We stayed in the queen room, the room it’s so big and very nicely decorated, the view is so beautiful, it’s so worth the money to get the balcony and view.

The hotel was directly opposite the main square so in an excellent location. My room was further back so I experienced no road noise or noise from events in the square at all. The breakfast was very good with choices of hot food, hams, cheeses, salad, fruit, yogurts, cereals, juices etc. The dining room was plenty big enough and the cleanliness was to a high standard.

I liked my stay and the room and facilities were very good. I can imagine that rooms at the front of the hotel could possibly be noisier but I did not experience any noise from outside at all during my seven-night stay.

The best part about the hotel is its location. The view from our suite was amazing, and the hotel was also very close to all the must-see sights. The breakfast was also decent. The hotel also has a paid parking (but take in mind that it's at a different hotel, at about 600 m).

The suite didn't have a powerful air conditioner, so it was just a small one on the floor that barely kept us cold. So, in order to have the best possilbe experience, it would be great to have a powerful conditioner, as most hotels do, especially during the hot summer days.

Safrano Palace is perfectly situated right on the main square in the town and is well named. The room was beautifully clean, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast boasted an array of food stuffs fit for a count … or a boyard! But best of all Ionuț and Camillia were so helpful. Ionuț filled us in on the gaps in our historical knowledge (woeful and considerable as we do not study much at home about Central and Eastern Europe unfortunately - something which as part of the EU we really should address). I can only say that you will have a wonderful stay in this beautiful old Saxon town - and thee are still some 900 people of Saxon descent living here).

Absolutely fantastic location! This is my city, I was born here. Visiting after a long while and it improved tremendously. Safrano Palace is located right in the center of the old city, concerts or something happens on weekends. Tampa mountain is literally 10 minutes away where you can plan your trip, a short or a long one to the top of Postavaru. My stay was pleasent one, the staff is very helpful, on the last day I left early in the morning and they prepared sandwiches, apple and banana 😀. Breakfast is literally a feast, I gained a couple of pounds. I will definitely stay again on my next visit!

The bathroom mirror is toooo low. I'm 6.4" and literally if I stay straight I can see only my shoulders. Shaving turns out to be a workout for the legs. Also, there's no complementary lotion and the soap is kind of harsh (I had to purchase soap and lotion on my own, no problem!)

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, literally across the street from Piata Sfatului (Council Square). The room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. I appreciated the vintage vibe of the design, as the building itself is quite old (its back was part of the medieval ramparts of the town). My room was located in the inner courtyard overlooked by the White Tower. The rooms from the inner courtyard are very much like in a motel (each one of them is to be entered directly from the courtyard). I enjoyed that, as it allowed for more privacy and, unlike a motel, it also felt very, very safe (as the courtyard gate was locked during the night). If this is not your style, there are also regular rooms, in the hotel wing facing the street. Last but not least, the breakfast was very good, diverse and with lots of hearty foods.

The hotel is in a good location, close with all good restaurants, shops and coffee shops . The rooms are old style, very tall , clean . We do understand it’s an old building and can’t have air conditioning but they do have large windows and better to keep them open needs to have windows insects protected , lots of bees around and flies from outside . Better to invest into this things. We were lucky from two nights stay we had only one night hot and the room had the air purifier (a little clean needed the back of the machine , was full of dust). We did stayed in room 23 , family room with two bedrooms and king beds very comfortable to sleep, towels for everyone, and shower gel in the shower and hand soaps , shower room lot of space .Staff very nice and helpful,breakfast everything for everyone. I liked the coffee. It’s very nice hotel to stay and to enjoy the lovely Braşov and we went to Poiana Braşov which is only 15min drive . Parking we had at another hotel booked thru Safrano Palace at 10min walk for two days 100 lei- not very bad and not very expensive. Lovey short stay with you.

Only the heat in the room and I don’t think I can stay/sleep during the very hot summer weather, you can’t sleep with windows open because of the insects and during the days lots of bees.

In the most fantastic location right on the main square. You couldn't pick a better located hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was good. Our room, a junior suite was up a set of stairs and was quiet apart from the occasional dog barking. Breakfast was decent apart from the choice of tea bags. If you like a proper cup of tea, make sure you bring your own tea bags with you because they only seem to have fruit tea or Earl Grey. It's a decent hotel in an ideal location and I would happily stay there again if I returned to Brasov.

There was no mirror in our room apart from the one in the bathroom.

Location was perfect (the center of the city is right across the street, museums are nearby, pharmacies, bookstores, and many wonderful places to eat), beautiful building and room clean and comfortable. Everything was great. I am definitely going to return here very soon.

The breakfast was not what I was expecting based on the reviews that were claiming it is "fabulous", it had very few options, but it was ok and enough to get you going.

Good breakfast, the room is small but it very cosy. The hotel is nicely located within 2 min walking of Piata Sfatului but the room didn't have a view of it or The Black Church. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are traditionally decorated.

These have been the softest pillows that we have ever had. Parking is not very close. If you don't want to travel on foot too much with baggage's then this not the hotel for you. The car park is at more than 600m away (about 10 min walking), you have to book it and you pay for it.
