The hostel is well located, near everything: The old town, bars, restaurants, supermarkets Pingo Doce, Lidl, etc It's very impressive, beautiful architecture and you almost feel as being in a five star hotel, to be honest! It's nice and quiet, close to all the main tourist Tavira attractions. I slept like a baby, due to the absolute silence. I was impressed in a very good way. I would stay there again! I would recommend to friends and family!! The staff was very polite, extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was abundant and delicious: fruits, yoghurt, all kind of coffee and tea, etc You will be amazed.

I would strongly recommend and suggest some curtains to be placed on the beds for us, guests to have more privacy. This would be highly welcome and a big plus to the hostel. Having the bed's curtain will make our stay more enjoyable also.

The hostel is massive, the rooms are good size. The bed was comfortable with a socket next to it. Spacious wardrobe dedicated to each bed. Bathroom nice and clean. Breakfast as always at Pousada de Juventude with good selection- cereal, bread, jams, ham, cheese, fruit and veg etc. Good WiFi throughout the building. Very good location. Washing machine and a good size kitchen

In general everything was good! The only things I can think of that could be improved would be a kettle in the kitchen and more cutlery available, and the shower curtains that a blown up in the air while showering because of the air pressure:D

The location, personell, cleaning and brakefast buffe is excelent. It's also very good that there is a kitchen for the guests to use with micro and refrigerator.

I miss a personal locker in the dorm. There was also some male guest using the female bathroom (or was a female dorm made to a mixed one?). Some guest were not so good at closing doors behind them. It was quite noicey in the room outside the dorm so there is a need to close the door between the spaces for better night sleep. Perhaps there is a need for more signs or rules explained? I also prefer a "double sheet" (where you can put the blanket inside). It more hygienic instead of a single sheet and blanket in the bed.

A converted palazzo, pretty close to train station and minutes away from town centre. Bathrooms are shared but everything is numbered to your room. Showers powerful, but on a short timer - a minute would be better. Quiet at night. Generous Breakfast is included.

Female member of staff unwelcoming and unhelpful - why put someone miserable on the front desk? The Guy was friendly. Mattresses needed changing. Bed linen changed after just one night, which seemed unnecessary.

I loved staying here. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are also various spaces to hang out and take calls etc which was great. The breakfast had lots of different options and was perfect to have before a day out. The hostel is in a great location for seeing Tavira and getting to the beaches. Wonderful time!

Potentially adding in a few more cooking utensils like sharp knives and maybe some spices, cooking oil etc to make it a bit more convenient for preparing your own food.

Staff was super nice and helpful. The location is great, a few minutes on foot from the centre of Tavira. The hostel is in an old house, it's a beautiful space. Breakfast has quite a few options, it's very nice. And there's a fully functional kitchen if you'd like to cook.

The beds are not very comfortable. In shared rooms, the bunk beds are extremely shaky, hard to turn around without shaking the whole bed and disturbing the other person.

Tavira is a tranquil city with wonderful neaches. This fantastic youth hostel was oir headquarters for exploring the entire Algarve. The double room with a shared bathroom is spacious, the kitchen is perfect and fully equipped for enjoying healthy meals, the breakfast is abundant and includes all kinds of food, even for vegetarians. Joana at the reception was friendly and efficient and fixed a problem with the bathroom in no time. Overall, the accommodation was a very pleasent and unforgettable experience.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 in the morning, a bit late for those of us who like to het early to be in other places on time to enjoy and make the most of our vacations.

The value for money in this property right now is just extraordinary in the Algarve in high season, that's why you need to book well in advance. The staff is fantastic and always ready to help with any tip around the area. The hostel is always clean and the AC is extraordinary for this price. A big plus is that they have private parking connected to the hostel - you need to book in advance and it has an extra cost.

The kitchen could be a bit bigger, but it's very difficult to change that now. Adding on top of that the floor of the connection to the garage needs maintenance. But that's is so small little things compared with the overall experience that is amazing!

Reception ladies were friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Secure parking for bicycles. The daily maid service was unexpected but a nice touch.

Kitchen lacked a kettle and some basic items. Showers were not at all hot but are probably better in warmer months. Breakfast choice is also fairly limited but there is plenty of what there is.

Beautiful spacious building in top location, super clean, with everything you need. The 4 bed female dorm was spotless and even had a table, chairs, and wardrobes! The bathroom was huge and also very clean. Friendly professional staff. Free breakfast in the morning. Late night checkin available. Overall amazing price.
