The staff was friendly and helpful. Lockers under the beds were quite spacious and easy to use. There was no need to carry any keys or keycards. The beds were quite peaceful and dark with the dark curtains. The bedroom was clean. Before arriving we got excellent instructions how to get there from the airport.

In our 16 person bedroom there was only one bathroom (shower+toilet without a sink). In addition there were only three bathrooms for the whole floor with three rooms. So the showers were quite busy. Also you couldn’t really use the toilets without getting your feet wet because the showers were basically on top of the toilet seats. The bathrooms were untidy and the showers didn’t function well. The staff (even male staff) came to our only female bedroom without knocking the door which was a bit uncomfortable.

I stayed in a four person capsule room for three nights and had a great experience! Maybe I lucked out but my roommates were very quiet and respectful, so I had no issues sleeping. The capsule was a wide twin, so there was space to put a few of my things. TV in the capsule was also clutch. Staff were helpful and attentive. Never had to wait for a shower. Breakfast was at the Bohemian, another hostel down the street - and it was great to be able to connect and mingle with other solo travelers! Location is superb - centrally located near two amazing temples, the Maxwell hawker centre, and Chinatown street market.

As others have mentioned, toilets and showers are in the same stall - so, the toilets are always wet. Not the greatest, but could be worse. The blanket provided is nice and soft, but a little small. When I pulled it all the way up to my neck, my feet stuck out a bit lol.

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to someone travelling on a budget and wanting their own space in the dormitory. Staff were very friendly and went extra mile. Rooms were nice and the beds very much gave you private space with a curtain that completely closed it off. Lockers under beds worked well and have their own electronic locking system so don’t need your own padlock. Really appreciated that the staff let me use the shower after checking out when I came to collect my bag in the evening. Was very much needed due to Singapore’s heat!

The toilets are all in the same cubicle as a shower which wasn’t the most ideal as it meant the toilet ends up wet. The breakfast provided is quite basic.

The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The capsules have a good width. I'm 180 and it was still fine and comfortable to get in and stretch my legs. If you're taller than 180, it would be problematic though. It comes with a simple toast and jam breakfast in a nearby hostel. For 45 Euro per night it was more than what I could ask for. The location is extremely good as it's right in Chinatown. You'll be surrounded by hundreds of Chinese eateries and restaurants.

Hot water is sometimes scarse and you might have to wait for a few minutes. The female quarter only had 1 mirror less bathroom with toilet and shower. There are more shower cabins in the all gender bathroom. They only accept cash or PayPal with a fee.

Good location, close to the subway and near to the Chinatown. Good place for stay, room was good

My room was for female but sometimes men workers and customers come to that room, and the worker was man, for the female option, they should employ woman

The location was perfect to even walk to many attractions and the staff was very helpful. Even though you share the room with others you barely notice it once you are inside your pod. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also nice. It is also possible to fit most of your belongings in your locker.

Sometimes you had to wait if you want to use the bathroom because you share it with all of your roommates.

The staff is polite and friendly. The facilities in the hostel is good like the bed is soft enough. The hostel is in the mosque street, located in the area of The Chinatown. I spent 2-3 days exploring here around and it's really an amazing place. You can see Sri Mariamman Temple, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, The Chinatown complex, Chinatown point mall, people's park complex and Thian Hock Keng Temple. I think they are all 5-10 mins walking distance. So you can walk out of the hostel can view these attractions easily. Anyway, I think this is really a good place to stay and travel.

Some equipment are not adequate. The only 4-number washroom is crowded sometimes at night and the area for public chatting and working is limited. Also, with heated wetty weather and sweaty shirt, I think an easier and cheaper way of laundry could be offered. Besides, can any private lockers set up？Like We saw always in the school or mall with block by block, not just under the bed... Lastly, the Singapore travel or hotel tax upset me with unfold tiny area of mentioning it in the booking. Hey why don't you tell us in Direct and straight way？

De location was perfect for a trip to Singapore City! Restaurants everywhere, the Metrostation just around the corner and a big mall next to the Metrostation! The hostel was clean (the lady who cleans the beds and bathrooms really does a great job) and had very friendly people who ran the place. Don't forget the TV with headphones in the capsules! It's such an amazing idea! I would recommend it 100%!

Toilets and showers were not separated.

Amazing staff!! I absolutely appreciated the hospitality and responsiveness to unexpected issues. They are always there to help you solve all the problems you might have, have you taken care of :) Not a social hostel, the room is very quiet (but for my case most of the guests went to bed pretty late). Free breakfast included (toasts and different types of spread, yummy). Good value for money!

Nothing really

The people who worked at reception were really nice and helpful. Even though there is no common room in this building, they are working with the hostel across the street and we could use their common room (this is also the place for breakfast). In my opinion, using the other common room was even better in order to meet even more people, especially as a solo traveler. The room was very dark, but it’s a good thing for privacy. It had good wifi and a screen in each capsule. Great location, so many other hostels around there and it’s a 2-3 minute walk to the metro station. They also plan sightseeing tours at reception and it is a great way to see parts of the city with other solo travelers. I would recommend it for solo female travelers as well.

The space underneath where you store your things would not fit a large size luggage, if you bring a small one you will be fine though. Plus, the bathrooms were not in such a good condition, they were a bit dirty in general.
