This hotel is right on the beach. Step out the door. You are literally on the beach. It's beautiful.

There's nothing not to like about this property. The only thing to watch out for has nothing to do with the hotel. Be careful on the beach. Don't take anything to the beach. It will be stolen.

Amazing daily breakfast buffet with cook-to-order omelets. Restaurant staff was also amazing, attentive and accommodating. Front desk (esp, Luis, Erika and Deivis) were very helpful. Each of them went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Hotel is beachfront (within a very short walk. Great security. Beautiful pool with a bar. Easy ride to the walled city and Bocagrande Beach. Salon/spa and Conveience store next door.

I couldn't figure out the A/C control. There are no ice machines on the floors or ice buckets in the rooms....had to order from room service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted me in anything that I needed. Everytime I came back to my room after a whole day out in the city, I would come to a clean room with fresh towels (I never had to ask for towels). I liked the location because it was pretty close to the walled city, yet far enough away from all of the noise and activity of the city. I loved being able to walk out onto the beach. Security was always ensuring the safety recommendations of the beach hours. I felt safe here. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for tranquility, great service, and easy access to the beach! I would book here again if I go back to Cartagena.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The best thing about my trip to Catagena, Colombia was my stay in this hotel. I rate it with a 10, that being the highest score from Luis at the front desk, Daisy and Cindy at the restaurant, the food and especially the spectacular breakfasts!!!! In the pool area, Leo and Robinson, the spectacular attention, Eric, the security guy on the beach, gives you all the tips to be safe, and on the beach, Jose, who set us up with chairs and an awning on the beach, very good, although he doesn't work for. The hotel, he should!!!! and the cleanliness of the hotel, also a 10, the hotel was the best of my trip to Cartagena, Colombia

Cartagena doesn't have the infrastructure for tourism and is not a safe place, and Baru is a messy beach and no safe either

Fantastic staff. Great breakfast with many options including food from this specific region. Easy access to the huge beach, that by Colombian law is public. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Access to the city is easy since the hotel have taxis available for the short trip. The menu at the pool was good too with good cocktails and delicious fruit juices. We really liked this hotel.

The picture that shows the view of the ocean also shows three pools. These do not belong to the hotel but to the two buildings on the sides, that are condos. The pool from the hotel is small but it was never crowded and the water was great!

The hotel is right in front of the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and in general the restaurant is great. The place was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay there!

The staff is doing a great job, but it seems like the hotel needs more staff. Also, it is indeed true you cannot walk at night in the area, so plan around that.

The breakfast has variety of local and international food. The ambience was very nice as it was the personnel working in that area, same as the rest of the hotel personnel, that was smiling welcoming people. The hotel is located close to the old town, like 5-7 minutes by taxi. Very nice common areas an well as large rooms (ours had a nice view of the lagoon). I like the fact that is located in a less crowded zone, but close.

Didn’t like that the hotel doesn’t provide beach chairs and umbrellas, it doesn’t fell safe to have to be dealing with different people that come to offer the service (I understand locals have to earn money but for foreigners it doesn’t feel safe). If you deal with hotel personnel you feel safer, we saw a guest panicking that their kids were takes in the jet ski towards the zone that was mentioned no to go that way. The lady was desperate! Completely different it would have been if she had done the rental with hotel personnel.

The property is really close to the beach. The pool is well maintained and has a nice poolside bar.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect (near both the airport and the old city), the room was comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and we loved the pool.

There should be umbrellas at the pool to provide shade. And towels, bathroom amenities, and bed linens could be upgraded.

We were happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Cartagena- Moros. Restaurant was spacious and spotless. Restaurant staff was cordial and very professional. Breakfast was amazing!!! Excellent food . We will definitely stat at the Holiday Inn on our next trip to Cartagena :) Keep up the good work.

I didn't like the drink menu at the bar by the swimming pool area. Not a good selection of beers.
