Lovely stay! When we arrived we were informed by staff that the air con unit had broken in our booked (medium) room. Due to availability, they put us in a small room for 2 nights, then a large room with a kitchenette for the remaining 4 nights. The small room was comfortable and had space for suitcases on the floor. On ground floor so we were a little worried about noise, but was quiet and had no issues. The communal kitchen was always very respectful and clean! The large room on the top floor was really great, well stocked kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, allowed us to cook meals easily! Nice chilled vibes in the 'common room' with comfy chairs, desk space, wifi and coffee machine, kettle etc (amazing place to work remotely!). Good location, 10 mins walk to small shopping centre and supermarket (called 100AM), can walk into Tanjong Pagar (lovely area) and Chinatown (and further afield but probably too hot). Excellent links to and easy to use public transport system. Free luggage storage, friendly staff. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The location is great. However, to appreciate it, one needs to walk around and understand where you are. It is rather central. There are plenty of bus routes at the door or nearby, and you can get anywhere. Metro is five minutes on foot. Also, food courts, a supermarket and other shops are five minutes or less on foot. The staff is friendly indeed. I didn't have an adapter matching the local outlets, and I was given one to use while there. I requested an extra bed sheet (I sleep under a bed sheet rather than under a blanket), and it was brought to my room right away. By the way linen, blanket, pillows are of high quality, white and clean. It is crucial to have WhatsApp - that's the only way to communicate with the staff. For those who need a kitchen, there is one in the office lounge, which also has several computer stations and sofas to hang around. The crowd seems friendly, considerate, and polite.

The door's closing mechanism is too strong, which leads to practically slamming the door when closing. Since no one would hold the door, it slams when closing after leaving or coming. So, if there are a lot of people going in and out, you will be "enjoying" the loud noise. I was lucky the first days in that regard. But my last two nights were challenging.

Very good as a co workikg space which acts as a great place to meet other residents. Staff were very good and helped out a lot. Rooms and facilities are newly renovated and spacious fir singapore standards. Great jungle garden and free coffee and use of the fridge is great. Overall I would describe it as a very fancy hostel with your own room. Yoga/gym studio is good idea but needs more work.

The room walls are thin to the corridor so you can hear activity outside. The pool wasnt cleaned often but is still working. The jungle garden does attract insects. Location is too far for walking even to tanjong pagar, nothing is close, but if you are happy with getting taxis and using grab delivery it can be a great place to stay.

Hmlet Cantonment provides an affordable place to stay coupled with a cosy coworking space. It’s conveniently located near 2 MRT stations, different bus stops and sprawling Tanjong Pagar.

The rooms aren’t quite soundproofed so if you are located on the ground floors you will hear every single footstep in the hallway as if they were happening right next to your pillow.

I stayed for 2 months. The rooms are very spacious and the shower facilities fantastic. The general cooking and socialising areas are also very comfortable and feel welcoming. More like a condo feel than a hotel. I had a few issues with my room at the beginning regarding a blocked shower drain and AC that wasn’t really working and once I raise the issues they were fixed within 24 hours. I would also like to extend a special thanks to Nancy on the desk who was friendly to show me the facilities and help when I accidently lovked myself out my room!

The bedding could have been a bit softer but I understand that is subjective.

I stayed here for two weeks as my temporary house in Singapore while I arranged by own apartment. Everything about Habyt is extremely convenient. * First and most importantly, all staff was VERY nice, they helped me navigate my first weeks here and everything around my room. * Second, they have everything you might need. From printing, scanning, workplaces with monitors, internet was reliable everywhere, shared kitchenette and free coffee (very good machine by the way)! The snacks fridge was very good as well. * Thirdly, they can take deliveries for you (I was unsure before booking, but they can and will be very proactive). * Fourth, price is by far the best relationship bang for the buck. in terms of rooms, I stayed in he Medium and the Extra Large (has washing machine, but there’s also public ones in the building), a fridge and kitchenette. Both were good. With the XL being significantly larger and comfortable. Quality and cleanliness were on point.

This was my second time to stay as I like the set up of the property.

I am a single senior travel from Toronto to give my in-law a surprise on her birthday. But after I check in I was told I hadn’t paid then they asked me to leave within 24 hours. It was so stressful for me as I got the confirmation on my payment so I call my husband to show the bank’s transaction but they said that they not received it. That was late the night so next morning I went to the reception and showed all the details to the manager and somehow he found it and not explaining to me how this happened. It was brutal for me at the the age 73 travelling from a long flight and getting this. Here I give credit to Booking.com the customer service was so helpful when I told them the issue they promised to find me accommodation.😍

Location was great - quiet, area but multiple nearby transport, eatery and supermarket options. Habyt was found to be clean and stylish, friends used the pool, I liked that the venue included an elevator. Building security was good, and I liked that there was a safe spot for people to wait for a Grab/Taxi, no risk of being on the side of a busy road. Staff were friendly, prompt and responsive.

Too many powerpoints.... Joking! It's hard to find a fault when staying at Habyt, just see their description in addition to the newly opened nearby 100AM shopping centre, which means that there are a few more eateries, supermarket, Muji, Daiso and DonDonDonki in close proximity for last minute purchases or meals.

The proximity to everything. Close to public transport. The staff are all so friendly and willing to help. The reception area is also like a co-working space so you can do work and relax. Comfy furniture. The communal area you can make unlimited tea/coffee for FREE. The use of the communal kitchen is also FREE. There’s also a wellness studio that you are free to use. We didn’t use the pool but there’s also a pool. BIDET in bathroom and AIRCON in the indoor facilities. The vending machines also have fair prices for snacks! Would stay again if I stay in the area!

This place was great for our needs. Perfect for travellers. If you are more vacationer or if you care about aesthetics maybe you’ll be disappointed of some aesthetics of the room but they are all good and functioning. For us it’s not a problem but they will only service the room every 4 days buuut again staff are great if you need extra towels, refill on toilet paper or anything - just go to reception or message on WhatsApp.

Excellent location, different metro lines and bus stops within walking distance. Away from noisy city center, yet accessible. Room pretty small but for 1 person doable. Handy drawers available to unload your stuff. Great shower, never had any issues with the water. Filtered water fountain available, as well as free coffee. Forgot to buy a socket adapter and could lend one from the reception during my stay.

The pool looked unused and uncleaned but didn't check properly. The doors don't isolate well and people come & go in the middle of the night, so you can hear them talking in the hallway. The safe battery was dead but wasn't usable anyway as it was too small to put in a small laptop. Horrible lighting in the bathroom if you want to have a shave. Promised to send me information via whatsapp but never received. No universal wall sockets.
