The hotel is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from the Chinatown exit on Pagoda Street (Exit A). The room features a single bed, positioned next to a wash basin, a small fridge, a safe discreetly tucked into a desk, a small stool, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The en-suite bathroom includes a standing shower with the usual amenities: toiletries, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.

There are a couple of minor inconveniences - remember to lower the toilet seat cover before showering to avoid getting the seat wet, and the air conditioning control panel is located near the door, requiring you to get out of bed to adjust the temperature. Despite these small issues, staying at this charming hotel has been a pleasure.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Chinatown station. This proximity to public transport makes it incredibly easy to explore the city and access some of the best Hawker centres in Singapore, where you can enjoy a variety of delicious local foods. The room was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities you might need. It was more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. The staff, the housekeeping and reception, were consistently friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay.

the location was great, close to all the main sights as well as metro and bus stations, had the deluxe room for one person, it was the perfect size for one. the hotel rooms are new and clean

you have to pay extra for early check in, 20 dollar for each hour. the walls, door and windows are really thin so it’s noisy but luckily i was there on weekdays so at night eventually it got quiet outside.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to the China Town MRT, also fairly close to the Downton area and only a few stops away from Bayfront. It was extremely convenient to be able to just be able to pop back into the room in the middle of the afternoon when for a quick rest bite before heading back out.

The room was quite small, but that was to be expected. There was some construction work nearby, so that was pretty noisy, and I think the hotel is undergoing some refurbishment, so one of the elevator was out of action but that wasn't too much of an issue. We initially got checked into an executive twin room on the ground floor with no window because all of the executive twin rooms with the window were taken. But we got moved the following day. The executive room without a window is slightly larger than the one with a window, but we'd still take the natural light over the extra room.

Perfect place with just about everything within reach. Location was strategic - about a 2-minute walk from Chinatown MRT and an 8-minute walk from Maxwell MRT. Also very close to dozens of eateries, including authentic Chinese cuisines and Maxwell food centre, as well as street markets within 5-10 minutes. Attractions such as the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Thian Hock Keng Temple, Sri Mariamman Temple, and Masjid Jamae were close by. The hotel itself was very clean and smelled fragrant right from the lobby. The room was very clean, although was it as small as expected.

For two people, the deluxe room was rather a tight space but was still manageable. The room walls were not sound-proof as conversations from next-door rooms could be heard. Noises from the streets and patrons of restaurants operating till midnight could be heard, but it was not extremely distracting.

The hotel's location is very good, as it is very convenience to MRT station, convenience stores and lots of foods and restaurants. However, one thing that need to be taken into consideration is - If you are someone who need to sleep in total quiet, then you might need to consider again, or request for a room which is not facing the road. This is because the rubbish truck comes around 1.30 - 2.00 every midnight to collect the rubbish from the restaurants opposite and will create noise. However, this is not a big deal for me. Also, during my travel time, the hotel is very new due to rebranding, hence the facilities are good, and the stay is very very comfortable! Will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again!

The staff was amazing, and took extra time to make the experience great despite the hotel being under heavy construction. They were always able to help me find a local shop or to direct me to walk where I needed to go. Cabs were called promptly, and everyone was excellent. I also saw them handle some very awful customers VERY professionally and kindly. 10/10 for staff.

Its centrally located and brand new, as well as spotlessly clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason for the 8 points are the paper thin walls. You can hear people taking a shower, talking or just entering their rooms, also the bed was a little hard for my liking. I think if they soundproof the rooms and upgrade the mattresses its going to be a 10+ place because its amazing besides these two things.

the room we stay had a lock door to another room. it was not sound proof, so we can hear what next door is doing, even louder when they are intimate. It happen quite often during our stay walking up and down the steps when we are asleep, hear them taking shower late at night etc…

The location is excellent, surrounded by small, busy restaurants in an area with the kind of character sorely missing from most of Singapore. The room was very compact but beautiful, clean and cool. We slept well. For Singapore this is great value for money.
