The bed was very comfortable the aircondition was very good the water had a good pressure nice shower and plenty of hot water Brilliant Pub downstairs with good beers and if you love a whisky this is the place. Chinatown is a brilliant place to stay Singapore is well worth a visit

The room was a bit on the small side but thats the norm for most of the hotels in Chinatown

The location is perfect! Staff are friendly.

We had a few issues with the facilities, for example the kettle has a fault and didn't turn off once boiling. The handle would get very hot and burnt to touch. Also our room door card lock system ran out of batteries on the morning we had to leave for a flight. We had to wait for a staff member to come to work with a master key to let us in for our bags. We missed a train but luckily still arrived in time for our flight but it created a huge stress! Credit to the young night worker who had to deal with the situation and tried everything he could to help out.

I like the location of the hotel, walking distance to Chinatown, Lau Pa Sat & Merlion Park..easy access to MRT station too..lots of other restaurants nearby..I was also happy to see there was a bidet hose attached in the toilet..that's a relief!

The bath towel smells bad when it gets wet during drying my body after shower & I almost puke when I smelled it..i can even smelled it on my skin too 🤢 I have to take another shower then use the small towels which were more pleasant-smelling

That the whole ensuite floor became wet when showering . There was no where dry to stand when getting dressed.

This was our second time staying at Southbridge. It’s our go-to when visiting Singapore. It is central and within walking distance to our favourite places and not expensive to stay.

Nothing. For a room that’s above a whiskey bar and live music, you think you’d hear it all but the room was quiet and comfortable.

Very close to Chinatown metro station. Very clean. Every day the towels were changed, bed was made and given two bottles of water. Soap and shampoo were provided. Very good air con kept us cool.

The room is basic and good for a short time stay. With the location, i would say, the price is affordable and just nice wih the length of stay. The ground floor of the building is a bar and its suprisingly doesnt disturb the peace you need when you need to rest inside the room. Probably because I stayed in the higher floor. Convenience store, mrt, bus stop and other food hub are near. The place is secured with access key cards needed before you can access the lift. You will like the place as it is near in Chinatown, and Chinatown has a lot of place and things to do too.

The room is visibly dusty and theres a distinctive smell of wood and dust. The aircon top neither the top areas of the furnitures are not wipe clean. The exhaust are not clean either. Some or most of the towels were stained.

No breakfast.

The TV model can be updated to allow access to streaming websites. Staff was very kind and informative on various locations like the nearest laundromat and restaurants. Room was always cleaned up before we came back. Overall, solid 9/10.

The location is amazing right in the Chinatown. Downtown is a 5 minutes walk and the metro station is a 3 min walk. The room isn't big but we had enough place with our bags. We had a problem with the bathroom light and it was fixed immediately. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet, I would go again if I go back to Singapore, best quality/price.

The AC isn't working when you are not in the room so it gets hot and smell like damp. But after a couple minutes it gets better.

The staff at reception were accomdating with luggage storage whilst away abroad with return to base. There were many great restaurants in the area with MRT (DT19) around the corner for ease of travel to and from international airport. Plus...there's a great whiskey bar downstairs as part of the hotel.
