The hotel is in a very central location, but on a street that's not so crowded. The room was very spacious for a single room, and both my dog and I felt very welcome there. Lots to choose from at breakfast, and very delicious. Extra points for the little bottle of complimentary sparkling wine I received as I was staying for New Year's :) Possible downsides (which I actually didn't mind but others might): - the window looks into the inner courtyard (which is clearly specified in the listing + made the room extra quiet even during the New Year's fireworks show) - there is no mini fridge in the room (though there are a few "mini bar" sodas on top of the dresser)

The location is excellent, very near the main square. The personnel is very friendly and accommodating. I was woken up by a phone call at 6 am on a Sunday from one of my students (who were staying at an Air B&B nearby) with a medical emergency. The hotel staff was incredibly professional and organized a taxi right away and, when my student was released from the hospital and came to the hotel with me, the student got the biggest hug imaginable. In short, the people who work at Hirscher really care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure one is taken care of. A fabulous place to stay in Brasov.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good and it had a family vibe to it thanks to the lady that took care of the breakfast buffet. The room was great although the rain made it difficult to keep the windows open without the water coming in. Very clean, comfortable bed and there was no noise from neighboring rooms or the restaurants outside.

One thing that bothered me was the church with it's bells ringing at 6-7 am and not just once but continuously. Made it hard for me to stay asleep. Also, when we first checked in, the room temperature was so hot and no windows were left open for fresh air to come in. I opened all windows as soon as we entered but it took a while for the room to get to a comfortable level.

The deluxe twin room was huge, very beautiful, beautiful view in 2 directions. Right in the heart of the old city, very close to the main square. The hotel is beautiful, family friendly, pleasant and kind staff. The shower is really big, clean and comfortable, there were 2 sinks and plenty of space. There was a large space to store 4 suitcases. Very nice, we will definitely come back

.It's not that we didn't like it, but we had a weak stream in the shower and the staff immediately took care of fixing it Do not park in the parking lots near the hotel, really expensive. Instead, park on the street next to the hotel and use the tpark app, it only costs 24 Lei per day

The property was clean, very well maintained and the location is so close to everything important in old town Brasov. I chose this place because of its location and amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. The manager Alina was very helpful. She was very prompt in her email and booking.com app responses. Initially I had booked a single room, later my friend had decided to join me but the property had already sold out but still a simple message to them and they willingly accommodated us by upgrading me to a bigger room with twin beds for the appropriate cost. Infact we arrived before check-in time but they were kind enough to let us use the room as it was empty and ready. We had a lovely view from the room of the street in front of us. And the backdrop of Tampa mountain with cable cars going up and down was just stunning. The room was spotless, the bathroom was impeccably clean and we loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. With a short 250m walk amongst beautiful restaurants that leads you to Council square, this is the location you want to be at if you're main focus is Old Town Brașov. It's walkable from everywhere in old town. Maybe even the rest of Brașov (I didn't explore much of the downtown). All the best restaurants in Brașov, lots of shopping and sightseeing is walkable from this property. The breakfast was a lovely continental spread. Even though it's a smaller property, they didn't dial back on the number of items they had on the buffet. My friend is a vegetarian, when I mentioned this, the lady taking care of the buffet immediately whipped up a rice dish with mushrooms and bell peppers for her which was delicious. They had fruits, juices, pastries, breads, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, coffee machine, everything. When we checked out, my friend had accidentally left behind her airpod and I contacted Alina on WhatsApp, she was incredibly kind to search for it and find it. We had a friend collect it for us.

No negative comments from me. Only one suggestion- the bathroom didn't have a shower curtain which led to some water pooling on the bathroom floor (outside shower area) whenever we used the shower. But it's a really minor thing and it didn't stop me from the greatest time.

We loved the location —very safe and close to the city center. One of the front desk staff (a female with glasses) stood out to us as very welcoming and helpful. This was also true for one of the breakfast staff—she was incredibly kind. The room was huge—perfect for four and all of our luggage. Premises were clean. Eateries immediately outside or nearby. Good varied breakfast.

The rugs could be darker and or replaced as they had some markings on them. Housekeeping was speedy— in and out. Bed sunk in and pillows were not for me. The a/c was not quiet. One of the nights the ceiling started leaking unexpectedly. How these type situations are handled in Romania are much different —no compensation or mention of potentially switching rooms. Instead we were told by the young man —that it could happen again, which was confusing to us.

Love, love, love this hotel! It’s within a few minutes’ walk to the main square and has several restaurants and cafes right outside its door. The breakfast buffet is nice and the woman who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were great and helped me out when I needed a couple of favors. The room came with a robe and slippers, and they just gave that “extra special” feeling to the stay. Great elevator, wonderful view from my top floor room. Nice shampoo, etc. I will definitely stay here when I return to Braşov!

I thought it was odd that even though they had nice amenities and they had a very nice soap dispenser by the sink, there was no soap to use in the shower. Also the bathrobe was missing the tie, but maybe that’s so you don’t take the robe?

Very inviting and warm atmosphere. Great location - an old beautiful building, right in the heart of the old city, very close to the main square. The windows in our attic room looked upon the Black Church.

The coffee machine looked a bit dirty, some spaces in the bathroom were not properly cleaned (the bathroom radiator for example was full of dust). The carpet in the room was also stained near the table

The location of the hotel is excellent - when you come out of the hotel on the right you can see Tampa mountain and the Brasov sign and the square in the old town is only a minutes walk to the left. There are lots of bars and restaurants all around the square. The hotel itself in on a pedestrianised street , we ordered an uber on a few occasions they were able to pull in just a few steps from the entrance to the hotel which is very convenient. We only stayed one night in a one bed room apartment which was lovely. We had originally booked a twin room and I had requested an upgrade the day before arrival and when we arrived the receptionist - so sorry I can't remember her name as she couldn't have been more helpful - showed us both rooms and allowed us to finalise our decision then. She was so helpful giving us lots of advice about Brasov itself, the cable car, Bran castle and also advised us to go to Peles Castle - though unfortunately we didn't have time for this. The breakfast was continental and very good value for 50 lei - juices, cereals, yogurts, bread, tea/coffee, seeds, cheese, salads available. The apartment had a kitchen/living area with couches, coffee table and lots of counter space it also had coffee machine, kettle, stove with 2 rings, pots pans, crockery and cutlery. There was complimentary tea and coffee.

Everything was great here - the location was super close to Piata Sfatului, lots of restaurants around but pretty quiet area. The room was really spacious and clean, we loved the design and the high ceiling. The automatic windows in the ceiling were definitely a plus for us as we love the fresh air, even during winter. Enough space for luggage, big wardrobe, and great bathroom. Perhaps the best highlight for us was the staff - Lucian, in particular, was very kind and helpful with us and he tried his best to accommodate us. There was also a possibility to leave the luggage before check-in, which we did as we came to the hotel at 10 am. Would definitely come here again!
