Hi, I’m a filipina, if you’re hesitant because of the reviews please don’t. My family and I arrived early (12 in the afternoon) and they allowed us to have checked in early which I really appreciated. The hostel was very very nice for it’s price, we booked one room for 4 (the family room) and it was spacious and the ac was very cool as well. The showers were nice cause it comes with a heater, and what I really like is there are blowers in each comfort rooms, there are also bidet. You might see at the reviews that it is unsanitary or whatsoever because u leave your shoes at the shoe rack, but it is very disciplined and more clean in that way. Also, the people there were so nice! Anyways, please don’t hesitate to book beat arts hostel, it has a very good accommodation in a cheap price. My family and I rate this place 10/10 🥰🩷

Kitchen Space: The kitchen is small but functional. Exceptional Cleanliness: They clean non-stop, which is highly appreciated. Exceeded Expectations: Given my past bad experiences with dirty hostels and bed bugs in Singapore, I was impressed with the high cleanliness standards.

Issues Encountered: No major issues, but the space is quite small.

For a hostel, it was quite nice overall. The staff were accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags before check-in, which was very helpful since we arrived early. We were also lucky that our room was located close to both the front desk and the restroom.

The shower room was clean, which I appreciated. However, the hook for clothes was placed quite high, a bit inconvenient for someone petite like me. The toilet cubicle was also quite cramped. That said, considering it's a budget hostel, it met expectations and overall, the stay was good.

The location is just perfect, many food options nearby. Free water refill, kitchen and a dining area available. (So much more in terms of facilities than I expected tbh!). Rooms are small but so are apartments of people who live in Singapore - it’s just the way it is in this country, so don’t dwell on it too much ;) Lockers available in the dorm room, hot shower, two sinks on the 2nd floor. The check in is super easy and straightforward. WiFi works great. The place is being cleaned regularly. Honestly great value for money, I’d stay here again.

Superbly clean and comfortable. Very hardworking staff keeping it comfortable for guests. Strategic location in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown with many places of interest to explore within walking distance. Good value for the price for staying.

Lost my card key. I had to grab it when I saw it lying on top of a luggage bag which a guest was packing after I returned from the shower. The next morning she checked out before I awoke. For security, suggest changing the code entry to deter others from entering our rooms, especially for the female forms.

Location was perfect! Walk to MRT, temples, Chinatown, Maxwell Hawker stalls. Bed comfy, showers had hot water, bathrooms and toilets always clean

Said "Breakfast Times" on booking which of course made you think that breakfast was included, but it wasn't ☹️. They said there was free tea and coffee but it had all run out 3 of the 4 mornings I stayed ☹️. Staff not that friendly or over helpful. The bed lights are too bright so if one person had their lamp on in the 12-bed room, the whole room lit up.

Overall, the place is clean with basic amenities. The room (I got an upper bunk) is quite comfortable to sleep, they cleaned the toilet every morning, when I got back to the hostel later at night it still pretty much clean and everything is in order. The dining area has basic amenities and they have vending machines for soft drinks and cup noodles if you are hungry in the middle of the night. Self check in is quite convenient as I arrived late and their instruction is quite clear. Location wise, it situated within walking distance to MRT Chinatown & MRT Maxwell and bus stop. For muslim traveller, masjid india is just across the hostel you can conveniently pray there.

Beds are comfortable and clean. The best part of this hostle is it's location. It's a solid place to stay if your priority is good location.

I seen a couple hostiles and this one is just average. Maybe I am setting the bar to high but many hostel's organized events or bar crawls. Setting up a atmosphere to meet other people but this place is mostly just for sleep.

- The location js perfect, near two MRT stations and bus stations. It is also near two hawker centers. - The self-check in was efficient and convenient for late-night/early morning arrival.

- The stairs were a bit steep, we need to be careful especially when carrying luggage. - I didn't like it when my stuff was tidied up in my bed without my permission. Nothing was lost though, but I should have been informed beforehand.

Perfect location. Lights on each bed. Beds are comfortable. Hot water in the shower, clean bathroom. Polite and friendly receptionist. Good communication with public transport.

Small room for 6 beds. Not easy to move. No curtains for privacy. There's no space for leaving my clothes when having a shower so I had to leave it outside. No a/c in kitchen and living room.
