Great location close to the old town of Sibiu. Large rooms, and they provided a crib pack n play for our baby. Good shower and bathroom.

Based on the pictures I thought this was a normal hotel. You can tell that it was an old house/apartments converted to guest rooms. You had to walk outside to get from the reception to the rooms and some rooms have exterior doors. It was kind of a pain to navigate with the baby and the stroller

The location is perfect, the staff is responsive, the room is large, very clean and comfortable.

Parking is not available if you don't reserve it way in advance and otherwise it is difficult to find a spot in the public parking. The AC (we used the heating) is a bit too loud and gets the air in the room very dry.

I thought I booked a room the the other ‘Casa Chitic’ which is literally 100m away as I stayed there before and like it more. Reason: interior design of the rooms is better. Anyhow, this was my mistake, but you could consider explicitly mentioning it to customers to pay attention because it’s confusing. All in all, it was a nice stay, got impressed by the inner yard (feels like a place of noble people), very tidy rooms, a lot of space and great breakfast (included in the price, everyone gets that). A big plus is that you’re right in the city old centre (just 1 min walk around the corner). Lastly, I definitely want to mention the personnel has the right attitude i.e. kind, friendly and welcoming, hands down.

Location was superb , reception personal and food and beverage were super friendly and had good english , Breakfast was good , everything i wanted to have for breakfast, the room looked new and clean .

The reason i gave a 9 which is already high and not a 10 was the noise outside the room at night time , i think as a recommendation in every room should be a paper that says “quiet hours are from this time to that time” and also a do not disturb sign was missing and the entrace door window is a bit transparent, small curtain would solve it . All those things were not a deal breaker for me but this would make the hotel even the top place to stay in Brasov.

Great location in old town easy walk to all of the points of interest. Comfortable medium sized room and bathroom nicely renovated and refurbished . Breakfast provided was more than adequate. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were located in a secure courtyard space off a fairly busy street but once in it was very quiet. Casa Chitic has a number of residences in the old part of Braşov so a bit of a challenge to find.

Very good location, very close to Old Town main square and many other attractions. Clean. Breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The beds were not comfortable (very hard mattresses). The parking spaces are difficult to manage. Although you can reserve a parking space and you receive it at arrival, it is always necessary to call the staff to clear a parking space, as they are always occupied. The staff is very helpful in this regard, but all these manoeuvres are not really pleasant especially if you want to take several trips with the car during your stay.

Comfortable and tastefully decorated in excellent location. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast is good, ordinary.

The photo of the impressive front of the hotel is a bit misleading as it’s not clear if any of those rooms are hotel rooms except for those in the top floor. Almost all the rooms are at the back of the building accessed via a walkway. My room and I believe most rooms have no view, and just one small window. Check in a bit tricky as there are two hotels close to each other with the same name and it appears at first that you have to check in via an app — be sure to have the right one and there should be someone there before 8pm. There wasn’t a restaurant in spite of the name.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, all thanks to Lorand. What a lovely and charming man! He couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was a problem for him, even taking our 2 big and heavy suitcases to our room. Communication with the hotel was very easy as whenever I had any queries and emailed the hotel, Lorand replied immediately. Casa Chitic hotel is very central and very clean . Our room was massive, modern and the bed and pillows were very comfortable as was the shower room. Our bedroom overlooked the pretty wide street and we could see the Hollywood Brasov sign. This hotel is a jewel and I truly recommend it. I look forward to going back in the near future but next time I will definitely stay for more than 2 nights, as Brasov is an amazing city and there are so many things to do. The staff was very kind, the room was specious and very clean. They provide linen also for the baby. We like very much the furniture. If you come by car you can park on the street for around 10 lei/day. It's just a few minutes by walk from the main square. Walking distance from all the main attractions of the city center. The breakfast has a very large selection savory and sweet.

They do not have elevator (and we know it in advance) and we have a 2 y.o. baby. A room at first floor instead of the second should be appreciate but we undertstand that old historical palace shouldn't have all the facility we used to have.

Lack of attention of the employee reception and no reaction when notified about a bath “flood”. The drain was clogged - my husband cleaned and unclogged the shower drain at midnight (by taking out some pieces of the drain which remained still missing for the upcoming day also - from Friday night until Sunday morning). Limited breakfast options, but very good coffee.
