it is close to bugis mrt station and bus stops, you can access MRT Exit B just two blocks across (Tan Quee Lan St.), and bus routes going to Vivocity (Sentosa) / MBS / CBD can be accessed at a bus stop opposite the National Library. there is a small hawker nearby called Seng Huat Coffee House for affordable breakfast, a 7-11, and lots of vendo machines so you dont have to worry about going hungry. tap water is safe to drink so we saved a lot on buying drinking water. staff are friendly and the rooms and hallways are clean. we booked the room with windows so there was no problem about our stuff getting damped or feeling cramped. They also allowed us to check in an hour earlier since there was already a room available which was nice. the area is overall safe and well lit even if you go home late at night.

expect the room to be smaller than other hotels with a pretty basic facility as it is a budget hotel and Singapore is rather expensive in terms of lodging. If you prefer to have a fridge in the room, take the superior rooms as the standard rooms don't have it.

I had a few questions before and after making the reservation. My questions through emails and the app were promptly responded with thorough explanations, which helped me make the decision to stay there and a great help in making my plans. Upon arrival and after check-in, all staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us to commute from Esplanade to Stadium and go sightseeing from Bugis.

I don't think there was hot water for the shower although there was for the sink. I probably missed checking that there was no fridge in the room, but we could survive especially because there was a seven eleven right next to the hotel.

Ibis Budget Bugis gave us exactly what we expected and more. During our 3-night stay we experienced high level of hospitality from the staff there and the hotel itself is clean, easily accessible, immaculate through and through. My sisters and I requested for our rooms to be close by and they provided us connected rooms🥹 this was our firs solo trip without our parents and our experience at this hotel made it special, easy and enjoyable. The hotel couldn’t have a better location as it is within walking distance of the national library, Bugis MRT, Bugis Junction, Arab st., two 7-elevens and numerous bus stops. Genuinely a perfect experience.

The location is ideal, with plenty of dining options, convenience stores, shopping malls, and Bugis MRT just a short 10-15 minute walk away. What truly surprised me this time was receiving a room upgrade. While I didn’t have the chance to inquire about the reason, I am truly grateful to the hotel management for this thoughtful gesture. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the front desk team – Chloe, Irene, and Faj – for their exceptional hospitality and constant assistance, which made my stay even more memorable. Last but not least, a special mention to the friendly housekeeping crew who kept my room spotless and tidy throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend these staff be recognized and kept as part of the hotel team for years to come.

The soundproofing in the room could certainly be improved. There were several instances when I could clearly hear guests talking in the corridor, especially children playing and shouting. This often interrupted the tranquility of the room, making it difficult to fully relax or sleep at times. A bit more attention to soundproofing would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience.

First time tried 2 stars budget hotel, but all hotel staff worth 5 stars for their valuable and responsible services! All hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. always tried to helped me when I needed during my stay, and always wear a warm smile whenever I met them. From check in till check out, house keeping, all in room needed items like bottle water, coffee, tea, facial tissue, bath towels (no face towel) dental kits, toiletries... were provided daily without failed. The room, beds, mini fridge, electric kettle were cleaned to use upon arrived. Hotel did provide a hair dryer in our room but we did not use it. The shower head was another bonus point to highlight, the water pressure was very powerful, my husband and my 2 kids included me really enjoyed the shower time! Although this is a budget hotel, but this hotel provided almost everything you needed although not branded stuffs, really gave all travelers a big convenient, but not for fussy high class travelers. Another must highlight point is the location, food and drink and shopping are all around the hotel. 7-11 beside the hotel, MRT station just opposite the hotel, bus stop in front the hotel, walkable to most of the nearby famous surroundings too, it's really convenient for family with kids like me! My kids felt relaxed and enjoyed very much during their stay, will definitely stay again in future and hope can see all friendly staff again! Overall, this 2 stars budget hotel surprisingly meet my all needed expectations! Keep it up!

As no wardrobe in the room, hope can fix more hooks to hang clothes and bags. Can consider fix an in room hot and cold drinking water machine to replace bottle water and electric kettle? It'll be more eco friendly, easy and hygiene, Also, can consider replace the single bed to a bunk bed but remain the queen size double bed to make it a quadruple room as it'll be more convenient for family of 4?

The Ibis Bugis hotel is located in central Singapore and it is within a short walking distance from the Bugis MRT station. The Bugis Junction shopping centre is nearby with shops and restaurants as well as the Intercontinental Hotel and Raffles Hotel are in close proximity of the property. The room was a good size and clean. The staff were friendly and polite and spoke very good English which was helpful as I don't speak Chinese.

The room that I stayed didn't have a window to look outside. Another negative is that the room didn't have a proper wardrobe but a small rail with a few hangers for clothes.

The room is small, this is Singapore, rooms are small, but these are very small. we only had hand luggage and it was a pinch to fit them in. I have been to Singapore many many times so knew what it would be like, we were just using it as a lay over so it didn't matter but definitely not somewhere I would stay for more than 2 nights and definitely not in this size room if you have luggage. The location is great, was easy to get to the tourist attractions of Singapore. It was clean and aircon worked, that's all we needed. They kept our luggage for us the next day as our flight left late. So I would definitely stay over again for a short trip.

Rooms are small but we knew that

I am SO satisfied with my stay at the Ibis Budget Singapore Bugis hotel, all thanks to the super lovely service that the team has provided me!! A special thanks to Lynn, Irene, and Cun Hao!! From the time I checked in, these 3 lovely souls and the rest of the team has been very warm, friendly, and helpful :) They helped me to transfer my booking from another Ibis outlet over to this hotel, so that I could have a smooth long stay at the same hotel without having to move. I am very grateful for the level of effort, attention and care they have shown me, to make my stay so comfortable and memorable. I am also grateful to the rest of the front desk and housekeeping staff, for providing such great service as well! I have stayed at other Ibis outlets before, but I must say, this team here really made a positive, lasting impression on me. The next time I visit Singapore again, I will definitely want to stay here again! Thank you so much team for all your kindness and help!! Keep up the super awesome job and I truly hope your management recognizes your awesome efforts and gives you a good promotion and bonus this year because you sure deserve it!!

The WiFi can be slightly unstable at times. Would be helpful if that can be improved on. Other than that, excellent hotel for a short stay!

Had a good and comfortable stay. Special thanks to the staff at the counter (Irene and Chloe) who were able to give us quite an early check in which was really appreciated! The room is small and the bathroom smaller than expected but overall it is compact and comfortable for a short stay of a few days. Cannot beat the excellent location right in the city centre and walking distance to so many city tourist attractions as well as the Bugis MRT. Staff was always very cordial and welcoming!

If you are looking for an affordable/budget hotel in Singapore that is comfortable and convenient then this a great choice. My family got two separate room. They were smaller than what we are used to but we already knew that prior to picking this place. Still, it was comfortable. It’s a 5-minute walk from Bugis. There’s a 7-Eleven right to the hotel. There are plenty of good food choices nearby. Our favorite place to eat is probably the one near Queen Street Carpark. It’s also near the airport, our taxi arrived at Ibis in less than 20 minutes. They also changed our towels and clean-up our room on daily basis. No problems with check-in or check-out. Overall, a great stay for my family.
