Very nice new hostel. Comfortable beds. Easy check-in with good communication. Small kitchen with fridge and hot plate and enough pots/cutlery to cook and eat basic meals. Good shower

You need a key to open the WC Parking was full of cars who did not appear to be guests but we did find street parking nearby. Very loud "guest" playing music and coming and going late at night. I can't blame hostels for what guests do but in this case it seemed he was an employee or somehow associated with the hostel so he shouldn't be waking people up!

Location with value for money, given the cleanliness and attention to detail that make it a very comfortable accommodation for travelers (neat, clean, well-organized community kitchen, drying rack, bedside tables for both beds, folding space-saving table in room, community patio area, communication on arrival day.

Was not clear nor comfortable with the multiple twists for personal information legally needed/required by the accommodation. Was staying at other places in Portugal, and was never sent a form to fill out in advance or by email.

Clean as a whistle. We had a shared bathroom arrangement but the bathroom was in fact for our exclusive use. Perfect. Well placed for the RV Historical Path. Kitchen a dream to prepare a light meal from the Meo or Coviran just around the corner. There's a laundromat nearby for stinky hiking clothes and huge drying line in the hostal car park. Perfect.

Very clean space with super comfy beds. Our private bathroom was no in the room, but down the hallway. Cute little kitchen to prepare dinner. Self check in with info sent by email day before. Grocery store right around the corner. Amazing bakery close by too

Bit of a walk to our bathroom. Great value for the room and a lovely clean place so no real concern.

Modern building, rooms,and bath. Nice hot water and pressure, good beds, nice common kitchen. Good location right next to supermarket. Receptive staff. Never received the email with access instructions, so I recommend that being sent earlier, and in duplicate alternate means (like booking.com messaging). Fortunately housekeeper was there to make a call for me and the staff was very receptive and helpful in getting us settled.

Great location in the heart of the town. The place was very clean, and had everything we needed. And the staff were responsive - although no one was physically at the location. I assume that was because it is still early in the season.

Great location on Rota Vicentina, clean bright place, comfortable rooms and beds, great showers. Alfonso was helpful and kind. Amazing pastry breakfast spot and supermarket right around corner.

Nothing but suggest putting up a sign letting people know how to find the kitchen which was well stocked and nice.

Affordable rooms, perfect for a walker on the Rota Vicentina. Room was small but had all that is needed. No staff present but communication ahead of the stay was alright. Small communal kitchen was available. Shops and city center just around the corner.

Room was cold and very damp, even with the heater/ac running.

Our room and bathroom were large, comfortable and clean. The facility is in the town square and has recently been renovated and makes for a pleasant stay. The wifi was strong, ample hot water, the heater in the room was effective, beds were comfortable and room was quiet, self check-in was easy and host was responsive. There is a common kitchen with fridge, induction stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and dishes and pots/pans. The host provided coffee, tea and basic spices and oils for cooking. There are also bins for each room that allow guests to identify their items in the fridge. The minimarcado right below the building has a decent selection of food and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

It’s a lovely property really in the center of Cercal. Supermarket, cafés and the busstop really close by. The kitchen has everything you need and it’s all very clean (I saw somebody cleaning everyday I was there). I got a free upgrade to a room with an ensuite bathroom. Really nice. The contact with Afonso was really good. He reacted really promptly when I texted or called him him with a question.

The only thing I didn’t like so much was that all the contact was through the phone, because it’s low season, there was nobody at the reception while I was there. But checking in and out works really wel, so not a really big thing.
