Located in Chinatown, it is right between 2 MRT stations, Chinatown and Maxwell, offering access to 3 MRT lines in total. Plus the multiple bus stops nearby made travelling to the various tourist spots a breeze. Shops right outside the hotel were great especially the dessert right beside the hotel entrance is a must try. Chinatown's annual Chinese New Year bazaar was also in operation when we stayed and allowed us to get a lot of snacks for family back home.

Can consider to retrofit windows for better noise insulation or heavier set curtains for the same effect.

The building and room are traditional Singaporean with lovely tiles in the bath and hall. As such it's also a bit worn looking so you need to be able to see past this to appreciate it. We were initially given a room that faced a wall and we asked to be switched to one facing the street (we like street noises and preferred the view of the beautiful buildings across the road). They switched us with no problem. We also noticed a light burnt out in the bathroom which I asked them to replace and the did so the same day while we were out. The staff is very accommodating so don't hesitate to ask for what you need. The location is great - right in Chinatown.

The place is a bit worn out and we couldn't open the slates of one of the window shutters to let more light in. A bit of a refreshment and upgrade would make this a great place.

The location was excellent! The place has been recently renovated so everything is nice and new. The linen is excellent and bed is comfortable.

The lift is a little difficult to use and guests don’t realise that they have to manually shut it after every use otherwise it won’t go work for the next person waiting for it. There’s a lot of street noise unfortunately. The windows should be double glazed.

A really great choice for a cosy and quiet stay near the centre of Singapore. Hotels seem really expensive here, and not great value for money, so for me The Inn at Temple Street was a great find. I had a comfortable and quiet room, and appreciated the fridge, kettle and powerful air-conditioning. A very walkable distance from Chinatown MRT, and most of the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay in Singapore!

Compact, clean, reasonable price for Singapore. Room was comfortable and nice decor all over

No lift especially missed if you older and disabled. No food whatsoever . But breakfast of sorts outside in some restaurants , very difficult to find The property very small sign saying 36 and ever small hotel sigh , they need a better notice of where property is on the street

2nd stay here and it was a great stay, ease of access to lots of locations is the big plus point! Short walk to the MRT and with a total of 3 MRT lines within walking distance, it was very convenient for travelling.

They could have put more toiletries in the bathroom without us asking, the tubes of body wash were very small..

The location is amazingly strategic whereby the Chinatown MRT Station is right behind it. Nearby is filled with all the eateries and souvenir shops, and even one shop selling China stuff whereby you can buy 3 bottle drinks for just $2. The room itself is smaller but it is a common thing in Singapore where they have scarce land. The room is compact with what have equipped, the bed is not too soft nor too hard, overall I'm satisfied with what I had. Despite located at a very busy place, they have their security done well whereby after certain hours at night, you can only access to the premise with your hotel card and not any random person can just bump into the premise.

The light is bit too dim in the room, no hairdryer.

Room was sufficiently cold for the warm muggy nights of May and that was very appreciated.

2nd stay here, room was not prepped as cleaning equipment was inside the room that I was assigned to. Thankfully it was promptly resolved by the front desk and I was assigned another room.

Rooms are clean and feel comfortable. They are very approachable in terms of any request regarding our stay. They change bed mattress and clean the trash everyday.

They dont have elevator, and they do housekeeping without your knowledge. It goods to see the room was cleaned but our things was left there, maybe they can informed the guest if they will do the housekeeping so we can put our personal things on our luggage before we go out of our room.

Great location if you don't mind the durians of Chinatown! For a business traveler it's easy to walk around, catch the MRT or get a Grab car. Staff is nice and there's luggage storage after check-out.

Facilities a bit old - the sink had a leak which made the bathroom floor perpetually damp, and the air conditioning made a musty humidity. Noise from the street until midnight, but OK after that
