easy access to the perfect sandy beach either walking across the marshland or by the little train outside resort - apartment had everything we needed - I must apologize though as we found the cork screw in bag side pocket when we got home (amazed it got though airport sceening lol) - staff were very friendly and always on hand to help.

pool is really a kids pool - no space really to swim widths without a possible collision :-) - but we thought it was a lovely resort and base for anybody exploring that part of Portugal and will definitely stay again

The compact room was very pleasant. The shower was lovely with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. The balcony had delightful views out to sea, and we could hear the breakers. Well equipped kitchen.

We checked in around 2200 hrs and were told that the snack bar was open until 2300 hrs. We went there only to be told that the kitchen was closed! We had been moving home all day and hadn't eaten. The girl couldn't even be bothered to offer us a sandwich. We drove into Santa Luzia where Taberna Amaro were both very welcoming and proactive. We highly recommend this place. There were tea bags in the room but no kettle! Come on guys, get your act together! We were given a map at reception to help us find the unit. It was dark but after driving around for about 30 minutes we gave up and put the place in the sat nav. Bingo, happy days. The stairs up to the apartment were precarious and best tackled sober.

The location is very nice, we were situated right next to the walking path which leads to the beautiful beaches along Tavira. It is not 'walkable' into Tavira, but if you have a car and are looking for a little community away from all the tourists, this is the place for you. The place is a little funky, it felt like a summer camp. There really isn't a couch in the living room, but two additional beds, which was odd. The kitchen had the dishes you need, but you need to have all your own spices, oils, etc. The room didn't have wifi, but we were able to rent a router for 1 euro, which worked really well. We had a nice little yard, which was great for the dog. We ordered pizza and salad from the bar, which was excellent!

The beds were a little hard and the whole place could use some updating. But, it was fun and kind of kitschy.

The train system to get to the beach was very nice and extremely scenic. The pool was very well maintained and clean. Loved having the ability to run to the little grocery store on the premises of the hotel to make a meal or go to the snack bar or restaurant. We stayed in the comfort suite and it was perfect.

Surprisingly well organised and appointed resort. A really good place to relax and get a good night sleep. The accommodation was spacious enough, and the quality was also a pleasant surprise. wifi cost extra (1 euro a day), but was super good.

The cafe onsight had poor quality food and coffee. surprising given the high standards in Portugal.

Relaxed vibe, something between a resort and a camping site. Proximity to the beach and nature around.

I knew that before so not a surprise but you do need a car to enjoy the villages close by, as there is no public transport around.

Love Pedras D’El Rei, it had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Love the train to the beach. Restaurant fabulous very high quality but a tad expensive.Apartment well stocked, super clean but no wine glasses.

Amazing location. Flat got all the basics.

I think once the customer arrives at dark hours (after sunset) , someone should bring him/her/them directly to the right house. There are many, and the numbers distribution around urbanisation is confusing. Apart from that, there is nothing else. All was perfect. A big thanks.

Breakfast good. First impression of the 1 bedroom villa was very disappointing, shabby and dirty outside. Inside although dark and small was very clean, towels changed every day and floors mopped.
