Hotel location is brilliant. 5 minute walk to Maxwell and Outram Park MRT stations and plenty of buses around too. Very close to the main sights in Chinatown whilst being far enough away to avoid the noise and congestion of a touristy area. Plenty of bars and restaurants around too. Beds are quite comfy, air conditioning is good and showers are nice.

There is a bar/dining room next to the reception which didn't appear to be in use (aside from storage of luggage). Not a big problem as plenty of options nearby. There is very little/no natural light in the rooms so not ideal for spending time relaxing (e.g. in the morning for a sleep in). Rooms are also quite small, as to be expected in Singapore.

Ice cold water for free. The safe was broken and they change it in 30 minutes. For a very small room it met our expectations and was actually in the end more comfartable as what we have think it would be in the beginning.

The option I have booked included breakfast. On arrival I was told they do not serve breakfast anymore but give us vouchers for the same breakfast everyday. No options, so my kids ending up not eating breakfast and I have to pay additional form them. Rather then exclude breakfast as an option totally. This would have change my decision to probably stay somewhere else if I have knew this beforehand.

A very nice location where there are cool restaurants both local and not nearby. Outram Park MRT station is about 600 m walk but a new (have yet to open) MRT station (Maxwell) is a 2 minute walk from the Hotel.

They could have cleaned the room and bathroom more. I end up wiping the floor with baby wipes because it is dusty but overall, it is a decent hotel for a group of 4 if you get the Family room.

Location was exceptional- the building was beautiful and well stocked with what we needed. The loft bed was fantastic for our teenager, I wouldn’t put young children up there as the steps were so steep. Both were comfortable beds. Two sinks so not reliant on bathroom sink for hand washing or kettle. The view from the gorgeous old window were lovely

It was so cramped -nowhere to put luggage so you could easily access it. There was space under the bed. The shower drain did not flow and water was everywhere. Air conditioning did not get cold enough and did not get in to where the lower bed was. There was no hand soap for hand washing at either basin. The toilet was a very confined, uncomfortable space with knees bumping the wall.

Location of the hotel was excellent! There are a vast & wide selection of eatery located near the hotel. On one side, one can find chic & modern-looking coffee house & restaurant. Just around the corner, there are traditional coffee place & market.

We booked a small room (street side), somehow it was quite noisy. We mentioned that to the hotel staff and the same day they got us another room (loft) which was way less noisy. Beds are comfortable and everything was clean, tv's, lights, power outlets, aircon etc. all worked properly in both rooms. I also really liked the design and the control panel above the bed where you can control all the lights and the airconditioning.

First room was noisy and small, makes it difficult to store suitcases/backpacks.

The room was good. Clean, enough space for one person, good supplies like shower cap, slippers, and clean room in general. The stuff was extra helpful and super nice. Location is great, easy access and great food around both Michelin stars and local food.

I stayed in a loft and the stairs was extremely steep. Don’t book this room if you have kids, or with senior people. It’s actually quite scary at night, if you need to go to the toilet.

Good rooms with Nice facilities. Overall very good and cormfortable stay.

The rooms was very small and I didn’t like that you could always look into the bathroom because it was glass. And if you are tall you couldn’t sit on the toilet with the door closed.

The location was good, the room was clean and cozy. I've read that you could hear the subway beneath and noise from surrounding bars, while it is true it wasn't disruptive to my sleep as both the subway and bar closes after a certain time. I didn't think that it was a deal breaker. overall good experience.

The bed in my room (the loft) was a little too firm and not the most comfortable.
