Great location - 5 min walk through dunes to Ocean, 5 min walk to the city center very calm, nicely equipted place with a lot of activites - tennis, table tennis, 2 swimming pools (outside pool is colder, 3 m deep, inside pool very warm, only 1.4 m deep), nice green garden villas are close to each other but with enough of privacy for each guests, wit balcony or terrase parking places right in the front of each villa smily, kind and helpfull personell in the front desk as well as at the bar good food, coffee and snacks - we had few bourgers, cakes, soft drinks and wine, all nicely and tastefull villas big enough for a bigger families (it is 5 of us), and pet friendly (with a small additional charge for dogs) overall great experience, we do recommend!

Location is key. is close enough to the beach so most of the people can walk to it. Having a pool is a nice extra for whenever you don't want to go to the beach. last but not least, kids activities and facilities are awesome to keep the little ones busy along the day. being a aparthotel help on that aspect as well.

there are no supermarkets near by, you will have to go by car unless you want to buy only a couple of groceries. parking is free on the street but usually is pretty overcrowded, you will find a place but if you go on august perhaps you will have to walk to your apartment.

The staff was wonderful. We celebrated Our anniversary here and I mentioned it in my reservation. Awaiting us were chocolates and champagne and the bed with rose petals. Location was great. Facilities were clean, hot tub was cool but the temperature was increased so it was fine. Loved the daily maid service! Great towels and shower!

The kitchen was not well equipped: no paper towel, spatula,toaster, but the staff brought it to us upon request.

Nice hotel with various amenities, pictures reflect the reality just fine. Clean and neat apartment with kitchenette (all needed basic utensils were there). Good WIFI connection. Convenient location for a walk around the town and to the surrounding beaches. Friendly and welcoming staff. Free spacious parking on site.

The apartment could use some slight renovation to fresh it up. Our apartment was located on the street side and windows weren't soundproof enough, even closing the external shutters didn't help much - all the noises were heard inside, might be problematic for light sleepers.

We adored our accomodation here. The space was so well thought out for comfort. You could easily stay a month or more and call it a home away from home. Beds were comfy, courtyard was perfect, there was more than ample room for the 3 of us to have our own space if needed, but also set up for gathering together around a dinner table too. There is a massage service on sight with wonderful staff, if you like a more holistic approach to massage.

Sadly no hot water jug and the “spa bath” on the roof top pictured in the photos only runs cold water. This would still be great in summer to cool down, but only if you want that cool dip.

Perfect location, quiet yet very close to the beach over the dunes, also a short walk into town. Spacious apartment with all the things you require. Comfy beds and so dark with the shutters down. Our apartment was on the ground floor so had direct access into the gardens. Although we did not use it the pool was clean and deep. From the sounds of the children in the indoor pool that was also good.

Apartments are starting to get a bit tired but everything works. Some signs of building settling caused the tiles outside the room to crack but they were never a problem.

Everything was good, even exceed expectations. The room and furniture was rather old. But everything was clean and cosy. The mattress was comfy and we slept well. The pool is small, but there weren't a lot of guest, so we could swim together. The territory was clean and nice. There is children playground and my child was happy 😊

The swimming pool is too deep, especially for children. And indoor swimming pool was not working. Location is not perfect. It is far from city center (15 minutes). Not so far from the beach thou

Very flexible, chilled offseason vibe when we were there with a group of over 20ppl in several apartments. Whenever we needed something the apartment did not have (bigger pot for cooking, second laundry drying rack, more chairs etc) the staff would organise it for us. The sand dunes start directly behind the apartments (beautiful sunrise and sunset in the ocean). Price and value was really good - location, bath tub, fireplace, balcony, terrace, spa in a nice little town. What more can you ask for.

It would be great if the place would offer waste separation and would only replace towels if necessary and not daily. In our times of being more aware about environmental issues to still offer little shampoo, soap, sugar etc all individually wrapped is very unfortunate to me. Be aware that you have to ask explicitly for everything you need - wood for the fire place, for example. The place seems to have a lot of rules. If you really have to follow them, I could imagine it is a bit less fun there.

Milfontes is a gem of a location: in a natural park with lots of wild coast to explore, the village has plenty of cute shops but is not yet overwhelmed but hoards of visitors. The property is located at the end of the village, very close to the start of the trail that goes up and down the coast.

Some of the furniture is a bit aged and could do with a refurbishing, but no deal breaker. Missing a few essential accessories like a toaster and a drip coffee machine.

A Gem of a place! We had a seafront apartment with a fabulous balcony which offered nearly 360 views of the surrounds. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location to town centre was about 10/12 min walk. We will return again

As it is an aparthotel, some of the apartments are privately owned which makes some of them a little less well kept (small issue to be honest).
