The hotel is very modernist silver grey 'metallic' tower, the rooms in contrast were comfortable yet 80's style decor. Not a problem just not what I expected. The reception and breakfast area were light and bright. Breakfast was a good mix of food. It's within walking distance of the station and the centre if you like walking. Otherwise you can take the bus.

On the 2nd day the hotel became busy with a big of foreign sports team group as well as other travellers, which made the breakfast room very full and the number of staff found it difficult to manage all the things that were going on.They were good though and tried hard. In June 2025 there are major roadworks throughout the Bologna city area including the roads around the hotel which made it noisy in the day and difficult to walk around in the evening.

the staff was very helpful and friendly the location is 15 min walk to pedestrian area there is a bus stop in front of the hotel (27 line) there is a frèe parking garage!!!! there were roadworks in the neighborhood and in the city( for 1,5 year for train railwaynet) there was an Islamic religion point like a.. shop opposite the hotel entrance but not something serious both not hotel's fault !

Lots of space in the rooms. You can easily buy a train ticket with the hotel. Close to the train station, the hotel staff have a great shortcut that gets you to the train station in 6 mins (ignore Google Maps directions that say 10 mins). The restaurant food was great too, we were surprised by this. Free water in the rooms.

You can only buy a train ticket with cash. Trains run way less frequently on Fridays and weekends (30-60 mins vs 15 mins on other days). I wish the hotel staff had mentioned this ahead of time because we had to take taxi (€30) into the city instead of the train (€1.50) to not miss our tour.

Perfectly located only a 20 minutes comfortable walk from the city centre and including free garaged parking. Friendly and thoroughly professional staff both at the desk and for dining (including lovely Giovanna) with no sense of the impersonality often associated with hotel chains. Clean, comfortable and relaxing with very generous and tasty breakfasts including a range of homemade cakes. Although there is an interesting range of very good restaurants in the city we ate in the hotel one evening and did not regret it - delicious regional dishes including local tagliatelle ragu (NOT spaghetti bolognaise!!!) and perfectly prepared beef.

A good quality modern hotel. I had stayed here before a long time ago. It was further from the old city than I had remembered, a good 30 minutes walk. The roadworks ongoing for a new tram system didn't help, but this is no fault of the hotel. Breakfast was good and car parking was no problem. Once the tram works are finished the location would be more ideal, 25 minutes drive to the airport off peak.

I didn't use their wifi which wanted an email address to sign in, which i don't like.

Nicely appointed room with desk and large bath. Pleasant bar/dining room and breakfast area including outdoor patio. Friendly staff. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood with large trees and shrubs. Walkable to the train station and city center if you like to get some exercise. Did not use it this trip but there is an underground garage.

We had some problems with the air conditioner not cooling sufficiently.

A typical city hotel which provided the expected. The staff were excellent and the location was adjacent to the bus route in to the centre of town which was a definite plus.

This is the second Best Western we have stayed in whilst in Italy and both have had inadequate showers. Here, I am talking about the accessibility into/out of the actual shower which was no where near suitable enough for a 'normal' sized person. Personally, I don't think a 'plus-sized' person would be able to get in to the shower cubicle.

Very nice and clean room with a beautiful view from the window. A big plus was that there was plenty of storage space. The reception staff were also very friendly. Good location – about a 15-minute walk from the train station and around 30 minutes on foot to the Old Town

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable as was all parts of the hotel. We availed of breakfast most mornings which was vey good well presented and great value for money. Location was great with a 20 minute walk to the centre.

There was nothing to dislike.

Spacious rooms and halls, VERY good own parking - recommended for auto/moto travels, location right off the city center so no noise but everything's within walking minutes.

They use one of "advanced wifi access management systems" instead of just passwording hotspot. Of course, it glitches like hell. They have 2 whole pages of troubleshooting manuals for it ready at the reception! Yeah, those helped. But you'd think at this point, knowing problems are so common, they would change/drop it instead of having many guests go through the long motions...
