Everything. The location is amazing, just across the road from Chinatown MRT. The room is as the photo shows. I think it has been renovated relatively recently, and the room is cleaned well. The room is equipped with a big mirror, hair dryer, safe, kettle, fridge, glass mugs (perfect if you want to have beer), and very reasonably priced instant noodles incase you get peckish. The double bed is on a larger side. Aircon works very well. Very friendly, helpful and efficient front desk. I particularly liked that there was a note in the elevator prompting customers to be aware of the noise levels. I don't know if it's because of that, but I had no issues with the noise from within the hotel. There was some outside noise, as it is a heritage building and the building is facing a busy street, but it did not bother me too much. It also has a Chinese restaurant, famous for Popiah right next door.

Considering price vs location, I would have rated 10 if the glass screen between the shower and toilet was a little longer (my shower skills didn't allow me to keep the toilet side dry..) There is no wardrobe (which is clear from the room photos) but of course it would be nice to have one.

The location was excellent for foodies. Right in Chinatown, options galore. Close to Maxwell Food Centre. And, the best part of all, across the street from a train station with lines to all popular attractions.

Would have loved an in-house laundry facility at the hotel. Lots of sweating = lots of washing.

Located at the intersection of two major thoroughfares, but we requested a quiet room and that’s what we received. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea replaced daily, along with a water boiler in room. Good water pressure, thermostat worked well, and bed was comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to all that Chinatown offers, and directly across the street from Chinatown MRT station.

Shower and toilet only partially separated. Not great value for the money, but that’s Singapore (recently named world’s most expensive city). One consolation is that there are several delicious hawker centres nearby, where you can take meals on a budget.

Great location and while our room was small, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The MRT was right across the street which was so convenient.

Walls are not totally soundproof but the hotel has quiet hours which helped minimize any potential for noise.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Right across the hotel was the Chinatown MRT station. The hotel was surrounded by loads of cuisines with easy access to shopping complexes that houses various food courts.

The lack of storage space such as wardrobes, hanging racks and hangers for clothes. The clothing rack was right above the little kitchenette where drinks/kettle was positioned which made it an inconvenient for guests to hang their clothes. The lack of wardrobe or hanging space meant that we had nowhere to hang our clothes and they ended up being creased as we had to just drape our clothes onto our luggages and/or left them in our luggages.

Location is fantastic, short walk to Maxwell MRT. even though it is directly opposite Chinatown MRT most destinations for us were out of maxwells. Walking distance to everywhere if you wanted. we walked home from Marina Bay via Lau Pa Sat hawker centre one night and didn't realise how close everything is, obviously easier by metro. Plenty of restaurants around and Hawker centres nearby. plenty of coffee choices around too . Easy access to hotel and room was comfortable.

Air con was a bit hit and miss, woke in a sweat one night and had to sort of reboot aircon by turning off and on. we had to do this several times during our stay. A bathroom that wets everything including toilet , but is pretty standard in most Asian hotels so not a deal breaker for us. Window that you were unable to open or use- was sort of boarded up and locked, only a tiny bit of light in the top but again we were only coming back to sleep so not a big deal.

Perfect location in Chinatown....everything felt accessible and walkable. The room was super clean and the A/C works beautifully. They sell water and ramen for a lower price than you find at 7eleven. There is a drying rack, fridge and large mirror. Bed is super comfy!

Note there is a lift but it does not go up to the last floor (so in our case, we had to take the suitcases one flight up a spiral staircase after the lift). Room is also pretty small and has a slanted ceiling, plus no windows. Price is a little high but such is the case in Singapore.

I had a layover from Dubai- Sydney, and I have only around 17 hrs layover in Singapore, therefore, I told the lady in the reception when I arrived at 10AM that I booked this hotel only for sleeping and I will be checking few hours before my 1 AM flight. The check-in time was supposed to be at 3PM, but she was kind enough and looked for ways to let me check-in before 1PM. Thanks for the people in the reception, who had great customer service, I was able to relax and sleep well before my next flight. I will be back on Jan 5 for another layover, and I will be booking this hotel again and in my future flights. Thank you Bliss hotel staff.

The hotel's location was exceptional, close to the best attractions both day and night. The room was indeed small. When the refrigerator didn't work, we let them know, and they moved us immediately. It was very clean and modern inside, and from the outside, it was clear that it was a historic building, very similar to others in the neighborhood, that surely couldn't have undergone major modifications, hence why some rooms didn't have windows.
