The hotel is very close to the city center. It was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. The breakfast was good value, with a variety of food.

They advertise the spa place only to find out when you check in that you need to make a reservation and you are allowed only 1h inside that area. Even though we asked a few days before the arrival if we needed to inform anyone about wanting to go to the spa and they said no, we were told when checking in that the spots for that day were gone and we could only go the next day. Also, they do not provide the rooms with bath robes and slippers for the spa, so bring your own.

The hotel is easily reachable by bus from the train station, located pretty close to the city center. The receptionists are helpful and answer every question you have. The room was pretty spacious, with a smart tv and a mini fridge. We rented a executive room with a hydromassage bathtub, everything worked well with it and we enjoyed a relaxing evening. There are enough diverse options for breakfast, it is served in a clean, nice dinner room. We didn't have any problem with the cleanliness, the room and the bath, the sheets and the towels were pretty clean when we arrived. I couldn't hear any noises from the other rooms.

I also tried a relaxation massage, for which you have to pay additionally 200 lei, which was not worth it. The masseuse was pretty nice, but the bed wasn't a massage bed, you didn't have any place to put your head on, you couldn't relax on that bed, it was a basic gurney. The mattresss wasn't comfortable, i had a backpain in the morning because of it. The entire look of the room and the furniture seem pretty old and outdated.

Hotel Ambient has an excellent location close to the city centre and friendly and helpful staff. The room was bigger than expected and surprisingly quiet, considering we had the window open all the time and the hotel is close to one of Brasov's main boulevards. The room was very clean, too. The breakfast was tasty for a small restaurant. You have a Wi-Fi connection personalized for each room instead of a general one for the entire hotel, which I found nice and modern.

Large room, friendly staff, really close to the old centre and all the attractions, just around the corner there are pharmacies and a Lidl store, also the bus station. The room was big and even though it didn't have a balcony, I didn't feel like I needed it. The proximity to the city centre means it will always be traffic near the hotel, so the air is polluted. We arrived and left early in the morning. When we arrived, we couldn't check-in until 2PM, but we could leave our luggage at the hotel. When we left, they prepared sandwiches, apples, water and desserts for us since we had to skip the hotel breakfast. Overall a nice experience and would absolutely recommend.

I think there could be some variation to the breakfast, it was the same every day. We could choose from a bunch of options though, so this is me nitpicking.

The room for three was exceptionally spacious and within walking distance of Transilvania University. A Lidl store was conveniently located next door, with halal eateries also nearby.

It would be great if breakfast on Sundays could be served earlier, as it currently starts at 8 AM—an earlier option would be especially helpful for those who are travelling.

The room was very large, mainly since we stayed in the 3-star part of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly in all aspects. The rooms and the hotel were spotless and, surprisingly, quiet for its location.

The Wi-Fi idea of having each room with its own account, which was very good in theory, backfired somehow, as it constantly lost connection and jumped to connect to the unprotected Ambient general unprotected Wi-Fi.

We arrived with 3 little kids for 5 days, had very nice time in the hotel. There is a parking and when full the staff helps finding one. We booked family room (2 floor room) and they were great, the kids slept on the 5th floor and we had the 6th floor (with jacuzzi). Both floors have air conditioning, the rooms are large and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and we received baby crib with no problems. The breakfast has variety and we always found what to eat... amd our problematic kids included...

Top floor has wifi problems.

Very modern hotel with excellent large bathroom, except for small shower cubicle. Good location, although not in old town, but it’s close to the large shopping mall and good location to access the railway station, cable car and old town and lots of shopping around it, with a Lidl almost next door. Good breakfast with free coffee machine

Lovely big bathroom (I can only speak for our room), but has a small shower complex with 2 closing doors. very confining for larger people. Should install a nice big walk in shower, they have the room!

Location is great, the breakfast was pretty good, the hotel is small and private and the room was huge. Had everything we needed.

getting to the rooms themselves was a bit of a hassle. Three staircases with a 74 year old a few times a day wasn’t the best thing that could happen, but it’s definitely no a dealbreaker of any sort.

The door cards (2 of them) didn't work after one use and we had to go downstairs and request a new one every day (2 cards / day). Nobody did anything to fix this, they just gave us new cards every day (but we had to go upstairs, try, go downstairs, get new card, go upstairs and enter the room). Every day was too much. We kept the card in various places (not to be near magnets).
