Guestroom was clean and spacious with great balcony ocean view. Breakfast menu was great versus the buffet over the weekend. I perfer menu options. Waterpark was great suggest adding more chairs to lay down on . Weekends were busy so Xtra chairs would have been great. Entire staff was super friendly!

I was disappointed that the pool was drained on the 2nd day. Although the Waterpark was open, it closed at 530pm versus pool was open until 10pm. They should have kept the Waterpark opened until at least 8pm. Guestroom Bathroom door lock was broken, did not close. Breakfast menu was great versus the buffet over the weekend. I really enjoyed the pools. Customer service at the front desk was professional, helpful and polite. Housekeeping were attentive and respectful. The Plaza of Colón is near by and also the Mayagüez Mall. Waltmart is about 10 minutes away.

I didn’t like the humidity in the bedrooms. Too strong and felt sick (old building). Rugs need to be updated or removed. Bathrooms are from the 1960’s desperately need an update. Bed was confortable pillows were to flat. AC was on blast, super cold.

The food excellent the only disappointment was that everything closes early and also there was no room service as well. When I first got there. I got there around 11 o’clock at night. Everything was closed except the casino. I tried to enjoy myself, but there was no drinks so I ended up playing a little bit and then went to bed.

What I didn’t like, was the fact that there was nobody in the front desk to greet me I had to kinda say hello hello then somebody came out from the back of the room. I guess everybody was in the back that was a little unfortunate for my experience. And also I kept on having trouble with my parking ticket. I had to go to the front about three or four times so they can punch my ticket so I can exit the parking lot.

Generally speaking it was very good... The room (once we got there), was perfect... I did not use the pool, but it looked great. Breakfast and supper were very good. Excellent. The staff was more than excellent.

For somewhat handicapped or elderly persons, the distance between check in, and the newer building, was a long trek. I had to ask for a wheel chair, which was promptly provided. But I do consider that distance between the two buildings quite difficult to manage for handicapped or elderly.

I like that the hotel was almost empty 🙂 We like the pools/water park. We liked the service/staff.

I didn't like that the bathroom was not well maintained. Toilet needs to be changed. Towels were kinda brown color(they were clean tho) The mattress was uncomfortable, really used/old. One of the keys didn't work. I went to the front desk, they said it was fixed, didn't work anyways...but I didn't want to go back so we stayed with one working. I didn't like that breakfast was not included. The food in the restaurant El.Castillo was really good but the pork was not well cooked. Mofongo was good.but I got stomach ache after eating. (Maybe is me, but it happened after eating there) Didn't like that we couldn't even pass water to the water park.

The pools are great! Loved the amount of security and the restaurants were amazing. Above all, the staff and hospitality was fantastic.

The pool hours were a bit complicated with certain ones open certain times etc. The check in time is a little late and you don’t have the option to enjoy the pools prior to checking in unless you pay for a day pass. I think fixing this one policy would make the world of difference for parents and kids who would probably end up spending more at the hotel bars and restaurants

Clean and overall nice.

We were not given the choice to use the pools before check in. Actually, we asked if we could and were told NO, by the front desk staff, so we left. When we came back at check in, I saw a sign indicating that pools would be available before check in for an additional $40. Pp. When I asked the manager why were not given this option when we asked about the pools, he said some people just get upset that they have to pay an additional fee.

The employees,service, and prices

You need to upgrade your lights in hallways, the look is gloomy, your doors need repairs, and you need microwaves in rooms or an accessible place to have one. Rooms smell musty when walking in. Thank you in advance. PS. I check out of the Holiday Inn. Because I love your swimming pool and Ive been here before and told family to come here,

The overall facilities were ok. I liked the customer service since the personnel was very respectful and professional. I also liked that the surroundings (Parking lot, casino, pools, and hallways) were perfectly clean.

The rooms at the older facility should be refurnished to look more aesthetic. Do not misinterpret, the thing is that most furniture still works but it reached its lifespan. A little restoration or the replacement of some furniture will be acceptable since it will give a better aesthetic touch to the rooms.

The staff was so welcoming , helpful and beyond nice and friendly. Dayanara kept our room in top clean condition. Every morning when we saw her in the hallway she would greet us. The day we decided to go to the Lazy River pool it was not working due to electricity issues. The staff let us know immediately what we could go in the pool and that the inner tubes had no charge for the day. Even so, my husband and I had a wonderful time just walking the Lazy River. I
