitchen as your own. In the balcony you can watch the beautiful sunset everyday. By night, it's very silent and enjoyable in the garden, and the starry sky is to die for.

It is a nice place for hikers and surfers and enjoying the beautiful seaside landscape of Portugal!

The road to the property after leaving main road is awful for driving. I believe it is not the fault of the hotel and they deserve better work from the government.

The owner Mario is very kind, friendly and helpful. The guest kitchen has everything you need and you are in the middle of the portugese country side. Food should be brought by yourself. Alternatively, they have a small supply cabin from which you can buy simple items, e.g., pasta, pesto, tea bag, ... . Great place to enjoy peace and quiet!

Very comfortable, spotless bedroom with a shared bathroom....everything squeaky clean. Host was super nice and welcoming. Gabe me excellent suggestion for the are and for my trip. Very close to the beach!! Beautiful sunset! Fantastic stay at an excellent rate!

You can hear other guests moving around. There was a late check in so I couldn't sleep very well. Nothing a good set of ear plugs cannot fix.

mario e rute are the best hosts ever. although I stayed one night they were absolutely wonderful . both of them are very easy to talk to. the facility is super nice, very clean and with all I needed. the bed was super comfortable. thank again and hope to come back soon

Beautiful house located in the middle of nowhere. Nice and calm area with parking lots. The housekeeper was super friendly and recommended us some places to go for the evening. Big kitchen for cooking and well fountained water. Balcony and garden include.

Highly recomendable.Clean and quiet. Good location to get to know the area. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Some guests are more quiet than others. But it's everywhere like that.
