Bellman Jamil is a very nice staff! he took care of our luggage until taxi, said kind words, smile very sweet as well. And, Thank you to all of staff serviced us, everyone are very friendly and smart! We also like the hotel’s decoration and the sense of architecture, a blend with Western and Eastern’s classical folk elements, really great!

Maybe our Windows’s outside view was not very nice…if the carpet more clean than now would be more relaxed to be barefoot at room…

I’d like to commend the very friendly and accommodating staff - Honey, Evelyn, Pearl, Ridz and Jamil. We were there for 10 days and their friendly ways made it easier to come “home” to the hotel after a day of hard work… free snacks and happy hour drinks too. Perfect!

Although still nice and modern looking, the hotel is beginning to show its age.

Lovely. Location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food recommendations and directions with a smile. It was Charming. Near the metro.

Small room. We had to climb over each other to get out of bed. That was the negative. Especially in the middle of the night. The restaurant was very good but expensive.

Everything was beautiful! The building, location, spacious cozy room, lounge, crew, breakfast, complimentary snacks and drinks… I am so satisfied and glad I chose this hotel for my first time in Singapore. Definitely coming back!

The design of the shower room was a bit hard to use. The water splashes out everywhere and floor gets slippery.

Beautifully decorated hotel lobby and Bar/restaurant area. Opium Room 2 has in room bar set up for self prepared cocktails! Friendly staff and eager to help. Don't always achieve what they promised but they always try!

Unstable in room wi-fi connection. Shower drain was plugged upon arrival, repaired while we were told to be in our room. Time wasted while on holidays. Security safe inoperable upon arrival. Replaced while bathroom drain being repaired, again, time wasted while on holidays. Loose light bulbs in room resulted in flickering lighting. Only one pillow choices - feather filled, not enough support Insufficient storage chest and cloth hanging capacity for a 1 week stay.

Everything was great. We had a very good room. The shutters kept out all street light and much of the sound. The decor was fantastic as were the staff, the breakfast was excellent and would highly recommend. The only comment I would make is the light in the bathroom was not good for putting on makeup... a female issue but all else above standard.

We had 3 excellent nights at the Duxton. Perfect location, amazing food and wonderful staff. Special mention to Jimil, Evelyn and Pearl who made us feel very special every day. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Singapore!

Location was fabulous for exploring Chinatown Breakfast was ok but a bit basic … no hot food available

We had ti change room as bed in Opium Suite had railings around it so you couldn’t even get out of one side of it nor even use a bedside table. Bed in suite which they moved us too was much better but you had to climb up a step to get into the shower and bath… quite unsafe.

The staff went over and above with their helpfulness and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble especially for Jamil and Jay.

great location, slightly run down but the hotel has a unique charm. first two nights I wasn’t satisfied with my room, but staff provided me with a beautiful room for the rest of my stay.
