We stayed here out of the blue due to the electricity outage what a godsend it was as we were almost out of fuel in the car and couldn’t fill up until the next morning. The lady behind reception was lovely and showed us to the room which exceeded our expectations it had a spacious living room area with tv and a kitchen area with dining furniture at the other.A nice spacious bedroom and bathroom with plenty of towels not that we could shower wash or flush the loo until the next morning after the water came back with the power. There was a nice pool area with loungers and the downstairs rooms had nice terraces with outdoor furniture. We had no electricity until 12.30 am. But the next morning things were back to normal and we had a nice breakfast in the hotel dining room.The little town was lovely very lovely area over looking the ocean about ten minutes walk from the hotel with benches and picnic tables. Really enjoyed our unplanned visit and would recommend

The Staff are incredibly polite, Filomena was especially kind, professional and made us feel at home. The breakfast Staff are so thoughtful letting us know when the freshly baked croissants were available. This has been an extraordinary stay going very well beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this Gem of a Property in Porto Covo. Thank you to the entire team for making this special trip memorable. Looking forward to returning soon.

The hotel was good for what we needed - great location close to the downtown and beach. The rooms were of decent size, had a terrace and were clean. The staff was very friendly and kind. As other guests write, the hotel is slightly outdated, but nevertheless very clean. The breakfast is simple, but good to start a day quick and easy with a pleasant seating at the terrace. The bedding, however, could definitely use an upgrade, even if the rooms stay as they are. The duvets were blankets that felt army-style stiff and heavy. Given the price, the location, the friendly staff, this is a good deal for the money.

A wonderful apartment with all facilities required for basic cooking. A good veranda with a view over Luz bay. Large comfy bed and a nice lounge area. Plenty of car parking. 30 minute Cliff top walk into Luz. ( It's a bit rough in places)

It's a long way out of Luz so a car is almost essential. You can't park outside some of the apartments so a 100m walk down a steep path and some steps is required. Inside it's more a studio than apartment. Ours didn't have a partition between the bedroom and lounge.

The room is spacious with a dinning area and a small pantry with microwave, fridge and coffee machine. The swimming pool is directly accessible through a glass door, which would be very convenient in summer time when you can enjoy the sun. (I came in March which was still too cold to use the swimming pool.) The staff is friendly and helpful. They had electrical adaptor to lend to us during our stay.

The bathroom got too wet after we had our showers. And it won’t get dry the next morning. Although still walkable, it is a little further from the town center.

Very peaceful area of Porto Covo. Big apartments. Very clean. Helpful staff. Nice hotel and a swimming pool area. Good value for the money.

Uncomfortable bed. The mattress needs to be changed. Unfortunately, our apartment was on the second floor without a balcony which is a bit claustrophobic ( the apartments on the ground floor have terrace with table/chairs and umbrella direct to the pool, which is a big plus)

Perfect location We really loved Porto Covo, from the hotel you can reach everything by walking, beautiful small town and amazing beaches. Staff super friendly and kids are more then welcome.

We had a little kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, stove top, coffee maker and toaster. Since a good breakfast was included and we enjoyed local restaurants for dinner we didn’t really need to use the kitchenette, but it seemed well equipped. It was great to have the fridge to store a few things and to be able to make sandwiches for our hiking days. I loved sitting out on the small patio in the late afternoon sun.

Staff were super friendly and room was spotlessly clean. Its about 5 minutes walk from the main street so very central. Lovely pool area which we didnt get to use because of the weather. Breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying 2 nights in Porto Covo if starting the Fisherman's Trail there.

The reception folks were very helpful and spoke English which really helped me. The breakfast was adequate. The first morning i was a little later than most guests so it was slim Pickens but the second morning I went earlier and had more choices.
