Location, cleaness and the automatic way of the check-in

The staff did not say even “hi” when I arrived, too cold. When I was doing check-out I could not do it through the kiosk. And I was trying to find the box at 2nd floor, and the girl that was working there with a laptop did not say anything to me, like “can I help you?”. She saw me almost desperate to leave, but she was not even pay me attention. She was not nice. Then another person asked her to do check out and she said that the people could leave their cards in the box. But I felt like I could not get help, and she was there. I think the personal should be more active and friendly regarding the people.

superb location (beside chinatown shops and hakwer centre), clean facilities, comfortable bed, large TV in your own capsule, sufficient storage spaces, cleaning ladies were very helpful, they also provide you a bag for your toiletries and clothes to take with you to the bathrooms

front desk (Indian guy) was unfriendly. first, he let me go up and down from 2nd level to their self check in kiosk which was not working. then, when I was checking out and surrendering the key card to that front desk guy, he sighed and told me to do the check out by myself downstairs at their kiosk. he didn't even greeted or thanked me for my stay. Hello, we are not obligated to stay at your place. if you can't be friendly, be at least corteous to your PAYING guests. PLEASE PROVIDE TRAINING OR BRIEFING ON THAT GUY ON GUEST RELATIONS AND BASIC GUEST COURTESY.

Super easy to find, right next to the MRT. Very clean and comfortable. Each capsule has its own air conditioning, so you can adjust it or even turn it off if you want. It's also super dark inside thanks to the blinds. I have recommended this place to my friends who have also stayed here and really like it.

The location is very good. The place is quite fun to stay in with the capsules and not even a bit claustrophobic. The capsule has everything you need. It was clean in the common space and the rooms. Excellent value for money if you need to stay in Singapore city center!

No facility for securely storing larger luggage. It just goes in the room. The bathrooms could be cleaner (there is no staff around at night). The air on us blasting at full speed. I needed to put all my clothes on. Maybe offering a spare blanket would be good if the air con settings are locked. People were keeping to themselves and the common space is tiny.

Fab set up, the most efficient check in I’ve ever experienced. Great clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Self check in process was very easy when I arrived late at night. Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean and there is a no shoes rule to ensure this. The capsules are spacious and have a locker and a fold out table. The smart TV has Netflix, YouTube, prime etc. You can either use Bluetooth headphones or stick aux headphones into the wall to watch the tv. Bathrooms are very clean with hot powerful showers (hot water doesn’t run out) and toiletries. There are dressing tables equipped with hairdryers. The common area has a kitchen equipped with a microwave and hot water with free tea, coffee and biscuits. Location is in the heart of china town with a hawker centre and a MRT station nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There wasn’t a huge social vibe, everyone kept themselves to themselves, but this was a good thing for myself. I felt extremely comfortable and at home here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when I come back to Singapore.

Nothing everything was perfect. I did have a few issues with my tv which the staff were very helpful with but I think tv should probably be replaced as the issues persisted throughout my stay.

It's better compared to a hostel than a hotel since all the amenities are shared. But overall the place is very clean, even the bathrooms. Partially it's because you must take off your shoes before entering. The capsules themselves are fairly spacious and come with everything you'd need next to a bed. Unsure if they allow choosing, but I'd recommend a lower bunk as the upper ones are a little difficult to get into. No weird odors in the kitchen area, unlike many other hostels. It's very clean. Interior design is also very nicely thought out!

The laundry addon is very expensive $14 per wash+dry, and it's self serve. I think there is cheaper options very close by at a local Laundromat. Also a bit annoying to take off and on shoes when moving between the floors to get to the laundry room. The steps to the upper bunks are a sharp metal, which I think could be improved (perhaps padded). But overall this was a great stay!

Our stay at Jyu Capsule Hotel was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the MRT, right in the heart of Chinatown, with plenty of great shops and restaurants just around the corner. It couldn’t have been more convenient. The capsules were well-equipped with all the amenities we needed and had plenty of space to store our belongings, including a secure locker for valuables. Everything was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A lovely bonus was the free water, crackers, and tea, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Singapore!

We recommend to use ear plugs (provided) and a sleeping mask. The light doesn't turn off completely at night and as it is a hostel there's always the possibility of other guests coming in late at night.

Pods were so cute, comfy, and relatively spacious. The location was amazing. Facilities were cleaned regularly. Good space to work. Also, the kitchen had a water refill station, which was super handy.

Some of the staff seemed a bit... hostile. Some were super friendly while others (one woman in particular) seemed to be constantly pissed off. Also, the price ended up being super expensive for what it was. We were told £109 for 3 nights by Booking, which then went up to £119 with taxes. However, we both ended up being charged £133 each (!) for the 3 nights because of additional hidden taxes. I know Singapore is expensive, but if we'd known the final price before, we'd have probably opted to share a room at a bigger hotel.

The location was excellent. On a quiet street in China Town, 1 min from the busy streets. Very close to the metro. It is also in walking distance to the Singapore Lion. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very clean. The beds are very comfortable. You have a little safe and electrical outlet in your capsule. Late check-in was easy.

Room (aircon) was too cold. Depending on your room, you won't have a locker for your backpack or suitcase, just for a daypack. It was no problem since there was enough space to leave it outside your capsule and I thought it was safe to leave it there.
