The bathroom and shower were clean and they had all the amenities necessary. Shampoo, soap, toilet paper, hot water, AC. it even had a really good water dispenser which gave out hot water. I made noodles with that hot water. Staff was helpful too and communicated well. The toilet also had a bidet. there was a refrigerator too. The locker is also useful although I didn't use it. Security is good. even had slippers for guests. It had a lot of self service stuff not even five star hotels would provide, like unlimited water, rubber slippers and a bidet. plug points and lights in each bed were very useful. even gave a good warm blanket.

The bed sheet and pillow case didn't feel clean, my nose itched, they didn't smell the best. but I did see them cleaning them the next morning, Maybe the curtain covering the beds might not have been clean not sure. Maybe it was some dust in something. The beds made loud noise for the slightest movement and the mattress wasn't that comfortable. Could feel the hard surface under the mattress.

Pretty dead center location. walking distance to about everything and next to the train line also if need be. Amenities were minimal but enough. Fridge, hot/cold water to shower/drink, small eat area. Super clean at all times and Jen (staff member) was the best! Maintained the rooms and areas tiptop. She was very kind and also extremely helpful with enquires, all you needed to do was ask. :)

Cozy shared areas, and I mean there was only one toilet and one shower, so mornings and evening were a bit of a wait. Also found it hard to find a place to shave as there was no mirror. Again ask and assistance was available.

- The entire facility was incredibly clean! The guests were not allowed to wear shoes inside the dorm, so I could expect a thorough cleanness. Moreover, the host seemed to clean the room everyday. She changed my bed sheets on the 3rd day of my stay. - The water provided by the water server was cold all the time. It also provides hot water. - I could change the air-con temperature in the room easily. Some hostels are too cold in Singapore. - the host was very helpful. I asked an extension and she was willing to tell me the procedure which was very easy. - good location. Close to tourists sites, local foods and MRT station. The buses were also useful. - there is a 24 hours coin laundry nearby.

The room was clean, there are curtains on the beds giving you privacy. There is drinking water, so you don't have to buy it. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's surprising, how cosy it is despite very little space.

The thin wall doesn't provide barrier against the noise from outside, but luckily the street is not too busy. There is not sink in the kitchen, so you have to wash your dishes in the restroom. Only one toilet and one shower to cover two dorm rooms. It took me a while to find it, google maps doesn't cooperate well.

Centrally located in Chinatown, the CSW hostel provided exactly what I needed for my overnight transfer in Singapore. It provides the bare minimum in a very compact space. I stayed in a shared mixed bedroom and barely noticed any of the other guests. Beds are comfortable and equipped with a reading light, a socket and a curtain. It's right next to a hawker center, which is superb for a local breakfast. Only a relatively short walk away from Marina Bay and Boat Quay, I got the most out of the few hours I had.

It took me about 20 minutes to find the entrance to the actual hostel in a very confusing building, so a few more signs would be helpful.

Lovely little hostel, very simple but VERY very clean and run by a lovely lady who was very helpful and attentive. Beds are great, very private and comfortable. Location is awesome, right on the doorstep of the Chinatown markets and easy walk to the MRT on the Downtown line.

It wasn't really an issue during my stay, but I guess the lack of larger spaces and/or common areas (there's only a few seats out on the covered balcony to sit on), plus faaaairly small bathroom/toilet facility could be tricky for groups or longer stays. But I think that's more just a Singapore (/space) thing, not specific to this great little hostel! Highly recommended!

Ms. Sarah was very kind & gives advices where to go & where to eat etc. Etc. The rooms maybe small but way way better than in HongKong considering the limited dpaces they have & the cost of living. The price was very reasonable.The place was clean

At 1st the place was hard to find l. Its just above the many restaurants along the street. Its just in the level 2 then in the back side. Near the Chinatown complex on the side. Infront of the Complex is the huge Chinese Building.

The people here are so friendly and I remembered I have left my wallet on other bed when I was left to work… they keep it for me and give it back to me when I’m back. It’s really good and I make me wants to come to stay again. The place is really clean and when I arrive, I realised that I didn’t bring any towel and luckily they provide too. Not much hostel that I stay will provide towel but this. No need to worry about shampoo, they provide too .😊😉

Very quiet and a dark room, good privacy curtains. Good aircon. All meant I could sleep in. Every bed had hooks, coathangers, light and multi shaped power plug. Premium beds were wood frame and had a shelf. Standard are metal and no shelving. Quietest bunk beds I've been in. Everything very clean. Helpful friendly staff. Let me do very late check in when my bus was late Right beside Chinatown and information centre. Local food court downstairs and 2 minutes to laundromat. $10 to wash and dry Excellent wifi connection and speed. Large fridge freezer.

There was a cockroach beside my bed in the middle of the night. I hope it didn't come with me from my last place.
