We (family of 4 with kids 7yo & 9yo) had a good stay here and would definitely recommend it. Our quadruple room was very comfortable with a bedroom (3 comfy beds) and a separate small living room (with hardwood chairs and coffee table), and a large bathroom. We were on the 4th floor - there is now an elevator! The coin-operated washing machine and dryer were just down the corridor. The restaurant isn't particularly cheap but had delicious food. There are some street vendors nearby and other restaurants within walking distance. The location is great. My kids loved the pool and the fish pond. My 7yo son said: "The staff were very nice because every time I went to see the fish they gave me fish food to feed them.I think they were 10 out of 10. Even on my last day when we already checked out they let me go to the pool. I had a really good time with my whole family. There were 100s of cats, it was like cat world." (There were several - not 100s of - friendly and well kept cats that live at the hotel. They didn't bother you if you chose not to engage with them.)

The staff was very helpfull and friendly. They were ready to help whenever you needed. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were as imagined and as pictured online. Nothing too fancy but everything worked and everything was clean. Quality versus price ratio was good. They had a baby cot available for us and set it up in our room. We booked the family room and had a shared bedroom for the fpur of us,, separate living room and separate bathroom. All in one unit. The pool was good, it has a section where little ones can stand up right. The pool is quite shallow so its suitable for people who are not very confident swimmers. We had breakfast once. Its is very limited choice but good quality. Alice Cafe is right around the corner and offers many options for breakfast and coffee. Therr is a Seven Eleven in the same street so you can get some groceries if needed. The hotel has a great location. We visited with a one year old and four year old and were able to walk to some sites.

Everything was as imagined.

great location! in the heart of old Bangkok and we loved walking out the door into the picturesque winding alleys and along the canal. everything was very clean in the room, and the beds were the most comfortable of any we experienced in Thailand. The staff was exceptional. Really appreciated that this hotel offers drinking water in glass bottles- a real effort to minimize plastic which is a huge problem in Thailand. We didn’t use the pool because of how busy it was but the gardens, pool area, and restaurant had a really lovely, modern, but comfortable atmosphere. Enjoyed the outdoor dining and the friendly kittties on the patio. Great vibes!

Our room was a deluxe family room so was quite spacious. Only thing would be to add a showerhead so you could stand up instead of having to lay in bathtub to bathe - but this was as advertised so i knew what to expect.

Location is great - very quiet area, but close to all major spots. Room was quite spacious and well furnished. Bed was comfy. Downstairs is amazing restaurant with delicious menu. Upstairs is self-service washing machine and dryer! That was a huge bonus that wasn't aware about before my stay. Also - free luggage storage and even shower facilities after check-out is nice touch. They were also working on installing a lift for upper floors!

Breakfast selection is the same every day. It is ok for a day or two, but for five days it gets more than boring. Not sure about the cleanliness of the pool though.

Cosy hotel with personality with nice public areas with a small pool and fish pond. Calm family atmosphere. I don't have anything against people smoking, but I actually appreciated the non-weed-smoking policy in the public areas, because it can all get a bit too much with the new legalisation craze. The room was really spacious and pretty with a huge and comfy bed (so important in Thailand where most beds are rock hard!) I've always stayed close to the skytrain when I've been in Bangkok before, but it was very nice to be in the middle of old town. Short walk to MRT and boat. A bit further and you're in hectic chinatown. We liked the breakfast. Especially having thai alternatives + the delicious banana muffins. Friendly, helpful staff.

You can hear about everything that goes on i every room in the hotel it feels like. With ear plugs it's no problem though, and people seemed to be considerate.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the subway and 15 minutes from the Khaosan road. Lots of parks, shrines and a shopping mall nearby. Safe and quiet neighborhood. The pool is amazing. Very good breakfast with lots of options. The room is clean and has everything a traveler may need, a fridge, a kettle and a hairdryer. Free mineral water was supplied every day, and the room was cleaned every day. After 21:00 the hotel gets quiet and allows a great night sleep.

This was excellent value to money and a brilliant location. We were able to walk to the Grand Place, Wat Pho and the river to get across to Wat Arun. We could also walk to Khao San Road. The hotel is tucked in Old Bangkok, which has loads of character, but it's really spacious and airy inside the courtyard, The pool is small but perfectly formed (it's long, just narrow). Restaurant and food was great. Our room was huge and really lovely. Staff were great, and it was very easy to book a taxi to the airport via the hotel.

The hotel is pretty hard to find as it's not on the main road. Drivers have a difficult time finding it. You're better off giving the address of Alice Cafe, which faces the main road, and then just going down the alley a few steps to the hotel, which will be on the right.

This was the perfect place to stay with our young family (4 yrs old and 8 mths old) and aclimatise to Thailand. It offers an oasis of calm in the centre of the city, somewhere to hang out, eat, relax, swim and recharge. The rooms are large and the beds are huge. The breakfast offers a wide range of options to suit most people and the restaurant serves decent meals all day too. There was a lift being fitted while we were there, which will be another useful feature for people with young children, and those with unnecessarily large suitcases. The massage place down the end of the alley is really good and the street food round the corner by the canal is fantastic. The staff are all really nice and allow you too leave bags and hang out before/after check in/out if you need to. I will recommend to my friends to stay here and will stay again myself the next time I'm in Bangkok.

We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the hotel is. Apart from spacious, clean rooms with aircon, adequate storage and excellent beds, it also boasts a lovely courtyard with swimmingpool, under-cover meals area, a fish pond, a separate bar and both sunshine and plenty of shade. The courtyard is a little oasis away from noise and the ideal spot to relax at the end of a busy day or while away the time while waiting for your next flight. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located at a 5 to 10 minute walk from the metro loop and a 15 minute walk from the Grand Palace in an otherwise (relatively) quiet street. There are some nice cafes nearby, although these close early. For evening meals you can use the hotel itself or try the street restaurant that pops up every night almost at its doorstep. The food was delicious and very affordable!
