My single room at Heritage Collection Chinatown was exceptionally comfortable — modern, clean, quiet, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The location was unbeatable, with three diverse heritage places of worship (a Hindu temple, a mosque, and a Buddhist temple) right across the road, along with three hawker centres offering hundreds of affordable local meals. It was also just a short walk to cultural spots, pre-war shophouses, and the vibrant Clarke Quay area with its trendy restaurants and nightlife along the Singapore River.

The only minor drawback was the self check-in process, which required downloading an app, uploading ID and payment details to get a digital key, and using this App to get in the hotel as well as my room didn’t work at all for me. However, the staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and quick to assist.

Mary, Maica and Carms were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked. The studio was very well placed in Chinatown. You just cross the street, walk 200m down Pagoda Street opposite and you're in Chinatown Metro station, which is also a hub for several other metro lines, making is easy to explore uptown and downtown. Plenty of eateries and bars close by - having explored Singapore for 10 days, I'd say CHinatown is the best base to use for the rest of the city.

Initially I couldn't get the door entry app to let me in, but Mary and the other staff helped out and after that it was no problem.

Location, Location, location. This hotel couldn't be in a better location. It's 4 minutes away from both the Chinatown complex and Maxwell and about 9 minutes from Lau Pa Sat. The hotel itself was very clean and well-stocked. I had some issues getting the app to work to let me in the room and the staff was so responsive! Yani tried to help me troubleshoot and when that didn't work Shannen and Mary on site swooped in to help. I would 1000% stay here next time I am in Singapore. (Also, the bed was super comfy but most importantly, the pillows were great! Super important for a good night of sleep. And the adapter in the room was a nice touch)

Because the hotel is only staffed from 9am to 6pm, storing luggage got a bit tricky but this can be worked around. The hotel was very accommodating and tried as much as possible to help out

The space! I was upgraded to an apartment which spacious and had everything I could need. Very pleased. And the place was so quiet. I thought it would be noisy because there were a few bars on the street but I didn't hear a thing outside. The staff was very sweet and kept checking in - Shout out to Divina, Joelle and Yani! They were prompt on text and made my stay super convenient! Would stay again:)

I wish there was housekeeping. Though I didn't ask for it either because I stayed for less than a week, so I'm not sure if it would've been accommodated.

The location was great and the room whilst small had everything we needed. The place was clean and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. We did experience difficulty getting the digital key( We are not great with technology. We put it down to age) but the communication via What’s App was excellent and we were able to gain entry into the room and then they sent someone to get the digital key working for us. The room was cool when entered. We did love the communication to check in on us to make sure everything was okay. The rate for the room was very good and we would really recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thank you.

We booked a loft for 2 nights. It was very good value for money. The location is amazing, you are close to the public transport and Chinatown market is 2 second away for light souvenir shopping and ahopping centre is 10 min walking distance. Overall very good, I liked the free laundry facilities and Mary and Yani were great. They answered all of our questions very quickly and even hold our suitcases after checkout as we had a late flight. I would definitely recommend and stayed again.

Only thing I didn’t like was that for a serviced apartment the kitchen was a bit under equipped.

Location was ideal. With two MRT stations nearby, lots of food outlets as well as the Maxwell hawker centre. The room was quiet - with air conditioning & dehumidifier. The room was compact but had good storage and had fridge, microwave.

The laundry machines - one washer is broken, I couldn't get the other to power on - I went to the laundromat across the road instead. Whilst digital check in can be handy, I was paranoid my phone battery would die or my phone would be stolen and id be unable to re-enter the property! The room was clean but the furniture was a bit tired/dated.

The location was AMAZING. Central to so many things, walkable distance to a lot of sightseeing and great restaurants and bars. It was right next to an amazing bar too! Customer service was top notch - Belle, Stella and Divina were so easy to communicate with and always very responsive. They made my stay the best.

Laundry was restricted to certain hours, which was a bit of an inconvenience but also understandable because it's to not disturb other guests. Also the walls are a bit thin so you could hear people in the hallway, etc but it was not too bad.

Location was excellent. Near to four great hawker centres and two tube lines. Room itself is small but functional with a washing machine and tumble dryer. We stayed for 7 nights. Room was cleaned on day 4. There is a notice to say towels won't be changed but we were able to wash and dry them ourselves so not a problem. Only issue was a constant smell of damp. They gave us a dehumidifier which worked well to reduce the humidity in the room. A bit annoying but really not a concern to us. Loved our stay.

Absolutely phenomenal location as it is in the centre of Chinatown. Walkable to Lau Pa Sat, Maxwell Centre and just opposite the Chinatown Street Market. It is close to the Chinatown MRT and buses to Gardens by the Bay. If you're having trouble checking in, no need to worry as the staff Yani, Maica and Mary were all ready to assist. I was a little apprehensive about checking in without staff initially but a quick message made everything to much easier. A quick response was provided and Mary was available to assist in person in less than 60 seconds - fantastic customer service! Mary was also onsite to assist with the laundry facilities which was great. In terms of facilities, I was impressed by how the air con and the dehumidifier was already turned on before check in so being able to walk into a cool room was excellent. Unlike other hotels, lots of coat hangers were provided as well as a full sized fridge and freezer and good quality tissues and toilet paper. Overall, dedicated and friendly staff, easy to find, great location and fantastic amenities provided.

Just remember to bring slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush as they are not provided owing to the hotel's sustainability goals. There is a hot water button near the light switches that needs to be switched on 15-20 minutes if you want hot water for a shower. Just need to remember to switch it on when coming back to the hotel after a long day.
