We rented the full apartment on the first floor of Casa Balcescu. This was 5 bedrooms with a shared living and kitchenette ( fridge, sink, coffee- but not for cooking). This worked for 12 people. The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated, and the location was amazing- just 5 mins walk from the main square. The hosts were super helpful, accommodating and kind. Highly recommended.

If you are looking to stay as a couple, some rooms might be a bit noisy and offer less privacy, due to windows that open into common areas. Parking is available, but sometimes tricky.

The host was really nice. This place is perfect for someone that comes to visit Brasov without a car, there are intructions for everything inside the house in English, the rooms are big and there was a shared kitchen with dining area. Too bad we were there only for one night. If you come by car, you will be able to find a paid parking spot, but it will a bit challenging.

There was an unpleasent smell coming from the toilet.

The location is very practical, as it is within the old city center but still on an easily accessible street, by car or public transportation. The owner is very kind and welcoming, and the building really makes you feel like you’re staying over at a local’s house. Loved it

The location is walking distance to most interesting sites in Braşov CBD. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Arrived late for check-in but she made arrangements for when we arrived to the property. I will definitely be staying there again if i return to Braşov.

The host is very kind, generous and helpful. She is ready to help and adapt the rooms for our convenience. The couple with us asked to change their room and she kindly assisted them to move. Our room (no. 11) is very spacious and of many facilities)

No elevator

The woman who runs the hotel went above and beyond in helping me when my phone broke. That level of care for your customers is rare and should be celebrated. If I ever come back this way, I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location in the center, large rooms, well equipped kitchen…

It is in an old house and that may be a drawback for some, but the part of the building with appartments to rent is rehabilitated and looks great.

Great location. Very close to the center square and gondola. The place accommodated our group of 6 (two kids and 4 adults). Host was very easy to communicate with.

It says shared kitchen but there was no sink to wash up.

The owner is very friendly, generous , and helpful . I forget my i phone ‘s charger when I checked out and she did so many efforts to get in touch with me . Camelia you are THE BEST . Thank you so much .

Great location, easy to walk to city centre. The room was huge and bathroom renovated. We had a nou rain view room which was nice. Host and other staff were lovely. Our family of 5 had more than enough room.
