Such a beautiful view and location. Rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated. I loved that we had our own Val only and it felt private. Easy access no stairs, plenty of parking and ideal for couples, families with kids and any age group. The staff are so welcoming and flexible as I had to adjust my dates and asked to add on an extra date. The dinner menu is very good and the food has many choices including authentic Portuguese dishes. They have thought of everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We saw a full moon and a double rainbow. How lucky can one be. The location is wonderful if you are planning on day trips in the surrounding area. We even drove to Gibraltar and back in the same day and enjoyed a nice cold beer upon our return in the lounge. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Would go back in a heartbeat! Loved the turtles! Majestic location and property - both beautiful and tranquil. We felt totally at peace during our time there. The best 2 days of our 4 weeks in Spain and Portugal. Staff went above and beyond what is considered the norm. The lady in reception was an absolute angel, the chef who prepared our scrumptious dinner is an absolute culinary legend, the young lady who was our host for dinner was do friendly and helpful and the cleaning, gardening and maintenance staff all very hardworking and diligent. Whilst you are here, definitely enjoy the facilities restaurant, bar, pool ,spa and outdoor gym bug also drive you Tsbies and enjoy the scenic walks along the river and the scrumptious food. Then download AllTrails and go hiking through the hills around the hotel. You will love it. We are definitely coming back (from Australia!)

Welcoming and accommodating staff, beautiful surroundings and lots of family friendly facilities - the grounds, swimming pool, animals, playground meaning we didn't have to venure outside the grounds for activities for our young kids during our one night stay. Breakfast was nice and the bar lunch too.

During our stay there were two external events at the restaurant. Whilst the swimming pool is for hotel guests only, people attending events ventured down to the pool which made us feel a little less comfortable

Very nice place in green. Every room has a private entrance protected by green and nice views from the balcony. Not many people, calm and relaxed atmosphere. Big room and bathroom. Kind staff.

They served delicious things at breakfast and it would have been better to have description what it is. We could ask staff but we wouldn't like to disturb as sometimes they were very busy during breakfast.

Quiet and relaxed. Close enough to TAVIRA . Car would be recommended. Facilities are top notch, rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. Nice restaurant, good choice of food. If one thing really stood out it was the staff. I don’t know where they find their employees. They were friendly, attentive and just a pleasure to deal with. Excellent facility and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay for some rest, Gardens and surrounding areas well maintained, lots of space for peace, lovely smell of rosemary through. Great size rooms with balcony or terrace. Lovely pool to cool down in. Pedro at the bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Had dinner in the restaurant was beautifully cooked - even got given a birthday cake with a candle for dessert.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself- the only part was when you leave the hotel and come out onto the main road, you are in a blind spot for seeing oncoming traffic the mirror across the road is little help

Hotel is absolutelly fantastic. Located on top of the hills. Beautifull view. Countryside. Orange trees. We walked through them. This place have special energy. Silence. You fill so relaxed. Other people who come to this place were positive, polite, friendly. Hotel staff is so kind. They pay attention to each visitor. Super kind and positive people in restaurant. All of them. At breakfast, lunch and dinner. We filled so welcomed here. Delicious food. Excellent dinner. Definitely will come back on my next trip to Portugal.

Pool was on reconstruction. But this did not damage our feeling at all. We had sunbeds. It was in March. Weather was so beautiful day time. Evenings bit colder. Our stay was excellent.

The hotel was in the quiet green hills. Upon arrival we heard that there would be a big group of teenage kids and for that reason we got an upgrade to the deluxe room, which was huge. We were not bothered by the kids at all and we enjoyed everything: the pool, the sauna, the restaurant. Great quality food, we decided to have several dinners there, the personnel was very friendly and available. Would recommend!

Comfortable spacious room, wonderful views, great breakfast and really helpful, friendly staff.It was very relaxing.

Although peaceful the location is a bit remote from any local amenities and a car is essential. The evening meal menu was good but the Portuguese menu is very rich and it would benefit from one or two more simple main course dishes.

My husband and I loved our getaway for a night. The room was on the first floor overlooking the pool and countryside. The restaurant food was lovely and such high quality. The breakfast had so many choices too. There was water, coffee and tea in the room with a balcony to enjoy the sunset. There was little walks around the place, animals, swing and hammock to enjoy.

We went late December so the pool was closed but it didn’t bother us as it would have been freezing.
