Great location close to the old town of Sibiu. Large rooms, and they provided a crib pack n play for our baby. Good shower and bathroom.

Based on the pictures I thought this was a normal hotel. You can tell that it was an old house/apartments converted to guest rooms. You had to walk outside to get from the reception to the rooms and some rooms have exterior doors. It was kind of a pain to navigate with the baby and the stroller

The location is perfect, the staff is responsive, the room is large, very clean and comfortable.

Parking is not available if you don't reserve it way in advance and otherwise it is difficult to find a spot in the public parking. The AC (we used the heating) is a bit too loud and gets the air in the room very dry.

I arrived there about 4 hours before the check-in time. The hotel kept my luggage while going out until the check-in time. They let me check in 2 hours earlier than the check-in time (depending on the availability of the room on the day). There is no lift in the hotel, and the staff carried up my luggage to my room on the 3rd floor when checked in, and carried it down when checked out. Very helpful. Location is very good. Easy access to the sightseeing spots, cafes and restaurants, and shops.

The building structure is complex to reach the room on the upper floor. There is no lift and guests need to walk up and down using stairs and/or narrow corridor. My room was small without view. All these were not a problem for me because I stayed for one night only, but some people may feel these as a problem.

One staff member was exceptionally kind, the other seemed overwhelmed by simple requests. Our ground floor room, which we requested to avoid lugging cases upstairs, was large, airy and lovely, but some slight disturbance as it was right next to Reception. All exceptionally clean, a recurring theme throughout the places we visited in Transylvania. The location is fabulous for restaurants, lots of them to choose from just round the corner, but the address was hard to drive to and virtually impossible without gps. We were guaranteed a parking place right outside, essential for us.

The face towels we were assured by the day staff never actually materialized, even though we stayed 2 nights. Extra pillows would have been appreciated. Proper spoons with the tea coffee facilities tray and milk capsules would have been useful. Perhaps the hotel info could make it very clear that it is not suitable for disabled guests as the breakfast is served in what was once a cellar, down a flight of stone steps.

Location is great. Host is wonderful and considerate Property is very clean and nicely appointed in terms of decor - artwork, furniture etc Breakfast is fresh and satisfying Rooms are very spacious Bed is great, comfortable and large No lift, but stairwell is large Parking is easily obtainable next to or close to the hotel- paid street parking. (There is low traffic flow on the cobbled road of the old town outside the property, so no need to be concerned about this) The property smelled beautiful.. just lovely and inviting.

Internet accessibility is poor. I suspect due to the walls, rooms of the old building blocking or impairing the signal.

I thought I booked a room the the other ‘Casa Chitic’ which is literally 100m away as I stayed there before and like it more. Reason: interior design of the rooms is better. Anyhow, this was my mistake, but you could consider explicitly mentioning it to customers to pay attention because it’s confusing. All in all, it was a nice stay, got impressed by the inner yard (feels like a place of noble people), very tidy rooms, a lot of space and great breakfast (included in the price, everyone gets that). A big plus is that you’re right in the city old centre (just 1 min walk around the corner). Lastly, I definitely want to mention the personnel has the right attitude i.e. kind, friendly and welcoming, hands down.

The hotel is in a great position right behind the main square, along a busy street, but the room was not noisy at all. Both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good buffet breakfast in the morning, mostly savoury. Parking is available at an additional cost and must be booked in advance (otherwise parking in this part of the town might be an issue). It's coveniently located right in front of the entrance.

We booked a deluxe room which we later discovered was in the attic: 2 flights of stairs with no lift might be an issue to some people.

Location was superb , reception personal and food and beverage were super friendly and had good english , Breakfast was good , everything i wanted to have for breakfast, the room looked new and clean .

The reason i gave a 9 which is already high and not a 10 was the noise outside the room at night time , i think as a recommendation in every room should be a paper that says “quiet hours are from this time to that time” and also a do not disturb sign was missing and the entrace door window is a bit transparent, small curtain would solve it . All those things were not a deal breaker for me but this would make the hotel even the top place to stay in Brasov.

Great location in old town easy walk to all of the points of interest. Comfortable medium sized room and bathroom nicely renovated and refurbished . Breakfast provided was more than adequate. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were located in a secure courtyard space off a fairly busy street but once in it was very quiet. Casa Chitic has a number of residences in the old part of Braşov so a bit of a challenge to find.

Very good location, very close to Old Town main square and many other attractions. Clean. Breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The beds were not comfortable (very hard mattresses). The parking spaces are difficult to manage. Although you can reserve a parking space and you receive it at arrival, it is always necessary to call the staff to clear a parking space, as they are always occupied. The staff is very helpful in this regard, but all these manoeuvres are not really pleasant especially if you want to take several trips with the car during your stay.
