The apartment (no. 96) was lovely, very spacious and had all the appliances required. Bonus was a washing machine and a dryer. It had lovely balconys off each of the rooms, was top floor so nice views over the golf course. Staff are excellent, very friendly. Went to the spa and it was lovely, daughter got her hair cut and really enjoyed the experience. New years eve gala was super, food was amazing and plenty of drinks offered and it was a good fun night, staff were great. Loved sitting by the log fire in the bar in the evenings playing the many wooden board games on offer, we had lots of fun. The indoor pool is excellent, kids really enjoyed it every day. We also used the outdoor pool for a quick dip a few times, it is heated but still very cold.

Location is further out than we would have liked. A lot of walking with three small kids, we got a taxi at least once every day to the marina or the old town. Some days we got a taxi four times as kids tired after a day out. We love to run and walk ourselves but with small kids the location is not great. We will definitely rent a car for the week if we stay again, there was plenty of parking at the hotel and in the marina and old town and at all of the beaches (we went to four or five different beaches). The sauna didnt work, it was never on and when turned it on (you press a button to turn it on) it took ages to heat up to any level worth sitting in, wasnt worth it. Tried a few different times but it didnt heat up.

We stayed half board and the breakfast and dinner were all delicious. There was a good selection and we were made to feel welcome. There was no alternatives for allergies / intoleranbces though, however dairy free milk was given to us on request. The pools were great although only one outdoor one was open when we were there as it was the start of the season. There wasn’t enough seating in the main lounge for everyone, dining tables could be moved aside perhaps after dinner for more people to sit. The games available for guests were a great touch.

Our only recommendations are: - kids club needs more work. The activities were good for very small children (4-5) but even out 7 year old found it boring and babyish. There also didn’t seem enough people in there for the number of children as the children said they were left alone if a younger child needed to be taken to the bathroom (which isn’t acceptable). - The plug sockets in the bathrooms didn’t power the hairdryer so there was no mirror in plug socket reach to dry / style your hair. - It would have been nice to have a small shop on site to buy a few essentials such as coffee / milk / crisps, although the spa supermarket is not far.

Spacious apartment, balcony to eat on or rest on sun loungers. Well equipped in the kitchen. Pools were a nice temperature and it was great to have a lane for swimming. We used the gym and the bar - staff were lovely everywhere. Our apartment was kept beautifully clean and it was a treat to have it serviced every day. I thought the location was excellent, it is in a beautiful part of Vilamoura, a short walk or Uber to the Marina or beach, handy for golf which the hotel booked for us, and a well stocked local shop and close restaurant options.

The staff here we're just lovely. from the pool attendants, restaurant staff, cleaners and front of house, all went above and beyond to make our stay special.....even supplying a free Birthday cake on my daughters Birthday :). The food was also very nice with great allergy specific options. My daughter is Ceoliac and had her first hot dog in years, she was thrilled to bits and it was a proper whopper ;).

We arrived late so eating out wasnt an option. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed and there was nothing to be offered. Even of there was mini snacks and coffee on offer this would make a difference to late arrivers.

Apartments very spacious and clean. Pool area was gorgeous. Staff very nice. Everyone sitting poolside given free smoothies each day. -15 to 20 minute walk to Marina. -2 minute walk to nearby Voila Bakery /Bisto in old town. Ideal for lunch & coffee. -5 minute walk to small supermarket in old town. -25 minute drive from Faro Airport.

-Bathroom & Kitchen old fashioned. -Bar food was disappointing. Needs improvement. -Children’s playground is located right beside a golf course. Found a golf ball in the playground area and handed it to hotel management. Some sort of netting / protection is needed. -Dishwasher tablets were left loosely under sink in apartment when we arrived. Suggest leaving them at high level away from babies / kids.

Very pleasant staff who work to remedy any deficiencies. Areas are all very clean. Well equipped apartments for kitchen and washrooms. We'll functioning washer and dryer.

We were experiencing some difficulty with central heat. Initially it was always 17C (outside 12C) and couldn't get it warmer (tile floors are very cold). During the day it would warm passively from the sun. After multiple attempts and portable heaters, we managed to get to 20C. I suspect that would be considered "working" since these are not setup for colder weather

A great and spacious room Friendly stuff Good dinner They are building new big outdoor pool. Great villa-style feeling. All around solid 4 star hotel, good for couple of days stay

I was expected more luxury from Four seasons brand. It's just a basic 4 star hotel, nothing bad but very old (1990 built) and very basic breakfast and tiny indoor pool. Nothing really bad but nothing special. It has some renovations but everything feels dated and old. Underground parking is a joke, made for bicycles probably. It has a billion of tiny pillars everywhere, almost impossible to fit a normal size car even in winter.. One of the worst parkings I have seen in my life. I cant imagine what happens in summer there. Breakfast too basic. Checkout time must be 12 as in all other hotels in Portugal not 10am. Indoor pool closes too early (6pm, must close at 8). Very bad timing.

The resort was very clean, lovely having a serviced apartment everyday - gives you a lot more space than a hotel room and more comfort. Staff were lovely & friendly. Great to have so many pools too.

Food wasn't great in the restaurant, which was a shame. It was also pretty expensive to eat there - fine if the food was good but that wasn't the case. Indoor pool was a little chilly (only 2 out of 8 days) but it meant we didn't get to stay in the pool for as long as we would have liked.

Breakfast choice and quality was great. Staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel complex was really clean, including the rooms with maids coming everyday. The room was a good size for 2 (studio apartment) with all kitchen appliances if you wanted to self-cater (which we did not). The quality of the food at the hotel was fantastic and compared to eating out of the complex was about the same cost. It was busy but not too busy which suited us well with the clientele being mainly families and older people (it was nice and relaxed).

The location was a fair trek to the marina/hub of the main resort of Vilamoura (about a mile but you would do plenty of walking around there as it’s well spread!) this wasn’t a huge issue for us due to length of stay however if we stayed longer would have needed to use taxi or public transport. The washing machine was handy although no manual and pretty old so took a lot of YouTube’ing and google translate to figure out how to use it! However, these are very minor things and do not detract from the wonderful stay we had!!

the staff (receptionists, guys who took our bags to room and pool barman) were really lovely and friendly. we had fruit and cava in our room for my friends special bday. which was so nice of them :) room was nice, clean and spacious with everything we needed. pool was great! immediate location of our hotel was stunning! really beautiful area with some nice restaurants and a handy shop close by.

the chips at the pool bar were not very nice and our leftovers were still there on the sun loungers the next day...
